Besides, The police had assured them that Joshua was likely safe.Maggie and David were even less worried because of that.
On the third floor. Wendy stood at the balcony, gazing down at the lively scene in the living room.
Even though Joshua was still missing, they could still laugh.
Wendy couldn’t care about these things anymore. She took out her phone and made a call. “Hello, Hazel. You and Ofelia go to the police station to check on my brother’s case. Yes, my other brother. The police are already investigating. Just go to Tranquil Police Station. Ask them and let me know immediately if there’s any news.”
“Yes.”
After instructing her bodyguards to contact the police, she made another call to summon her secretary. She handed her phone to the secretary and asked her to crack the password.
She needed to know what kind of person Joshua really was.
Over the past four years, it seemed like she, as his elder sister, had never truly understood him.
After giving the orders, she waited for a while.
She looked at her parents and siblings, who were still enjoying themselves.
Suddenly, her phone buzzed, shattering her thoughts. “Wendy, the police have found Joshua, but…”
“But what?” Panic gripped her chest and started to breathe heavily.
“Wendy, you should come to the police station and see for yourself. Joshua is probably okay.” The female bodyguard sensed her worry and hurriedly explained.
With her heart pounding, Wendy could no longer remain still. She immediately left and drove to the police station.
Before long, she arrived, where the two female bodyguards were already waiting.
The police quickly showed them the video footage, and Wendy glanced at it. Her face froze, and her eyes
widened.
Her eyes flushed, and she covered her mouth in an instant.
“He’s at the Somerset Road market. He’s still there. You can go there to find him,” a police officer said.

She quickly left the police station without saying much. Then, she started her car and headed for the Somerset Road market.
The market was crowded with people, making it impossible to park.
Wendy had to find a parking spot first, then, along with her two female bodyguards, walked toward the market.
As a young lady from a wealthy family, Wendy had never been to a place like this before.
As soon as she entered, her head spun. Trash was everywhere, and it was messy. Dead fish and shrimp were strewn about, and flies buzzed around.
Due to the storm’s aftermath, the market was full of fallen leaves and garbage, sticky, wet, and nauseating. The smell of rotting fish filled the air, and Wendy almost gagged.
Wendy, are you okay?” one of the female bodyguards quickly asked when she noticed.
She knew Wendy had never been to such a place.
As the eldest daughter of a wealthy family, Wendy always had her food prepared by housemaids or provided by upscale supermarkets.
She had never had the chance to visit a place like this, especially one so filthy and wet. Just stepping in would make her shoes dirty.
The smell inside was unbearable. Wendy’s face turned pale, and her stomach churned, particularly from
the stench of fish. She couldn’t take it.
She hurriedly took out a tissue and covered her mouth and nose before walking further inside.
“Fresh live shrimp! Fresh crabs!”
“6.3 per 500 grams! Get them while they last, or they’ll be gone!”
“Madam, do you want 1.5 kilograms of live shrimp? Sir, do you want live shrimp? Come! They’ll be gone
soon!”
Joshua, dressed in a simple t–shirt and shorts, held a scale in his hand, weighing crabs and live shrimp for
customers.
It was probably still raining, and the storm hadn’t fully passed, so the market was very wet. Joshua’s hair and clothes were stained with some filth.
“Come! Live shrimp! Live crabs!” Joshua continued shouting to the surrounding customers, eager to sell off the remaining goods.
Wendy covered her nose and walked over.
“This lady…” Joshua glanced up and was slightly taken aback.
