Chapter 65 Tell Me You

Miss Me

“You said kids were a lot of work, and you’d only consider having them after you’d had your fun,” William remarked, his tone almost mocking.

Renee paused, realizing how true his words were. That was exactly how she had felt and someone she would say back then. She had wanted nothing more than to enjoy life with him, to keep their world just for the two of them-no interruptions.

But after they married, everything changed. She tried everything she could to keep him close, and having his child became her sole focus. Yet, every time they were in bed, just when things began to heat up, he would stop and put on a condom. On the rare occasions he lost control, he’d follow it up with pills for her.

Gradually, Renee started to wonder if he didn’t want children with her at all. So when she found out that Sylvia was pregnant, her anger flared. It dawned on Renee that it wasn’t that William didn’t want kids; it was that he didn’t want them with her. But when it came to Sylvia, everything was different.

“Don’t pin all of this on me. You didn’t want kids either. Now, this way, we can part without any strings attached,” Renee said coldly.

William blinked, a roguish grin tugging at the corners of his mouth. He leaned in closer, and for a moment, Renee thought he was going to kiss her again. She turned her head just slightly, feeling his warm breath brush against her ear, sending a shiver down her

spine.

His voice was deep, seductive, and filled with an unmistakable desire. “Then let’s have one now. That way, you’ll always think of me and our child.”

“You’re crazy,” she muttered, shaking her head.

Before she could push him off, he bit her earlobe gently. He was all too aware of all her sensitive spots, and it took nothing more than a kiss to turn her on.

“Nene…” He whispered her name, his voice thick with need. “Tell me you miss me.”

His lips trailed over her skin, kissing every inch of her body he had longed for over the

past three years.

Renee clenched her jaw, biting her lip and refusing to speak. Her body, however, didn’t lie. Every time William appeared in her dreams, it only made her hate him more when she woke up. But despite the fury inside her, a part of her still reacted to him, unwilling to admit how much he still affected her.

“William, I hate you.” Her voice was cold, but her eyes betrayed her-burning with an undeniable passion.

Seeing the fire in her gaze, William leaned down, pressing his lips gently to her eyes, as though trying to make her see only him, to erase everything else from her mind.

“Let’s forget those three years and start over,” he whispered, his voice soft but filled with longing.

She looked at him, her expression flat. “Do you really think that’s possible?”

The past three years had scarred her deeper than the five before. There was a bitterness for William and a growing love for Felix. How could she ever forget?

William’s gaze darkened, his voice steady but firm. “If you don’t agree, then I’ll have to keep you locked up too.”

His tone was casual, almost playful, but his expression left no room for doubt-he would follow through on his words.

Renee met his eyes, her resolve unshaken. “You can’t manage that,” she said.

In response, he bit down on her lips, not in passion, but as a warning-a punishment. What started as a tender kiss quickly became an overwhelming pull, an addiction to

her sweetness.

He kissed her deeply, his hand sliding around her waist to feel her smooth, tender skin. The touch of his fingers sent a shiver running through her body.

“Try me,” he murmured, his voice low with intent.

There was a sudden ripping sound, and Renee felt a chill spread across her chest. Looking down, she saw her clothes had been torn apart.

“William! How am I supposed to leave the car like this?” she exclaimed, her voice tinged with exasperation.

He chuckled softly, his eyes glinting with mischief. “Wear mine,” he said, his voice almost tender as he held up his jacket.
