Chapter 18 Henry Took Her Home
Henry had brought women home before, so it was nothing unusual.
I didn’t pay much attention, and just glanced at 11. It was a p
a post from Aria.
The caption read: Henry said, from today on, we have a home.j
Numerous photos were attached below, including selfies of Aria and picture showing Henry’s back.
More importantly, there was a photo of a bedroom, I recognized it immediately as the bedroom Henry and I shared.
I had lived there for three years, more familiar with it than anyone he. Although the bed sheets and covers had been changed, I still recognized it.
The things I had carefully chosen were gone. Even my favorite Psyduck pillow was gone,
In its place was a pair of hugging teddy bears, the bed was covered with rose petals, and in the center, a heart shape made of may roses, with a very exquisite gift box inside the heart.
Henry had brought Aria home, prepared gifts for her, and allowed her personal items in our bedroom.
Was he planning to let Arla stay long–term?
n the past, although he brought those women home, they only stayed for one night. He never let them stay long–term.
Now he let Aria stay. Had he really fallen in love with Aria?
I gripped my phone tightly, my fingertips turning white, and my heart filled with dense pain.
I suddenly remembered, when I first married him, my father was seriously ill, and I wanted to bring him over to take care of him.
But Henry, with a cold face, said he didn’t like having outsiders at home.
So I had to rent a house for my father and went to take care of him every day.
The day my father died, there was a traffic jam on the road, and by the time I arrived, he had already passed away. I didn’t even get
to see him one last time.
Afterwards, I questioned Henry, if he had agreed to let me move out to take care of my father, I wouldn’t have missed his last
moments.
But Henry looked at me condescendingly, with an indifferent expression, “Amelia, I paid to marry you; you have to do whatever I tell you to do; you have no right to say no. It’s your retribution; don’t blame me.”
Elata saw my expression was off and asked worriedly, “Ms. Martinez, are you okay?”
I took a deep breath, trying to suppress my emotions, but the memories came flooding back, almost suffocating me.
Lforced a smile, just wanting to be alone to calm down. “Elara, you can go home now; come back to
tomorrow to tidy up.”
The computer had arrived yet, so there was nothing to do.
Elara, with tearful eyes, held onto me. “Ms. Martinez, I don’t feel comfortable leaving you here alone.”

Maybe seeing my firin attitude, Hara let go of my hand, but before loving, she kept furning back to remind me, ‘Ms. Martinez, if anything happens, you must call me.”
I nodded, saw Elars off, quickly closed the door, and couldn’t help to cry.
I clutched my phone, unable t
to resist calling Henty-
I questioned him loudly, “Henry, why did you let Arla move into our home?”
On the other end, Henry’s voice was cold and distant, “Out home? Abelia, it’s my home, I can let whoever I want live there.
“But it’s also my bedroom!” I almost shouted; every item in the bedroom was carefully chosen by me.
Before marrying Henry, I was so looking forward to having a home with him.
I happily decorated everything in the house; even though Henry was busy with work and had no time to accompany me to choose, still felt very happy.
“Your bedroom?” Henry sneered, “I just let you live there, and you really take it as yours?”
His words were like a sharp knife, stabbing into my heart, the pain almost making it hard to breathe,
店
I hit my lip hard, not letting myself make a sound, but tears foll you really have to treat me like this?”
like broken beads, dripping onto the back of my hand. “Henry, do
“What did I do to you? I’m just making you face reality.” Henry’s tone was full of disdain. “Amelia, you agreed to marry me, so all of this is your own doing.”
I indeed had insisted on marrying him back then, but I didn’t expect him to hate me so much, to the point of torturing me like this.
Henry said indifferently. “Since you understand, there’s nothing to complain about; you deserve all of this.”
I didn’t say anything, I heard Aria’s voice, “Henry, is it good? I learned to make it especially for you.”
“It’s good, anything you make is good.” Unlike his earlier coldness, Henry’s voice was very gentle when he spoke to Ariat heard the sound of a kiss, very loud, Aria must have kissed him.
Aria said shyly, “Henry, you’re on the phone? I didn’t know that; if had known, I wouldn’t have kissed you; it’s so embarrassing to let others hear. Who are you on the phone with?”
“Just someone unimportant.” Then Henry hung up, and I heard the sound of the call ending
