Chapter Forty–Five
“I just found out. When I got my Luna power last night, I increased my power and abilities.
Winter told me just a little bit ago, that I can use my ability to find Paul. So, I closed my eyes, relaxed, and focused on Paul’s face and I found him in a house, talking to a rogue by the name of Ronnie.” I told everyone.
Greg came up to me and kissed me deeply. “I believe you, baby. I knew that there was more to
you than you believed. I believe you have more. After we get them, you go to the witch coven
to find more abilities and get training on how to use them. But right now, I want you to relax
and take it easy. I don’t want you to burn yourself out too soon.”
I nodded my head, understanding what he was saying. I will have to talk to Winter later, but
right now, I am more worried about finding Paul, Shelia, Teresa, and Ethan.
Suddenly, I felt the pack bond break with three of our members. I knew who it was.
“They just broke their bond with the pack. They are officially rogues.”
“Who did that, Tovi?” Nana asked, getting ingredients together to make her cookies.
“Shelia, Teresa, and Ethan. They are no longer members of the pack.”
Everyone shook their heads but was not surprised because they were wanted for threatening
me and helping prisoners escape. I wanted to go to the crow’s nest and gather myself, taking
everything in.
“Greg, is it ok for me to go to the crow’s nest please?” I asked him.
He thought for a minute, and then he nodded his head. “I see no harm in letting you go to the crow’s nest. With all the security we have instilled on the top floor, I see no harm for
you to
to go. I will have Mrs. Cullens bring up your meals for all of you, and only she is allowed to come to
the floor.” I smiled and kissed him.
“Thank you, mate,” I said to him. “I would go crazy being locked up here all day. Also, could I
have Angelica bring up my work to the office, so I don’t fall behind?”
“Yes, dear. I don’t want you to get behind, even though I am sure that mom is willing to help you out until this matter is resolved.”
“No, I am the Luna and I want to keep up with my work. I know that your parents would like to start traveling and see the world, now that they are both retired,” I told him, with Deidre nodding her head.

Since we are cooped up in the suite for the day, I figured that I would make the best of the
matter. Siobhan, Chloe, Caitlin, and I helped my Nana make her famous chocolate chip and
peanut butter cookies. With the idea from the night before last, we shoved the furniture to the
side of the room, and we watched movies while lying on pillows and blankets, with a lot of
popcorn and drinks. Sloane even came up and hung out with all of us, enjoying the day. Mrs. Cullens brought up subs for lunch and asked what to make for dinner. I told her to bring up the ingredients for homemade pizzas, and we would make them, with everyone in mind what they
liked.
Paul’s POV
I cannot believe that the attack failed and that b***h destroyed my left eye! I am planning to
get more rogues together, and find any enemies of Greg, Pete, and Zane’s and include them in
the attack.
I was in Ronnie’s office, explaining to him that I was leaving for a few days to find some more
help. But, as I was talking to him, it felt like there was someone else in the room, but there
was only the two of us. I had to get to the airport, so I could return to Denver and find the
rogue Alpha. I have a good idea where he is at, along with a couple of thousands of rogues that would be willing to take over the biggest pack in North America. Luckily, I rented a private
jet with the pack funds that I funneled out from under Zane’s nose, close to fifty million dollars
over sixteen years I was the Gamma. With the rented private jet, I could stay out of the
terminal and not catch the eyes of any wolves that were there. I know that there is a BOLO for
myself, Shelia, Teresa, and Ethan.
Talk about those three, without them, I would still be in the cells at Mountain Moon. I owe
them my life. They all have to lie low until the attack happens again. They are currently hiding. in a warehouse across the city. After I leave and take a little bit of the heat off them when I
leave, they will be moved to the compound an hour away, to be safe until I get back.
I get into the SUV waiting for me outside, being driven to San Francisco by three of Ronnie’s
men. It would be a two–hour drive, so I put on some earbuds, listened to some music, and
closed my eyes. I need to be relaxed and focused on what is coming up.
We got to the airport with no problems. There was an SUV that followed us to the airport from the house, but I figured it was some of Greg’s men. They will not get me, not yet anyway. The SUV stopped by the plane and I jumped out. One of Ronnie’s men got my bag out of the back and loaded it onto the plane for me. I am wondering if I should have him come along. He was
big, strong, and scary–looking.
Getting on my phone, I called Ronnie. “Ronnie, is it ok that I borrow one of your men for

