Chapter 307 Be With His
Wife And Kid
A viewer posed a question. “There are rumors online about that pure white moonlight of yours. Is any of that true?”
William’s brows knitted slightly as he turned to Cathleen, his expression unreadable. “Pure white moonlight? What does that even mean?”
Cathleen, already shy by nature, suddenly found herself thrust into the spotlight in front of hundreds of thousands of viewers!
She fumbled for an answer, her voice unsteady. “It’s um… something similar to childhood sweethearts except you don’t necessarily have to grow up together in this case. So, basically, the person you love the most–the one you can’t forget despite the years.”
William mulled it over for a moment, and then nodded with understanding.
“I did have a childhood friend–my neighbor’s daughter. I grew up with her, but she was always like a sister to me. But there was nothing romantic.”
Another viewer asked, “I heard Infinity is on the brink of bankruptcy. Is that true? Also, there are rumors that several major families in Tofral are teaming up against the Mitchell family. Any truth to that?”
William’s composure didn’t waver. His response was steady. “Infinity Group isn’t going down that easily. As for
those so–called major families in Tofral… I wouldn’t say I’m familiar with them.”
The meaning was obvious–he didn’t even consider them worth acknowledging.
Another question popped up. “Mr. Mitchell, between you and your wife, who pursued whom?”
The moment William read it, a quiet warmth softened his sharp features. A faint smile tugged at his lips before
he even spoke.
He leaned back slightly, his eyes brimming with something almost tender. “She pursued me. But I was the one
who fell in love first.”
The chat exploded instantly–comments flooded in, filled with both admiration and envy.
William’s smile deepened as he continued answering questions.
Most revolved around his relationship with Renee, and since they weren’t too prying, he had no reason to hold
back.
Then, the final question appeared on–screen.
“When are you planning to have a second child?”

William paused, a soft chuckle escaping his lips as his gaze softened, “Well, that’s a conversation I’ll need to have with her… and with our first little one. After all, I can’t exactly make a baby on my own.”
The chat exploded with heartwarming comments like “So sweet! So sweet!!” and “Mr. Mitchell is so down–to-
earth!!”
As he prepared to wrap up the live stream, William’s phone buzzed, He glanced down and saw the message was from Renee. A smile tugged at his lips, and the viewers immediately picked up on it. The chat flooded with eager questions. “Is it from your wife?”
William nodded, his smile widening. “Yes, it’s from her.”
Without hesitation, he held his phone up to the camera, letting everyone see the screen.
“She’s asking when I first fell for her. I’ll save that story for you guys some other time–she doesn’t even know the whole thing yet!” He glanced at the camera one last time. “That’s all for today. Thank you all for tuning in!”
With a final wave, William gave a signal to end the stream.
As soon as the camera cut off, the office erupted into applause!
“Congratulations, Mr. Mitchell! Your first live stream was a huge success!”
“Incredible job, Mr. Mitchell! The results are amazing!”
“The company’s stock is already rising, Mr. Mitchell!”
William, too, felt a sense of satisfaction. It had been his first live stream, his first time sharing such personal
moments with viewers, and it had felt surprisingly fulfilling.
“Handle the rest from here. And contact me if anything urgent comes up.‘
He stood up and addressed the team, a quiet confidence in his tone.
The PR head, curious, asked, “Mr. Mitchell, are you leaving work already?”
It was a rare move for William–leaving work this early was out of the ordinary for him.
He smiled gently, eyes warm, though everyone knew that warmth was meant for one person in particular. He finally responded, “Yes, I’m leaving early to spend time with my wife and child.”
As he headed toward the door, something seemed to strike him. He turned back, his voice more authoritative. “From now on, let’s try to keep overtime to a minimum. If it’s not urgent, leave it for the next day. Everyone should go home early to be with their families.”
