Chapter 258 Going To Her
Home
Renee reviewed the dash cam footage from her car and discovered that the collision had occurred before she had even gotten in it. The incident had taken place in the hospital’s parking lot, and the person responsible
was a woman riding an electric scooter.
The dash cam had captured the woman’s appearance clearly.
After crashing into Renee’s car, the woman had noticed the damage but had simply walked away without a care.
Renee was so furious that she couldn’t help but laugh coldly. Someone like that needed to be taught a lesson,
or she would just keep repeating her shameless behavior.
Renee took a screenshot of the woman’s face and sent it out. Less than ten minutes later, her people had
already sent her all the woman’s information.
Renee immediately dialed the woman’s number.
The call rang for a while before it was picked up. A pleasant, clear voice answered it.
“Hello, who am I speaking with?”
The pleasant sound of the woman’s voice was enough to cool Renee’s temper a little. She replied, her tone calm
but firm, “Hello. I am the owner of the car with the license plate… This morning, you hit my car with your
electric scooter in the hospital parking lot. Is now a good time to discuss the repair costs?”
The woman’s tone shifted instantly, turning defensive. “What are you talking about? I never hit your car! Don’t
accuse me of something I didn’t do!”
Renee let out a soft chuckle, her tone becoming colder but still measured. “May I confirm that you’re the owner
of this phone number?”
“I—” Before the woman could finish speaking, Renee cut her off.
“You’re Valery Chapman, right?” Renee said.
There was only silence on the other end of the line.
“If that’s true, then it must have been you who hit my car. If you’re free, we can meet now and go over the
details,” Renee said.
“I… I have no idea what you’re talking about! I’ve never been to the hospital!” Valery said.
“Ms. Chapman, you—”
Before Renee could finish, the call was suddenly ended by Valery.
Renee stared at her phone, speechless. When she tried calling Valery again, she discovered her number had
been blocked.
Fury surged through Renee. That was it–she was done holding back.
Armed with Valery’s address, Renee made up her mind. She would go straight to Valery’s house and confront
her about the matter.
Renee quickly checked the details on her phone again, confirming the culprit’s address. Her rage was now barely contained.
Anyone who knew her knew that she didn’t waste time when it came to revenge. She always made sure to
settle things on the spot without delay.
And Valery’s dismissive attitude only made things worse, fanning the flames of her anger.
Starting her car, Renee headed directly for Valery’s home.
“Rosa, go ahead and knock on the door for me!” Renee ordered.
Rosa, emboldened by Renee’s authority, approached the door with a newfound confidence.
She raised her hand and struck the door with several forceful knocks.
The knocks were both firm and imposing.
In no time, hurried footsteps echoed from within the house.
“Coming, coming, who’s there?” The voice sounded alarmed by the forceful knocking.
Renee was pleased with the result and gave Rosa an approving glance. Rosa beamed with pride and knocked again, this time even louder.
Moments later, the door cracked open.
Valery peeked out from inside warily. When she saw two unfamiliar women standing on her doorstep, her initial unease eased slightly, and a flash of annoyance quickly appeared in her eyes.
“Who are you?” she asked.
