Chapter 92 His Mommy’s
Lover
“You’re pathetic. A grown man, and you have a kid call a woman when something happens?” Orlando’s wife sneered. “Honey, drop him. I’ll take care of this. What a wimp!”
With a swift motion, Orlando shoved Ryland to the ground, pressing his foot down on Ryland’s stomach.
“How dare you try to act tough in front of me?” Orlando’s voice dripped with disdain. “No one in Tofral speaks to me like this. Today, I’ll make sure you learn your place.”
He pushed harder on Ryland’s stomach. Ryland winced in pain but stayed silent, unwilling to make a sound that might scare Felix.
Crying, Felix frantically tapped his smart watch, glancing nervously at Ryland. Despite the pain, Ryland managed a strained smile to reassure the little boy. Felix, though just a kid, understood that Orlando was bullying Ryland.
Felix tried calling Renee twice, but when she didn’t pick up, his worry deepened. Terrified that Orlando might do something worse, he paused for a moment before dialing another number.
This time, the call was answered almost immediately, and a deep, calm voice came through. “Felix, what’s going on?”
“Mr. Mitchell, please come help Mr. Flynn. Please…”
As soon as Felix heard the familiar voice, he broke down, tears streaming down his face.
The call was on speaker, and Ryland recognized William’s voice, his headache intensifying. “Felix, call your mommy.”
Nearby, Jimmy’s mother chuckled, her voice dripping with mockery. “Seems like you really are his mommy’s lover. Kid, are you calling your dad? Tell him to come over and meet your mommy’s lover.”
Ryland snarled, “Shut your mouth, you bitch! One more word, and I’ll make sure you never speak again!”
Orlando lifted his foot and drove it hard into Ryland’s stomach. “You still have the energy to curse? Believe me, I’ll deal with that little brat after I’m done with you.”
“No! Don’t hurt Uncle Ryland…” Felix cried out, desperately trying to crawl toward him.
Seeing the little boy’s distress, Ryland quickly intervened, his voice gentle but firm. “Felix, be good. Stay where you are. Your mommy will be here soon. Call her now, okay?”
Obediently, Felix, forgetting he was still on the call with William, hung up and dialed Renee instead.
The phone rang for a while before Renee finally answered, her voice tinged with
concern.
“Felix, what’s wrong? I was busy and missed your calls.”
Felix, always understanding that his mother’s work was demanding, rarely called unless it was urgent. Renee, sensing something was wrong, immediately focused.
“Mommy, Uncle Ryland’s being bullied by a bad man. Mommy, come quickly,” Felix’s
voice trembled, desperate for help.
At that moment, Jimmy’s mother stormed over, snatching Felix’s smart watch from his wrist. “So, you’re this kid’s mom, huh? Your kid hit my son, and your lover had the audacity to challenge my husband. You’d better bring 100, 000 dollars and make your lover and son apologize, or you’re in for it.”
With a sharp motion, she slammed Felix’s smart watch to the ground.
“You call this a smart watch?” She sneered, kicking it. “What a worthless piece of junk!”
Felix stood frozen, his heart sinking. His eyes welled with tears, but he was too frightened to speak up. He stared at the now broken smart watch, whispering, “Daddy made that for me… It’s not junk…”
The woman heard his words and sneered, her voice dripping with mockery. “So your dad’s just some assembly line worker, huh? What a loser! No wonder your mom has a lover.”
She then raised her foot and stomped on the smart watch, crushing it into pieces, leaving only a faint red light blinking.
