A Glock whipped out of wherever he concealed it brought me instantly silent when he stretched it straight at my head, the handful of people in the courtroom frantically scurried for where to duck. Alpha Nathan was beyond mad.
The chief Judge called for order but a lot had been said for anyone to want to keep calm, a lot more to be said if Alpha Nathan didn’t pull the trigger this second.
“Doing this right now will be granting you a fair exit.” Nathan chuckled bitterly, putting the gun away, “I want you stripped naked, taken around town in shame and agony before you die.”
His hardened gaze suggested there was no turning back, not even if I pleaded. And I didn’t want to plead.
“I need more space around here.” He turned towards the right exit.
The chief judge didn’t hesitate to seal this verdict. The Pack army trooped in my direction with grim faces, as though tugging a kid towards the exit, they led me out where more than a handful of furious Pack members waited for a chance to pounce on me for such boldness.
Fear crept back into my soul reminding me of how terribly this was going to hurt. The last time I ever would face and conquer pain. With gritted teeth and clenched muscles, I braced myself for what was coming.
My shackles were confirmed before they paraded through the aisle of angry people, cussing, hitting, and spitting at me.
“Syzygy Pack’s Thief!”
A feisty woman broke from the crowd straight up to me, hitting me with the staff she had in hand. The rest didn’t hesitate to join her.
With my already soiled and ripped dress being peeled off of me, I became helpless in just bra and panties, unable to cover myself from the lust shrouding the hate in the gazes of these sickening men.
At the gate of the courtroom was Evelyn, my best friend watching, dread in her big brown eyes, tears streaking her face.
“Strip this slut this second and spread those legs!”
A hoarse voice filled the air agitating some more men, a disgusting leer on his face, igniting the fear in me. “Show us those titties!”
“Take the goddamn bra off!”
Panic rose over me, Bad things were certainly going to happen to me. I could barely see or breathe with the lustful men yelling and laughing around me.
The cars approaching the courtroom darted attention away from my quivering body towards the gate of the courtroom.
Everyone in the Pack knew who they were. Their outrageously expensive cars and the power they emanated.
Alpha Nathan’s security guards whipped a few people to pave the way for the dark–haired Pack ruler to walk through to the arriving guests.
For a man who had just ruled me out in the worst way possible, Nathan looked nervous. He didn’t spare me a glance, just as he had walked out on me the day he rejected me as his fated mate, he turned his back on me.
My gaze too blurry to hold up the vision anymore, strong metallic taste of blood filled my mouth but in this moment of confusion, my wolf sought a chance to escape this fate but was too weak to break from these silver chains. Too weak to bat a lash on the floor where they left me.

With my super hearing. I could hear the sound of heavy footsteps dropping from the parked car. I could hear Nathan walk up towards them, his heartbeat thumping erratically.
The sound of their footsteps coming my way suggested I’d caught their attention.
‘Loose her and let her go!”
