Chapter Forty–Seven
Shelia’s POV
AFTER THE ESCAPE
I hate it here, but we have no place else to go. After Ethan got Paul and me out of the cells, we
met Teresa at the meeting point and went into the city. Ronnie had us meet him at the warehouse, instead of the house, in case we were followed. Thank Goddess we were not
followed and made it there safely.
We got to the warehouse and Ronnie was there, waiting. We pulled the car in and into an underground bunker. Perfect place to hide the car. We get out and Ronnie’s men help Paul out, with a doctor there to check over his injuries. The place was huge for it being an underground
bunker. There was room for several vehicles and a tunnel leading off it. Ronnie led us down the tunnel, with several doors on each side. We got to the end of the tunnel and the door opened into a big living area, with several doors on one side. There was a full kitchen, with a
communal bathroom to the side.
“This will be your home for a while until things cool off, or we get Mountain Moon and Ocean Bay. There is a fully stocked pantry, with a walk–in fridge and freezer over there,” Ronnie explained, pointing to the side of the kitchen. “There are several bedrooms, with a dozen bunk beds in each room. I’m sorry that this isn’t the Hilton, but it will do. There is a good possibility that there will be more rogues coming and will be bunking here. Down the tunnel that we went down, there was a place with cells, a medical facility, a security room, and additional bunks. We can bunk over four hundred rogues here. There are tables and chairs in that room to set up for meals. Shelia, when we start getting more rogues here, I will need your help to keep everything running smoothly. I will send a few people over to help when we get more wolves.”
I nodded my head and grabbed my bag, walking over to one of the bunk rooms. I opened the door and walked down the row of bunks and took the top bunk at the end. Real homie. The beds were already made, so no worries there. Teresa took the bottom bunk and Ethan took the bunk next to ours. I was getting hungry, so I went out to the kitchen and see what I could make. I grabbed some eggs and bacon and made some eggs and bacon for a late–night meal. Teresa and Ethan came out to join me, and we ate in silence.
“You know that we will have to become rogues, right?” I told both of them. “We can never go back home. Link your family and tell them goodbye and then cut ties with the pack.” They both nodded, knowing that they would never see their families again. I will never see my mom again unless she can sneak off the land to see me here. But, until the heat dies down off of us,

I won’t be able to see her for a while. But I will not stay there and face death for something I didn’t do, for something I had a right to. I will win, and that b***h will be dead soon, so I can
get my Luna title.
Paul walked into the living area a little bit later. I made him a plate and had him sit down at the table that was already set up and had him eat.
“Right now, it’s best that we all get some rest. Tomorrow will be a busy day. I have to go back to Denver and find the rogue Alpha. He has over two thousand rogues in his group, and they can help destroy Mountain Moon and Ocean Bay. Then, we will hit Blood Stone afterward,” he explained, shoving the eggs into his mouth, eating like he hadn’t eaten for days. “I suggest you get rid of your phones and get burner phones and cut your ties to Mountain Moon.”
“I already told them that we needed to cut our ties to Mountain Moon,” I told him.
“Good. Go get some rest because the next few weeks will be busy until we get enough rogues together. I also heard of a group down by the Mexican border and on the East Coast that I could get. I want as many rogues as possible,” Paul told us. He is going to destroy all three packs with his ambition.
Tovi’s POV
PRESENT DAY
It has been five days since the attack, and I am getting cabin fever. I need to get outside and breathe in the fresh air. I love spending time with my family, but I miss going out in the fresh air and talking to the pack members. Something has to give soon. Greg has been working in the spare office on our floor, so he could protect me better. If anyone wanted to talk to him, either it was through the link or phone calls. If it was urgent, then he would go to his main office. I need to talk to him about letting me go outside.
“Babe, are you busy?” I asked him when I entered his office. “I need to talk to you.” I sat down in his lap, wrapping my arms around his neck, and kissing him.
“I can take a break. What do you need to talk about?” he wrapped his arms around me.
“I need to get the hell out of here. I am starting to go stir–crazy being stuck up here. I need to get outside, get some fresh air, talk to the members,” I explained to him. “Please, let me go back outside. I can take a security team with me and have Angelica by my side everywhere I
- go. I need to do my job and quit hiding.”
He sat there for a few minutes, his thumb rubbing my arm. His eyes glazed over as he was linking with someone, and then they turned back to his beautiful blue eyes. Henry, Travis, and

Moneo walked into the office a minute later.
“You do have a point, and I’m sure that everyone is getting tired of being cooped up here. I will have the guys be your security team and they will follow you everywhere. But there will be a couple of conditions. You continue your training with Meghan and Michael, do not go anywhere near the border, and if you go to the center, your team will be quadrupled, and they stay by your side, no matter what. I do not want anything to happen to you, and we are not able to locate Paul and Shelia. If you do not abide by what I just asked of you, I will revoke everything and plant your ass right back up here. Do you understand?” he warned me. I slammed my lips to his, kissing him deeply. Then I jumped up and ran to the door.
“Thank you so much, baby! You have no idea how happy I am right now!” I squealed and ran out the door. I ran into our suite, into our room, and put some shoes on. I ran out into the kitchen and everyone was looking at me like I had lost my mind.
“What is going on, dear?” Nana asked.
“I talked to Greg, and I am allowed to go back outside! I am tired of being a prisoner in my own home!” I told her excitedly. She hugged me and I ran out the door.
“Tovi, wait!” I heard my sisters yell. “We want to come with you, too.” I knew they were tired of
being on the top floor anymore.
“Ok, but you have to stay with me and my security team. I need to check out the new remodel of my office and go talk to the pack members. I also want to check on the single mothers and see how they are doing.” I explained to them, and they agreed to stay with me. I saw mother and Nana walk out of the suite with Pete’s security team.
“We are going to the patio and enjoying some fresh air. I will link the girls to let them know
where we are at,” mother told me.
“Ok, just stay close by the packhouse and I will see you in a bit. Stay away from the border. There are still rogues scouting us, seeing what we are up to,” I warned her. She and Nana shook their heads, and we all took both elevators to the first floor.
