Chapter Fifty–Two
“Jack, put her down, please,” I asked him. He looked at me and then at Elizabeth and
reluctantly let her down.
“I am sorry. Leon took over as soon as we smelled your scent. I couldn’t control him,” Jack apologized. He gently put his hand on her face, wiping the tears off her face with his thumb. ” If you want to reject me, I understand. I made a complete fool out of myself.”
“It is ok and no, I do not want to reject you. I understand that wolves can go nuts when they first catch the scent of their mate,” Elizabeth replied. “And there should be something you should know. I am a hybrid, a witch–werewolf hybrid. My mother is a witch and my father is a werewolf. So, I have powers and I also have a wolf. So, I understand the mate bond and stuff.”
“Well, this complicates things just a bit,” Sienna said, smiling at Elizabeth. “I am willing to let you take a couple of days, to get to know your mate. But there will be no interference from you, Beta Jack, when she returns to train the Luna. We must train her for this battle and the coming war in a few years. No distractions during training. Understood?” Jack nodded, took
Elizabeth’s hand, and left my
office.
“I am sorry, Sienna. I did not expect this. I hope this does not complicate things between my pack and your coven,” I explained to her.
“No, this is perfect. It will bring us closer, uniting us for the war,” she said. I smiled and nodded my head. We went back outside to where Tovi and the other witches were.
“Is everything ok?” Tovi asked, noticing that Elizabeth was not with us.
“Yes, baby. Everything is fine. It’s just that my cousin, Jack, has just found his mate and that would be Elizabeth,” I explained to her. Sienna smiled and the other witches gasped. “It will not hinder your training. It will slow your training with Elizabeth down for a few days.” Tovi nodded
as she understood what I meant.
I left Tovi and the witches and went back to the packhouse. I went over some paperwork while
I was waiting for the Alphas to show up that I was meeting. They are supposed to be here sometime this morning. I went over the current treaties and looked over which ones are up for
renewal. I also went over the new contracts from work, trying to get caught up from the last
week after the attack.
Alphas Carter Christen of McLoughlin Mountain Pack and Jacoby Williams of River View
Pack arrived at eleven. I welcomed them both in front of the packhouse as they pulled up.

“Alpha Carter, Alpha Jacoby, welcome. Thank you for coming on this urgent business,” I said,
shaking their hands.
“The way you sounded on the phone, Alpha Greg, I had to come,” Carter said. “Especially when
it comes to the safety of my pack.”
“Yes, same here. I do not mess around when it comes to the safety of my pack,” Jacoby said.
“Then, let’s get to my office,” I said, escorting them to my office. I linked Mrs. Cullens to bring
us some food and drinks while we have our meeting.
“So, I heard that you have finally found your mate and Luna. Congratulations,” Carter smiled at
me as he sat down in the chair.
“Thank you. You will meet her later. She is in training right now with the witches from the
Green Forest Coven. She is exceptionally special.”
“Is she the chosen one?” Jacoby asked.
“Yes, she is, and, from what I have been told, she is the strongest one that they have trained.
Hopefully, this war doesn’t last too long,” I replied.
We got to our meeting and I told them what was going on, that Paul was gathering rogues on
the western coast and in the mountains and that he had found the rogue Alpha. I explained to
them that I have teams watching the areas that they are gathering at and more are showing
up every day.
After I explained everything to them, Carter asked me a question. “So, what is it that you
want?”
“What I want is for the two of you to join in and defeat this rogue army. If they defeat me and
Pete, then they could come after you and the surrounding packs. I would like your help, along with your allies. I cannot do this alone and the victory we have will protect our packs, along
with the smaller packs around us. The attack will be happening in six months, giving us
ample time to get prepared.”
They both sat there and thought about what I asked of them. They know that if we lose, it
could affect them down the road.
“Ok, I’m in,” said Carter.
“Me, too, Jacoby agreed. A huge relief lifted off of me, knowing that two big packs were in to
defeat the rogue army. We sat through the afternoon, planning and organizing for the attack. Carter knew of some bigger packs that he could get involved in and Jacoby is a weapons

dealer and could get hold of some weapons to help defeat the rogues. It was almost six when
I received a link from Tovi, asking if we were coming to the dining room to eat or have some
food sent to my office. We decided to head to the dining room, so we could stretch our legs
and eat.
Tovi and her parents were sitting at the head table, waiting for us to walk in. Tovi stood up and
kissed me on the cheek and turned her attention to Carter and Jacoby.
“I hope that my mate is not trying to hide you two away in his office, forcing you to work the
night away,” she laughed.
“Gentlemen, I would like to introduce you to my mate, Tovi Robinson. Tovi, this is Alpha Carter
Christen of the McLoughlin Mountain Pack in Oregon and Alpha Jacoby Williams of the River View Pack in Idaho,” I introduced Tovi to Carter and Jacoby. “I have known these two since I
was little, as our fathers were best friends.”
“Oooo, and I bet there are some great stories about all of you growing up,” Tovi said, rubbing
her hands together, wanting to get the dirt on me.
“Luna, we have all sorts of stories about Greg that it would take us days to tell you,” Carter said, chuckling, shaking her hand.
“Greg here was the troublemaker whenever our fathers got together for meetings or spent time together with their families. We kept everyone on their toes when we were little,” Jacoby told Tovi, hugging her. “Welcome to the family, Luna, and if you ever need anything, let us
know.”
“Please, call me Tovi. Luna seems too formal with family and friends,” she said. “Are you two
staying the night since it is a long trip back to your packs?”
“Yes, babe, they are. I had Mrs. Cullens get a couple of rooms ready for them on our floor. They are staying for a couple of days and then back to their packs.”
Pete walked up to us, curious about our conversation. “Greg, Carter, Jacoby, I hope the three of you will behave tonight. I remember all the times you came to my pack and caused all sorts of trouble with everyone,” he expressed, with a smile on his face.
“Alpha Pete, I did not expect to see you here. We didn’t see you at the meeting. Are you here to help with the rogues?” Carter commented.
“I am here because of my beautiful daughter, Tovi. But I am also here to help Greg plan a defense against the rogues and train the warriors.”
“Wait, Pete, you said that Tovi is your daughter?” Jacoby sputtered. “We thought that Chloe

was your only daughter.”
“We had to keep Tovi a secret from my father. And if you remember how ruthless the asshole
was, especially when he found out that Lillian was my mate and pregnant with my child. So,
when we were forced to reject each other, we told my father that she had lost the baby and,
luckily, the doctor was on our side and ‘proved‘ that she had lost the pregnancy. Now, since I
am Alpha and she is now eighteen, I can claim her to the world, and I am so happy that I
finally can do that. I helped Lillian out by sending money every month and talking to her once
a month to see how she was doing. But what I didn’t know was the abuse both of them were
going through in the hands of the former Gamma of Blood Stone, Paul Gooding. His cockiness
is what got him caught, his title stripped and banished from Blood Stone. He also lost his
mate because of his abuse. Now, because of his actions, he wants to take his unnecessary
revenge on Tovi and Lillian. He is the reason we are in this predicament.”
“Greg, Pete, you will have my full support until Paul is caught and punished for his actions,”
Carter declared, same with Jacoby.
