Shelly quietly got up from the table and started looking around at her mate, Carlos, Holly’s mate Laz, Alpha Roberto and Luna Isabella, as well as their twins Emilio and Emilia of the Black Mantle Pack. Beta Riccardo and his mate, Beta Lunelle of the Black Mantle Pack and
their three daughters, Lucia, Elena and Sofia. Alpha Victor and Luna Valentina, Gamma Javier
of the Greytooth Pack, along with Luna Valentina’s first cousin Sara and now the completely f****d–up Cousin Ava, their friend Emeralda, with Ava and Sara’s parents, Leonardo & Paloma,
all five being pack members of the Black Mantle Pack.
Luna Valentina always wanted them included when she came for a visit to her old pack, since
her own parents were off globe–trotting around the world. Everyone knew Luna Valentina was
a bully and not very nice. Her little friend group wasn’t any better.
Shelly finished looking around the table at Alpha Tomas, Beta Agustin, Gamma Ignacio of the
Shadow Pack. They were trying hard to contain their laughter and amusement as well as to
keep straight faces. Shelly remembers her and Holly agreed earlier that they instantly liked
these men. Their aura just oozed laidback and good–natured gentlemen. They had learned
through trial and error how to be a good judge of character.
They had agreed instantly that they didn’t fuckin like Alpha Tomas’s brother, Alpha Victor and
his Luna Valentina, and they felt sorry for Gamma Javier for having to deal with both of them
assholes.
“Just so we are clear before we go outside! Yes, Holly is an orphan! She had a great life until
her grandparents and parents all died in a rogue attack when she was 14 years old. There was
no one left to care for her, so her pack sent her away to the Juvenile Rehab Center. The new
pack Beta family and Luna were jealous of her beauty. Holly is a pure blood Beta of a strong
bloodline. She is the last standing member on both sides of her family tree. She is as true blue as they come. She is a fierce protector and one hell of a communicator. She is appreciative of
everything and everyone…. but what you are not going to do is disrespect her or someone she
loves…. especially after being given a clear warning to stop. To Holly that will always be a clear line in the MF sand not to cross. When my family turned their backs on me when my Old. Alpha Morgan kicked me out of the pack at 10 years old for simply shifting into an omega wolf at my first shift. I’m not ever going to apologize for using my brain and not my body. The pack doctor Melissa Charleston and the medic team came into the dining room. They quickly attended to Ava.

Everyone was fixed on the fired up, usually quiet and reserved omega. No one in the original group dared move or speak, not wanting to miss a word out of Shelly’s mouth. They all wanted to know about these two ladies, who kept everything so tight–lipped. They are always so private and reserved.
“I never hurt anyone, sold my body, did drugs, sold drugs, compromised my integrity or my self–respect. I am a woman of principles and inner strength. Everyone is always quick to judge or say what they would or wouldn’t do if life comes knocking, but few would really be able to stand 10 toes down when s**t really hits the fan.” asserted Shelly.
Luna Valentina and her friends quickly put their heads down in shame and embarrassment.
“When your own family throws you away like trash, and you have to really focus to survive… you have to grow up fast and learn to depend on you and only you. All you have is your intelligence to work with, and three women come along… and teach you the real meaning of family…it’s amazing, a true blessing. Sometimes, it’s not about who you met at birth but the people you met along the way that looked out for you and treated you better than your own family. That fed you, clothed, protected you and taught you s**t–that… you didn’t have to beg them to do it, suck their d**k to do it, nothing….. they did it because they wanted to do it and because they loved you despite their own pain or problems. That right their forms one hell of a powerful bond. So don’t be so quick to dismiss what you don’t understand.” indicated Shelly.
“I have an IQ of 135, given time I can hack into anything. A lot of people see that as a weakness. My girls were the first to make me realize it’s one of my greatest strengths and to be able to say f**k anyone who doesn’t see it as a strength unapologetically. I walked out of
that Juvenile Detention Center still a virgin…. Still with my principles and morals intact and
my head held high. I refused to let anyone make me feel less than or bad for choosing who I
call family. Or bad for not choosing to have relationships with people who left me to die in a
ditch. I can forgive them, but it doesn’t mean I have to have a relationship with any of them.”
declared Shelly.
Carlos and Laz looked around the room with pride. They knew their mates could handle themselves. They were right in their words and actions. They would step in if needed, but right now they will let it play out.
Luna Isbella and Beta Lunell are crying due to the sadness and horror of both girls‘ stories with their mates attempting to comfort them. However, Carlos and Laz have already vowed to make their future better and greater than their past.

they heard stories like these.
“My family is Holly, Trina and Aisha! Women that have shown me repeatedly that not only do they have my back but will f**k s**t up over me and for me. They showed me that just because life gives you lemons doesn’t mean you can’t make lemonade. They taught me how to smile again… how to laugh again…. When I thought I was dead inside.” acknowledged
Shelly.
Carlos heard those words and silently wept for his mate. He promised to be her family always.
His wolf, Max, is upset and ready to murder a few people.
