Chapter 2
Jessica looked over resentfully, but seeing the thunderous expression on my sister’s face, she shrank back. “Of course, of course. Since I’ve already sold him to you, he belongs to the Boss now. The Boss can do wha-
tever she wants!”
My sister gently wiped the tears from the corner of my eye. “Of course, he’s mine.”
Jessica breathed a sigh of relief and shot Roxy a meaningful look. Roxy immediately understood and smiled at my sister. “Well, Boss, if there’s nothing else, I’ll take her to get the paperwork done?”
A cold, humorless laugh escaped my sister’s lips. “You hurt my property, sell him back to me, and you stil expect to get paid?”
Jessica’s face fell. She grabbed Roxy. “What does she mean? Is she backing out? Taking the goods withou
paying?”
Roxy was also confused. “That can’t be. The Boss never does business like that.” An idea seemed to strike her. “Boss, this woman has worked with us seven or eight times. She’s a good source. Maybe we should jus
give her the money…”
My sister pulled me into her arms. “You should be more concerned about yourself,” she said coolly. “If anyth ng happens to him, you will all die.”
Leaning against her, I felt a surge of strength from her warmth. “Sister…” I whispered.
Her face was etched with pain. She pressed a kiss to my forehead. Before she could speak, Jessica rushe
orward, screaming at me. “You little bastard, even like this you’re still trying to seduce people, aren’t you?
Boss, don’t let him fool you!”
She raised her hand to claw at me, but my sister’s driver caught her wrist in an iron grip.
I’m here now, don’t be afraid,” my sister murmured, her voice filled with anguish, her teeth grinding. “Leo.. ny little Leo…”

Hearing her call me by my name, I finally let go. She recognized me.
A wave of relief washed over me, and the world went black.
Why were you so foolish? To run away from me, only to be hurt like this…”
‘I told you, Leo. In this world, no one will ever love you as I do.”
‘Why did you leave me?”
Her hot tears fell onto my face, stinging my open wounds. I winced.
“I’m… sorry…” I mumbled.
At that moment, Roxy finally understood. Her face went ashen, and she collapsed onto the ground. “Imposs- ible… it can’t be! Boss, is he… is he the Young Master Leo?! But… but he died four years ago! Boss, this basta- rd must know some kind of black magic! He’s bewitching you, don’t believe him!”

Roxy, her mouth full of blood, could only stare in wide-eyed terror.
“The phoenix tattoo on my brother’s chest was done by our father’s own hand. It’s one of a kind. How could be mistaken?” she whispered, cradling me. “Oh, my foolish little brother. I told you, you’re too beautiful fo this world. It’s full of wicked p
