Chapter Forty–Eight
It felt good just to get off the top floor and be with the pack members. My family and I walked to the patio, opened the doors, and breathed in the fresh air that we hadn’t had in five days. Several of the pack members came up to me and hugged me, happy to see me safe and able
to be out of the packhouse.
“LUNA!” I heard a chorus of voices, and then I was tackled to the ground by a dozen pups. I was happy to see them. Their moms came up, laughing, peeling their pups off of me.
“We’re sorry, Luna,” one of the moms said, “They are just happy to see you again.” I started to laugh and told her that it was ok, I was happy to see them again. We walked over to the area where I was having a new playground being built. The pups are excited about it, and I told them it would be done in a week. We played tag with the pups for a while, it was fun, and I was able to stretch out my legs and get some exercise. My sisters even had fun playing with them. Mother and Nana enjoyed watching us playing and laughing. Even my security team got involved. It was like life returned to the pack and everyone was smiling again. But we knew what was looming for us soon. Everyone was scared and, as I was told by Henry, Greg had increased training for everyone, including the Omegas. Deidre suggested to me to increase our supplies, especially our medical and food supplies. So, we could be prepared when the attack happens again, we are prepared. Greg called all our warriors home from the other packs, increasing patrols every ten minutes, and even placed patrols inside the pack, so we could catch any rogues that had snuck onto our land. Greg even had drills implemented, so people had time to get to the bunkers that couldn’t fight. I had ordered extra food and supplies for the bunkers, and I was told that those were placed in the bunkers. There were extra cameras installed along the border, two facing each way every twenty feet. Sensors were also installed, so if a rogue wasn’t caught on camera, their movement was caught by the sensor. The security room was enlarged, and additional staff were placed in there to watch the new cameras. We have over five thousand acres and one thousand of it are homes for our pack. I wanted to build additional apartments and houses for more members and another building to accommodate visiting warriors. We set up the elementary and high schools as a haven for our pack and enlarged both bunkers there. I am simply happy that I can start training with
Meghan soon.
Greg linked me, telling me that my father was back, and he had a bunch of people with him. Could it be the witches? I told mother that dad was back, and I was going up front to meet up with him and our new visitors. She smiled, jumped up out of her chair, and walked with me to the front of the packhouse. Three SUVS pulled up and dad got out of the first one. Mother

went up and kissed him, missing him after four days of being gone. Two women got out of the
same SUV. In the second SUV, three more women got out of the second one, and dad’s
warriors and Colton got out of the third.
“Tovi, I would like to introduce you to the witches of the Green Forest. This is the coven
mother, Sienna, along with her associates, Marguerite, Sarah, Samantha, and Elizabeth,” my dad said, pointing out each witch. “Ladies, this is my daughter, Luna of Mountain Moon, Tovi Robinson. This is my mate, Lillian.” All five witches bowed to me out of respect, as I bowed to
them.
“Ladies, welcome to Mountain Moon. Unfortunately, my father never told me that you were coming with him, or I would have rooms ready for you. Or if you would like, we have a guest house over there that is big enough for all of you and I could send my Omegas over to refresh it quickly and stock it full of snacks and drinks. So, I greatly apologize for our hospitality.”
“Luna, no need to. I have already refreshed the house and stocked it with our favorites,” the witch Elizabeth told me. My eyes got big, I could not believe that our guest had done that.
“Ok, thank you. Again, I apologize. Shall we help you with your bags and help you get settled? Dinner will be at six and all of you are our guests of honor and be sitting with us. If need
you
anything, please let me know and I will arrange it for you immediately.”
“So, you are the one your father told me about,” Sienna said, looking at me with an intense glaze. “I can already feel the power radiating off you. May I?” She took both my hands and closed her eyes. Suddenly, her eyes popped open, and she was in shock. “She is the one that will kill the demons. Her power and aura are extraordinarily strong, stronger than the last one we had, one hundred and fifty years ago. She needs to be protected at all costs!” she exclaimed, looking at the other witches.
Greg happened to walk up when she said this. “Hello ladies, I am Alpha Greg Salyers of Mountain Moon. I am sorry for my delay, but an important matter has come up. Welcome to Mountain Moon and I hope you are comfortable here during your stay.” All five witches bowed
to Greg.
“Thank you, Alpha. Your Luna has offered us the guest house and we are tired. If you could excuse us, we would like to freshen up, and I would like to have a meeting with you and the high–ranking wolves after dinner,” Sienna announced to Greg.
“Of course, Mother Sienna. I will have one of the conference rooms prepared for a meeting. I hope to see all of you at our table for dinner tonight,” Greg responded, bowing to Sienna. She bowed her head and headed to the house, with the Omegas following them with their bags.

Sienna’s POV
When I placed Tovi’s hands in mine, I could just feel the power and aura radiating off her with
such intensity. This wolf is incredibly special. I already love her aura, it is good, and she is a
good wolf, caring for others before she puts others ahead of herself. But I also sensed that
she was in extreme danger, and she needed to be protected at all costs, along with her unborn pup. Training will be difficult for the next four months, so we do not harm her or the pup. This pup will be stronger than Tovi, and she will be the one to unite all the packs, becoming an Alpha over them all.
But I sense that Tovi does not know that she is pregnant. I will not say anything tonight. I would simply suggest that she go and see the pack doctor immediately. I want her and her mate to find out on their own. With her being pregnant, she can still shift. Her wolf, Winter, can protect the pup as she shifts. I am excited about working with Tovi and teaching her to control her powers and how to use them.
We walked into the house and it was beautiful. It was huge and open, with the kitchen, dining room, and living room all in the same room. A huge fireplace ran up one wall, with a sectional and a couple of armchairs arranged around the fireplace, done in forest green and gold. The kitchen was beautiful, with white cabinets and marble countertops, with a big pantry to the side. There was a long dark wooden table with ten chairs sitting in the dining room. The floors are a dark gray wood grain. There was a master bedroom off the living room and four more rooms upstairs, with a game room.
“This is a nice place for us to stay. It was nice of Luna Tovi to offer us this house. It could give us the space and privacy that we would need, and it is right next to the packhouse,” Samantha said, placing her messenger bag on a bench next to the front door.
“Mother Sienna, where would you and the ladies like your bags?” the Omega asked me.
“Just please leave them there, and we will take care of them,” I told him. “Thank you very much for your help.”
“My pleasure, Mother Sienna. If you need anything, please let Luna know,” he said, bowing to us and leaving out the front door.
“Ok, ladies, go get refreshed, and we will meet back here by 5:45, and we will go to the packhouse,” I ordered the girls. Elizabeth looked a bit worn from using her magic to refresh the house and stocking it. I snapped my fingers and I went to the master bedroom. All my stuff had already been put away. We had a couple of hours still, so I sat on the bed and meditated for a while, recharging my powers. Training Tovi will take a lot of our magic from us, and we

will be replenishing it.
