Chapter 31 Wendy Is Amazing

Wendy felt tears welling up in her eyes like a string of pearls as she read through the chat history. Once again, her vision went blurry.
‘I want to visit Wendy’s company and look around again!‘ Joshua expressed his desire through his texts.
‘Mrs. Locker said that Wendy often works overtime and forgets to eat. This is not okay!
‘Mrs. Locker also said that Wendy has gastritis, so her stomach often aches.
No worries. I will cook her a pot of nice, hearty soup and bring it to her! It will surely help ease her gastritis.

Joshua failed to meet her and was chased away by the security guard the first time he went to her
company.
So, on his second visit, he called her upon arriving at the company. But since she was in the middle of working, she was swamped and was like a bear with a sore head.
As a result, she became even grouchier when she saw Joshua coming to visit her with a soup thermos. She impatiently took the soup he brought and ordered the security guard to escort him out.
In the end, her secretary poured away the soup, which she didn’t drink.

‘Anyway, I’m going to see Wendy now. She is the boss of this company. The employees here are very respectful to her. Ha! Like me, they also know that Wendy is one of the most brilliant people in the world.”
As he walked through the corridor, Joshua snapped more photos and sent them to the chatroom. “Tom! Gwen! Check these out! What an amazing company Wendy has! The lights are so bright. Also, there are artworks and signatures everywhere. There are many dolls, too! Look! There are a lot of dolls and artwork on the employees‘ desks. We don’t have these in the orphanage. It’s freaking awesome!‘
Wendy recalled how Joshua’s eyes were sparkling the first time he entered her company.