security and return him in a few days?”
“Yes, go ahead. Take all three of them. I want Mountain Moon and I will do almost anything for it. You are valuable to me right now with your plans and connections. I told them before you left to pack a bag because I wanted them to go with you for your protection.” Good, I have the protection I have, and I didn’t have to beg. Ronnie thinks that he is getting Mountain Moon when this is over. He can think again. I will become Alpha, with Lillian back as my mate and
my Luna.
We all loaded onto the plane and took off in half an hour. We will be landing at Boulder,
because of the simple fact that I know that Zane will have his men at the Denver airport. We
landed two hours later and got into the SUV I hired, waiting for me. We headed to Denver, to
friends of Richard’s who are rogues, where his daughter, Chelsea, has been staying. I am
getting her and taking her to California when I go back. She has a vengeance against Tovi and
would love to get back at her for getting her banished from the pack.
We pulled up to a tall building, and it was full of rogues. Perfect! I can get them to go to
California to take down Mountain Moon and Ocean Bay. I went to the top floor where Chelsea
was living and knocked on the door. Her roommate answered the door, and I asked for
Chelsea. A moment later, she walked into the entrance and squealed when she saw me. She
ran up to me and hugged me, thrilled to see me.
“Paul! I am so happy to see you! How are you, other than missing an eye?” she stated the
obvious.
“I blame that b***h, Tovi, for that. We attacked Mountain Moon last night unsuccessfully, and I
was caught by Tovi. Her wolf did this to me.” I painfully told Chelsea. “I am surprised that she
is incredibly fast and strong in the couple of weeks she has been at Mountain Moon. She
decimated a huge chunk of the rogues I assembled to attack. She moved so fast that her
victims didn’t know what hit them until she ripped their throats out. Even her warriors and
mate were fast, too, as if she instilled some kind of power over them. We need to be careful with her, neutralize her, and kill her before she destroys all the rogues.”
Chelsea had a look of shock on her face, not believing that our thorn in the side had become
strong and unbeatable. She thought over what I told her, trying to figure out some way to kill
Tovi and take over Mountain Moon.
“That worthless b***h needs to be taken care of,” she growled. “Can we inject her with
wolfsbane somehow and then torture her until she begs us to kill her.”
“She moves too fast for us to inject her. Even with a dozen rogues surrounding her, it is still

impossible to inject her with wolfsbane. She killed all of them within a matter of moments by
herself.” I told her.
“Then we get someone on the inside to help. We have someone. Your daughter, Siobhan. She
will do it. I know she hates Tovi.”
“Not anymore. She has changed since she moved to Ocean Bay. It’s like she has turned over a new leaf and started over. Siobhan looks so much happier and content, not acting like a spoiled brat like she used to be. I even think that she has found her mate, even though both are still underage to get their wolves. So, no, Siobhan will not help.” She nodded her head, thinking for a bit.
“I need you to come to California with me to fight, and convince the rogues to join us, have a new home, join a new pack, have some normalcy in their lives. I need their help. I am going to Wyoming tomorrow to find the rogue Alpha. I got some good information about where he could be. When I come back, I hope you have got the whole building convinced and everyone is ready to go as soon as I get back.”
“You are allowed to stay the night and I will order some food from a good Thai restaurant nearby. Go make yourself at home and get cleaned up. I will show you the guest room,” Chelsea said, standing to hug me and walking down the hallway.
