Chapter 347 You Didn’t Kill Someone, Did You

As William approached the door, he inadvertently kicked something. He looked down casually and saw a camera packaging box, which sent him into a rage.

His forehead veins bulged as he emerged from the private room, looking like a predator ready to strike.

Outside, several men were strewn across the floor-some unconscious, others in agony.

William approached a man who was clutching his stomach and moaning weakly, and he stepped on his abdomen. “Where’s the camera?” William demanded, his voice icy.

“I- I don’t know- really-” the man stammered, pain and fear evident in his trembling voice.

William intensified the pressure under his foot, staring down at the man without mercy.

“I really don’t know anything! We were stationed outside. The leader and a few… other people were inside. They’ve already run away—”

As the man’s response broke off, William’s gaze grew colder. He pressed his foot down harder, and the man screamed-a sound that elicited no sympathy from William.

“Ran away? Where to?” William pressed each word heavily, his voice laden with

pressure.

The man, sweating profusely from the pain, could barely speak and merely pointed in a direction with a shaking hand.

William snorted dismissively, shoved the man aside with his foot, and at that moment, Denton and a group entered, startled by the sight of the men on the floor.

“Damn! William! What’s going on-” Denton started to ask, but upon seeing Renee in William’s arms, he grasped the situation. His face fell further, and he asked anxiously, “You didn’t kill anyone, did you?!”

William responded with a stern glance.

Relieved to see that William hadn’t completely lost it, Denton exhaled in relief and reassured himself with a pat on the chest, thankful that the situation was still under

control.

At that moment, William signaled with his eyes, indicating, “Some of them took photos of Renee and fled in that direction.”

Denton instantly perked up, declaring, “I’ll chase them! Leave it to me!”

He then led a few men and dashed out.

Meanwhile, William carried Renee out of the bar, his steps so forceful it seemed he might punch a hole in the ground.

At the height of his anger, he gently placed Renee in the back seat of the car, secured her seatbelt, and as soon as he climbed in, he floored the accelerator. The car leapt forward, tires screaming against the asphalt.

His jaw clenched, William’s hands gripped the steering wheel, his knuckles whitening. His face was a mask of ice, only softening when he caught Renee’s reflection in the

rearview mirror.

Ignoring the honks and shouts from other drivers, he sped up, weaving through traffic.

Upon reaching a small clinic, he slammed on the brakes, bringing the car to a halt right

at the entrance.

William exited the car and approached the clinic, knocking forcefully on the door.

It was late, and the clinic had long since closed, but William persisted, pounding on the

door.

After a long while of banging the door, an annoyed voice responded from inside, “Who is it? It’s the middle of the night! Can’t you just let people sleep and come back

tomorrow?!”

“It’s me!” William replied.

There was a pause inside as the voice softened slightly. “Who?”

Despite the uncertainty, the person inside slowly opened the door.

Impatient and stern, William shouted, “Open the damn door!”
