Chapter 279 Let’s Kill Her
“Let her go, you bitch!”
“Let go of her!”
Another person tried to seize Renee’s hand and drag her away, but Renee, effortlessly holding the other attacker like a delicate kitten, lifted her up and threw her toward the oncoming assailant, blocking the attack. At the same time, she twisted the woman’s wrist with a fluid motion.
“You bitch! Let me go! I swear, I’ll never let you off! I’ll make you regret this!”
Renee flashed a wicked grin and raised an eyebrow. “Still talking like this through the pain? I’m dying to see how you plan to follow through on that
threat!”
With that, she applied just a little more pressure, causing the woman’s face to twist in agony.
“Don’t back down! Let’s get her together!”
“Go! Let’s beat her up!”
“You bitch!”
The group of about a dozen people surged forward.
Despite her remarkable skill, Renee found herself somewhat overwhelmed.
No matter how fierce she fought, after dispatching several attackers, she was quickly encircled and struggled to hold her ground. Two people focused on restraining her limbs, while others took advantage of the opening to strike her. With every punch that landed, the chance for her to retaliate dwindled, and her strength began to wane.
If things went on like this, she might actually be defeated here.
In a split second, Renee reached down and pulled a small knife from her boot.
This knife was designed to inflict severe damage with a single cut, its blade reaching bone with terrifying ease. A careless strike could quickly lead to lethal bleeding.
Renee hadn’t wanted to resort to using it on ordinary people.
But given that these people were attempting to take her life, there was no room for hesitation now.
They couldn’t blame her for her ruthlessness–they had forced her hand!
Frustration nearly consumed what little rational thought Renee had left.
Just then, someone kicked her hard in the back of the knee, causing her to stumble and nearly fall to the ground. She quickly slashed at the attacker with her knife.
Blood sprayed instantly.
But Renee had controlled her strike, ensuring the blade didn’t hit bone.
The sight of blood had a powerful effect–several of the people froze, staring in shock.
“What are you waiting for? Get her! We’re taking this bitch down today!” a muscular man with a menacing glare shouted, trying to rally the group and dispel the hesitation.
“She has a knife!”
“She has hurt someone! Don’t hold back! Let’s kill her!”
The crowd roared with fury.
Renee had thought the blood would make them back off, but these people
didn’t flinch in the face of danger.
They were just ordinary people who had no clue what kind of power they were up against.
At that moment, someone shouted, “Kill her! There are too many of us; nothing will happen to us!”
At that, the remaining attackers seemed to find a surge of courage. Teeth gritted, eyes blazing with rage, they lunged at Renee once more.
Renee tightened her grip on the knife, her eyes as cold as an ice–capped lake. The blood that had splattered across her face now gave her an eerie, deadly presence.
The blade glittered in her hand, each swing leaving sharp, precise arcs in the air that forced the attackers to hesitate.
She even found a moment to sneer, her lips curling coldly. “Come on, anyone not afraid to die, step up! All of you, bring it! You can call the police now if you are too afraid. After all, that’s the only way your lives will be saved. Go ahead and call them. Maybe that way, you might suffer less!”
