“No problem! Of course, we understand and know Rome wasn’t built in a day! Shelly, can I ask what pack Aisha is in now?” inquired Isabelle.
“You told them about Aisha?” probed Holly.
“Yes, I wanted them to better understand our bond and point of view!” shared Shelly.
“And you wanted time to stall? Hoping by the time you got everyone outside I would have calmed down some…. well played! I was wondering what the holdup was, and now I know… it was my kind–hearted friend… always trying to save people from this ass whooping I be so ready to unleash.” stated Holly, shaking her head at her best friend Shelly.
“Well, what are friends for… if not to save you from yourself? Besides, I can’t call Aisha and tell her you are in prison or dead. Aisha would lose her s**t….” confessed Shelly.
“True!” said Holly.
“For our safety, Aisha has not disclosed that information to us! She knows just like we do. Sooner or later, Alpha Hudson of the White Fur Pack will come to question us about her whereabouts? If we don’t know s**t, we don’t have to lie or worry about letting something slip
out.” explained Shelly.
“We have already noticed people following us whenever we leave the pack grounds. He has tried to clone our cell phones and hack into our emails already. Thank Goddess, Shelly is a genius and a computer whiz, so he will never have any luck in that department.” stated Holly.
“What do you mean follow? Why is this the first we have heard of our mates being followed?”
demanded Laz.
“Because we have it under control! We can take care of ourselves! We are not helpless! And trust me when I say they don’t want this smoke!” stated Holly.
“Holly and I are a deadly combination! Plus, for now, I have been feeding him false information every chance I get. So, for the time being, he isn’t a threat and has no interest in speaking with ús. So calm down! We got this! We will let you know when we don’t!” said Shelly.
“Fine!” replied Laz.
“Fine, but I don’t like this! For my peace of mind, no more leaving the pack land alone. Either with us or family members or guards! We will figure it out!” responded Carlos.

“What?! All that is not necessary!” shouted Holly.
“Just humor us!” said Laz.
“Fine!” commented Holly.
“Fine! You are lucky, I love you!” stated Shelly.
“Good it’s settled then! I love you, too!” replied a content Carlos. Carlos and Laz have always
been best friends, so it didn’t surprise them that their mates were best friends as well. They
felt it made life easier and smoother.
“We understand and appreciate your willingness to work on your temper! Alpha Hudson! I met
him once and wasn’t impressed then and still not! His mother really should have swallowed
him and tried again! I would be absolutely beside myself if anything happened to Holly and Shelly on my watch, so guards will be a must. I would rather be safe than sorry! Especially
when it comes to dealing with an insane and entitled Alpha and Beta duo!” said Luna Isabella
as everyone laughed at her comment.
“Seriously, can you let her know our offer of a safe haven in our pack is real, as well as if she
wants an escort to our pack and back… we can arrange it!” requested Beta Lunelle.
“I do remember talk going around at our last Annual Alpha Meeting that Alpha Hudson was
looking for his runaway Luna!” stated Alpha Roberto, more to himself than to anyone in
particular.
“Well! He needs to forget about Aisha. He has a better chance of catching a bullet than her
forgiveness…that ship sailed away years ago!” confessed Holly.
“That’s sweet! That’s wonderful! That y’all would be willing to open this pack to her… in spite of the possible trouble it could cause!” said Shelly.
“Thank you all! That is a wonderful offer! If we can get both Aisha, Vera and Trina here to stay and live permanently it would mean the world to us! It’s not a day that goes by, I don’t worry about her. I constantly pray Alpha Hudson and his creepy ass Beta Boris have not found her,
Trina and Vera.” stated Holly.
“You’re right! It would take away a lot of my worries! And Vera, too!” admitted Shelly.
“Who is Vera?” questioned Beta Ricardo before anyone else could.
“A little girl they met! She is an orphan, and they adopted her, too!” answered Shelly.
“Well, the Shadow Pack has offered their assistance as well, with a protection detail!”
informed Beta Ricardo.

“That was nice of them! I get good vibes from them. The Newport Lake Pack I don’t, and I wouldn’t leave my dog with them, and I don’t even own a dog!” professed Shelly.
“Well, damn! Shelly keep telling us how you really feel! I don’t think I have heard this many
words from you since I met you woman! Does that mean you are getting more comfortable
around me and us?” inquired her mate, Gamma Carlos.
“Yes!” proclaimed Shelly, laughing and blushing.
