Chapter 305 Live Streaming
“The lights need to be dimmer!”
“Microphone test!”
“Is the camera angle off?”
Everyone was busy themselves with the upcoming live streaming. Cathleen stepped forward cautiously, her head down and her voice barely a whisper. “Mr. Mitchell, I… I can help you with your makeup.”
William blinked, wondering if he’d heard her wrong. Her voice was so quiet, and the idea of makeup being mentioned in connection with him felt almost laughable.
If it weren’t for the makeup tools she was holding, he might have thought it was a joke.
“No need,” he said curtly, his tone flat.
At his response, Cathleen briefly looked up at him, momentarily wondering if he was right. And he was!
William’s features were striking–his face defined and handsome. His skin, though weathered from years in the
military, carried a rugged edge that only added to his appeal. For a man, those imperfections weren’t flaws;
they were an asset.
This man was practically flawless.
“Alright… Mr. Mitchell, please get ready. The equipment’s all set up over there.”
The moment she finished speaking, the head of the PR team called out, “We’re ready!”
William walked with assured steps toward the live streaming area.
The setup was simple but sleek. In front of his desk, the space had been transformed–professional fill light settings, cameras, and sound equipment neatly arranged, ready for the stream.
He settled into the chair with calm precision, his sharp eyes locking onto the camera.
He gave a brief nod to the PR head.
“Ready! Three, two, one–go live!”
Infinity Group’s PR team had announced the live stream a day in advance, stating that William would address the public’s recent buzz surrounding both Infinity Group and his personal life.
As soon as the stream went live, tens of thousands of viewers flooded in at once!
Luckily, the company’s network team had prepared ahead of time, ensuring a seamless and stable connection.
William’s voice was steady as he greeted the audience. “Hello, everyone. I’m William Mitchell, CEO of Infinity
Group.”
The chat exploded with messages, instantly filling the screen! As soon as William spoke, any negative or skeptical comments were drowned out
“Oh my god! Mr. Mitchell’s voice is so soothing!!!”
“How am I lucky enough to get a live stream with Mr. Mitchell himself?!”
“Excuse me, my ears are officially hooked on his voice! Is Mr. Mitchell going to take responsibility for this? If not, can he just throw some cash my way?!”
“Mr. Mitchell is so handsome! I just love him so much!!!”
Amid the flood of comments, viewers began flooding the stream with tips,
A rainbow of animated gifts filled the screen, so many that William squinted, his eyes starting to hurt. He raised a hand, his tone dry. “Excuse me, can someone grab me a pair of sunglasses?”
The PR head leaned in, speaking in a hushed tone. “What’s wrong, Mr. Mitchell?”
William pointed at the screen in front of him. “It’s too flashy.”
The PR head nodded quickly and signaled to an assistant. “Turn off the tipping. Now.”
The viewers noticed immediately that the tipping had stopped, and their reactions were a mix of amusement
and affection.
With the tips turned off, the chat continued to buzz with a variety of messages.
William’s sharp gaze skimmed through them until one comment caught his attention. It stood out like a neon sign-“Mr. Mitchell, are you really divorced? Would you ever consider marrying me?”
William’s expression hardened, and he replied with a serious tone, “No, I wouldn’t consider it.”
”
He spoke without reading the question aloud, leaving the viewers confused about what he was addressing.
The PR head quickly nudged him with a reminder via the teleprompter. “Don’t just answer questions without contexts. Stick to the main issue.”
William glanced at the screen, gave a brief nod, and responded, “Got it.”
The chat erupted with laughter. Why was William so unexpectedly charming?
