Chapter Forty–Four
Greg’s POV
We had a great time at the ceremony and even had more fun afterward with Tovi. We made
love most of the night, until two in the morning. I was sleeping soundly with my mate in my
arms when I was woken up by someone screaming through the link.
“PRISONERS HAVE ESCAPED! PRISONERS HAVE ESCAPED!”
f**k! I jumped out of bed, threw on some sweatpants, a T–shirt, and sneakers, and ran out the door. Tovi was following me, wearing a T–shirt and shorts. We both ran to the prison, wondering what the hell had happened. I have put a state–of–the–art security system in there,
so if a fly went in there, we would know about it.
I got to the prison and ran into the security room. There were several of my warriors in the security room, with one of the guards who looked groggy. Was he drugged?
“What the hell happened here? Why does Emil look like he was drugged? Which prisoners escaped? Where is the other guard?” I roared as I walked in.
“Sir, someone drugged Emil, knocking him out cold. Both Shelia and Paul are gone, and so is Ethan. Ethan helped them escape,” Travis answered me. I am furious!
“FIND THEM NOW!” I roared, marching out the door. I walked back to the packhouse, to the Omega wing. I knew exactly where Teresa’s room was and went straight to her room. I pounded on the door, using my Alpha command to open the door. There was no answer.
Mrs. Cullens walked out of her room, wearing a robe and her hair in rollers. “Alpha, can I help you with something?” she asked. I knew she had the extra keys to the rooms on this floor.
“Yes, you can. Could you please give me the keys to Teresa Fox and Shelia Barnes’s rooms?”
“Give me one moment,” she replied. She rushed into her room and a couple of minutes later, she walked out with a couple of keys. “Here you are, Alpha. If you need anything else, please let me know. I’m going back to bed. Good night, Alpha.”
She headed back into her room and I unlocked Teresa’s room and walked in. Her room looked like it was torn apart, with clothes thrown all over the place, and her makeup strewn all over her bathroom. Something is not right. I went to Shelia’s room. The same thing. Does Teresa have something to do with Shelia and Paul escaping? I got on the phone and I called my
trackers.

Chapter Forty–Four
“Hello?” Franco answered.
“Franco, I am sorry to call you this early in the morning, but this is very urgent. My Luna’s life is on the line. I had two prisoners escape that is a threat to her life sometime in the night and I need you and Andrea to find them as soon as possible! I will pay quadruple the rate for both of
you.”
“Of course, boss! Especially if it is a threat to your Luna’s life, we will do it for free. Just name your firstborn after me,” he replied, chuckling a bit.
“You got it. Now, you two get over here to the pack ASAP!”
“We will be there in a half hour with our team.” I hung up the phone and I took Tovi back to our
suite.
“Baby, I love you with all my heart, but for right now, I need you to stay here for a few hours until I find out what happened and where they went. I know you don’t like being told what to do, but your life is in danger and I want you to be safe. I have taken Ethan’s print scan out of our system, so if he does show up, he won’t let anyone into the suite to hurt you.” I explained to her, kissing her forehead and holding her close. It would destroy me if anything happened to
her.
“I can’t go to the library and sit in the crow’s nest?” she asked, looking at me with a sad puppy–eyed look.
“Let me see what I can do. If I have to, I will put a scanner to access our floor just so you can
be safe.” She nodded her head.
I went into our room, threw some jeans on, and headed out to the kitchen to get some coffee. Pete stopped me, with his hand on my arm.
“Greg, what is it, son? Anything I can help with?” he asked concerningly. I shook my head.
“Just protect our girl. She is in danger right now, and so is Lillian. Paul and Shelia escaped sometime in the night. I need you to keep everyone up here today until I find them. I am going to send my security team up to install a scanner for the elevator and emergency door, so Tovi can go up into the crow’s nest. I’m also going to send Henry, Travis, and Darren up here and man the hallway. I will also add additional warriors on each floor and around the packhouse. They all know to keep an eye out for those two, plus their accomplices, Ethan, and Teresa. I have my best trackers here in a half hour.” I almost broke down in tears, knowing that my mate and Luna is in danger and I felt helpless right now.
“I will protect her and Lillian. I can have a couple more of my security team outside, to help

your guys. I will send out an alert to the packs I have treaties with, to watch for all four of
them. Have someone send me pictures of all four and I will email them out.” Pete told me.
“I will, too,” Zane replied as he walked into the living room. We had everyone move into our suite as soon as we found out about the escape. I appreciate everything they are doing.
“I will have Jack send you both their pictures and I will let you know what is going on. I am
sorry for this and both of you are guests. I appreciate everything you are doing to help find
these assholes.” I shook both their hands, kissed Tovi on the lips and walked out the door.
Tovi’s POV
Just what I needed on my first official day as the Luna, the two assholes that are a threat to
my life escaped and had help from a couple of our members. I need a punching bag, but we
don’t have one up here.
“I can help, Tovi. Now, since we have our mate and Luna’s powers, we can find them. You
would have to close your eyes and focus on one of their faces. The ability would transport you
into their body for only a few minutes to get to their location,” Winter informed me.

“Why didn’t you tell me this before? Like when we woke up earlier this morning?”
bit annoyed that we could have already found them and killed them.
I asked her, a
“Because you two were stressed out and yelling at everyone. So, I wanted to wait until you
have calmed down some,” she answered.
I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I focused on Paul’s face because he was the most
recognizable to me. I felt like I was leaving my body, going through some kind of tunnel.
Suddenly, I was in Paul’s subconscious, finding out where they were.
“Damn it, Ronnie, the attack didn’t work! They were tipped off about it and had their security
and patrols increased. We lost a lot of rogues!” Paul was yelling at a rogue, sitting at a desk.
“We need more rogues to attack them again. And a new home. Luckily, I have a compound an
hour east of here. Meet me there when you get more rogues together,” the rogue told Paul.
“I’m leaving for Colorado in a couple of hours. I’m flying out of San Francisco because I know
that Greg will have eyes on the airport here. I will call when I find the rogue Alpha in Colorado.
I have an idea where he could be. I’ll be back in a few days.”
Then I was pulled out of his subconscious and back into mine. I woke up with a start, and I
looked at my dad. “Dad, I will explain later, but right now, I know where Paul is at and where he

is going. He is in the city right now, ready to leave to go to San Francisco to fly back to
Colorado to find the rogue Alpha and get the rogues here to attack us again! I need to warn
Greg!”
“Babe, get up here now! I know where Paul is! He is in the city, at a rogue’s house, getting
ready to leave for San Francisco to fly back to Colorado to talk to the rogue Alpha to get more
rogues to attack us again! His flight is leaving in two hours!” I explained to Greg through the
link.
Greg came running into the suite, looking at me like I was someone different.
‘I will explain in a few minutes. But right now, we need to get teams sent to the airport in San
Francisco and Denver. Also, if you know where the rogue house is in the city, send a team
there! We need to capture these four right away and stop this attack!” I explained to him. He
nodded and looked at both my dad and Zane.
Could both of you send teams to the airports, so we can capture Paul?” he asked my dad and
Zane.
Consider it done,” both of them said, getting on their phones.
I am sending a team right now to the city, to see if we can get the other three,” Greg said to ne worriedly. “Now, explain to me how you found out.”
Winter told me that I can transport myself into someone’s subconscious by remembering heir face. I can transport myself into their mind and find out where they are. That is how I ound out where Paul is,” I explained to everyone. They all looked at me like I was crazy, but I’m
