Chapter Forty–One
Tovi’s POV
The spa was so relaxing and refreshing, just what I needed. The massage was like I was in
heaven and the hot stones felt good on my back. We headed back to the suite after a day of pampering and food was spread out on the island. The hairdressers and make–up artists
showed up to do our hair and make–up. I wanted something simple, natural, and beautiful. I let everyone go ahead of me to get their hair and make–up done. I want to be the last one to be
ready.
It took a couple of hours before they finally got to me. I was nervous but also excited. Keisha,
the hairstylist, asked me what I wanted. I told her something simple but elegant. She smiled
and showed me a picture of what she had in mind. I loved it immediately. She curled my hair
in sections, then put my sides up, put it in a ponytail, and did a twist with it, with my hair
hanging down from the twist. It came out great! With my makeup, I told the artist that I
wanted something natural–looking and not too overpowering. She applied some foundation to
my face, spreading it evenly. Next was the powder, to help cover the shine. She applied blush
to my cheeks and gold and brown eyeshadow, with black eyeliner and mascara. Then, she
used some nude pink lipstick on my lips, and I was done.
I went to my room to get dressed. I put on the sweetheart runch A–lined dress, the pendant
jewelry Greg got me, and my silver heels. I looked in the mirror, and I could not believe it was
me standing there. Greg is going to go nuts when he sees me.
I walked out of my room, and into the living room where everyone was. I cleared my throat,
and everyone went quiet when they saw me. No one was saying anything. Did I go wrong with
something? Wrong dress? Wrong shoes? Should I have done something different with my
hair? Finally, my mother walked up to me, and grasped both my hands, with tears glistening in
her eyes.
“Tovi, you look absolutely beautiful. The most beautiful Luna I have ever seen. You will knock
Greg’s socks off when he sees you,” she said, smiling. I hugged her and thanked her. Nana
came up and kissed me on the cheek, telling me that I looked like a princess. Deidre was on
the verge of crying.
“You look so stunningly beautiful. You will make everyone go crazy when they see you. Greg won’t be able to keep his hands off of you.”
“What happened to my best friend? Tovi, you look so beautiful!” Angelica said as she hugged

- me.
“You look like a princess,” Chloe said excitedly.
“Ok ladies, are we ready to go downstairs? I just got the go–ahead from Eldermen Josiah to
bring Tovi down,” Deidre said, walking to the door. We all headed to the door and the elevators.
We are going to the second floor and then walk down the stairs to our mates. Sloane and
Siobhan looked stunning in their dresses, Sloane in a short, silver dress with spaghetti straps,
and Siobhan in a short, strapless A–lined dress. Both Bjorn and Blade’s jaws hit the floor when
they saw the girls. Mother looked stunning in a one–shoulder embellished dress and Nana
went with something simple with an empire waist. Finally, it was my turn and as I walked
down the stairs, Greg turned to look at me, and it looked like he was ready to talk me back
upstairs and have his way with me all night. He looked handsome in a dark blue dress shirt,
black tuxedo pants, and jacket. He had the first few buttons undone, his beard trimmed up,
and his long blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail, with the sides freshly shaved. I wanted to
run my hand down his shirt and feel his chest muscles. I am getting wet just looking at how
sexy he looked. He came up to me when I got to the bottom of the steps, took my hand, and
kissed the back of my hand.
“You look gorgeous! All the she wolves will be so jealous when they see how beautiful their
Luna is. I am about to take you back upstairs and have my way with you, but I can’t until after
the ceremony,” he said, kissing me on the forehead.
“By the way, I can smell your arousal. Better be careful, or we will be going to my office for a
quickie,” he whispered in my ear. I smacked him lightly on the chest, leaning my head onto his shoulder. Elderman Josiah walked up to us, bowing his head to us and we bowed to him in
return.
“Are we ready, Alpha and Luna? I will go over a passage and then recite some of the laws of the council. I will ask you some questions, Luna, and all you have to answer is I do. Any questions?” he explained to me.
“No, I am ready for this. Let’s get this done so we can celebrate with the pack,” I replied.
Josiah and Greg went out the door, to the stage, right on the patio. Henry and Travis stood by
my side, knowing that Shelia was up to something. I heard Greg making announcements to
the pack and then Josiah took over after a few minutes, making his speech.
Henry looked at me and said, “It’s time, Luna. Let’s make you our official Luna,” and held out
his arm for me to take. He escorted me out the door to the bottom of the steps. Greg was
standing there at the top, helping me up. I smiled up at him, seeing the joy in his eyes. I
walked up and took Greg’s arm as soon as I got to the top. We walked up to Josiah, bowing

our heads in respect.
“Tovi Robinson, you are here today to be sworn in as the Luna of the Mountain Moon Pack. Do you agree to follow the pack laws?”
“I do.”
Do you agree to follow the counsel laws of the werewolves?”
“I do.”
“Do you agree to care and protect your pack and its members, regarding any personal vendetta you have towards any of the members?”
“I do.”
“Tovi Robinson, please give me your right hand.” I gave him my right hand and I felt a sharp
pain when he cut a slit into my hand. He did the same to Greg.
“Tovi Robinson, I here now announce that you are officially the Luna of Mountain Moon!”
Suddenly, I felt a strong surge of power go through me and a glow that surrounded me. Everyone was in awe of my new aura surrounding me and making its presence. I also felt stronger than I had before. Is a Luna supposed to be stronger than before? Greg picked me up and passionately kissed me, thrilled that I was officially the Luna. The whole pack cheered as I walked to the edge of the stage, happy that everyone could make it and wasn’t on patrol or security. I walked down the stairs and into the crowd, thanking everyone, giving hugs, and
shaking hands.
“So, you really think that you deserve this role, b***h? You won’t have it for too long.” I recognized that voice and I turned around, right into Shelia’s face.
“You must really want a death wish, especially threatening the Luna of this pack, and that would be me,” I growled at her.
“Nah honey, but your death will be coming soon,” she said, smiling at me. Henry and Travis were standing right behind Greg and me, and I motioned them to come near.
“Boys, take this b***h to the cells for threatening the Luna,” I told them both. As soon as they got their hands on her, someone was yelling through the link.
“ROGUE ATTACK! ROGUE ATTACK! EVERYONE, GET TO THE BUNKERS NOW!”
Greg grabbed me and handed me to Pete. “Get upstairs with your family and the other Alphas right now! I need you to be safe! Henry, Travis, get that b***h to the cells as soon as possible and then get to the top floor to protect Tovi and the visiting Alphas!” he demanded.

“WAIT!” I yelled. “Let me come with you! I can help! Let me help protect our pack and kill these
fuckers that decided to attack our home!” He looked at me, while I held my determination and
pose.
He nodded his head, knowing that I would not take no for an answer, especially right now.
“Fine! But you stay close to me! Nick, Oscar, you stay very close to her and do not allow her to leave your sight! If she gets hurt, I’ll have both your heads!” He growled at both; they nodded
their heads in agreement. I hugged mother, father, and Nana quickly, telling them to get upstairs. I took off my dress, not wanting to shred it when I shifted.
“Ready for this, Winter?”
“Let’s get these fuckers! And now that we are a Luna, our powers are a lot stronger, and they
will help us in this fight!” she growled, ready to shift.
I shifted into Winter, with Greg turning into Deacon, and Nick and Oscar turning into their
wolves.
“Stay close to me, Nick, and Oscar, Tovi. Do not let your guard down! Ripping their throats out
is the best way to kill them!” Greg linked me and turned to the southern border. The four of us ran for about five minutes before I got a whiff of rogues nearby.
