Chapter Thirty–Five
Shelia’s POV
I got a text message from a friend of mine in the pack that Alpha Greg is coming to the city
without that b***h and staying at the penthouse. This is perfect. I can go and seduce him and
make him mine. My rogue friends have some wolfsbane and silver at their house to slow
Greg’s wolf, Deacon, down, along with some hallucinating drugs that would cause Greg to
think that I am Tovi. I must just get into the penthouse, which would be easy because all
members have access to it. I must subdue his security and put my plan into motion. I hope
that b***h suffers from the pain of me sleeping with her mate and his rejection when he
marks me. This plan will work perfectly. He will be in town tonight and tomorrow night. I will
get him tomorrow night before he heads home.
Tovi’s POV
Angelica and I are moping around, with both our mates being gone for a couple of days. I have
everything caught up and Deidre and mother are getting the ceremony ready. The backyard
has been transformed into rows of chairs, a dance floor, a stage, and tables set up around the
food and everyone to eat at. Deidre has put up paper on the windows to prevent me from seeing the rest of it. She wanted it to be a surprise. I couldn’t go to lounge next to the pool, so I asked Angelica and Henry if we could go up to the reservoir and just lounge around. We have a spot that is privately owned and has no public access. They both agreed. I even asked
Sloane if she wanted to go, and she said yes. I saw Siobhan sitting in the common room, watching TV, looking bored.
“Siobhan, want to go to the reservoir for the day while mother is helping Deidre? We have a cabin there with a boat dock. Figured we could go swimming and have a cookout.” I asked her
as I walked up to her.
“Are you sure?” she asked me.
“Absolutely. Get dressed and bring some clothes for the night. We need to mend our
relationship, and this would be a great start.” She shook her head and headed upstairs to get changed and grab some clothes.
“Henry, could you get a security detail together, who you trust, and bring your mate, Georgia. I’m sure that she would love to come and have some fun, too.” He smiled when I mentioned
his mate and his eyes glazed over.
“She said that she would love to come and be here in a half hour. I have got five more warriors

to go with us to protect you because if something happens to you while we are there, the boss
will have my head,” he shuddered at the thought. I smiled and headed up to the suite. Siobhan
was running around, getting everything together. I went and put on a bikini with a cover–up. I
grabbed some clothes for tomorrow and placed them in a bag.
“Tovi, do you have any sunscreen?” Siobhan asked me. I went into the bathroom and grabbed
some out of the cabinet, handing it to her to place in our beach bag. I linked Mrs. Cullens,
asking about food. She told me that the cabin is always stocked, but she will send someone
up to check before we leave. The cabin is only a half hour away.
We went downstairs and everyone was waiting for us. I just realized something; this will be a girl’s day out and a fantastic way to get to know Sloane and Georgia. We loaded up into two SUVS. Me, Angelica, Siobhan, and Georgia loaded up in the first one and the warriors loaded up in the second, with our bags and some extra food. The drive was nice and pleasant, some of us were talking about our mates. Siobhan was turning red from embarrassment because
she was too young for one yet. She has just over three years yet.
“Tovi, is there a way that you know that you have met your mate, even though you don’t have
your wolf?” Siobhan asked us.
“If the connection is strong enough, yes, you can,” Georgia replied. “It has happened to my brother and his mate. Growing up, they were close and inseparable. When they both turned eighteen and got their wolves, they both found out that they were mates.”
I smiled at my sister. “So, who is the lucky guy?”
“You promised not to be mad, Tovi?” she asked, looking down at her hands, twisting them
nervously.
I took her hand and held it in mine. “I want us to have an open relationship and be able to tell each other anything, be there for each other.” She nodded and took a deep breath.
“It would be your brother, Blade, the future Alpha at Ocean Bay. We have been glued to each other’s sides since I moved to the pack. He even gets jealous of other male wolves touching me, even though it is an innocent touch like a hug or high five. He even gets like that with your other brother, Colton, “she was explaining to me, with tears in her eyes, scared that I would react badly to what she told me.
“Sweetie, he is your mate, by the way, he is acting,” Georgia explained. “Does he know?”
Siobhan shrugged her shoulders. “I don’t know, but I think he does. We are together all the time when he isn’t in his training with Pete and on the training grounds. We have even fallen asleep on my bed, watching TV. I feel so calm and safe when he is around. I just hope he

doesn’t reject me when I turn eighteen.”
“If he is smart, he won’t reject you. The way he is acting, I don’t believe that he would,” I
reassured her.
We got to the cabin, and it was huge! It is a two–story log cabin, with huge windows. There is a wrap–around deck, with a path to the dock, with two boats sitting there. We stopped and got out. Henry went up to unlock the door and he and another warrior did a quick sweep through, making sure it was safe. He came back out ten minutes later, saying it was clear. So, we went
- in. Inside, it was an open concept with a living room, kitchen, and dining room. There is a
stone fireplace that goes up the wall, wood plank flooring, and a big, comfortable sectional in
gray, with two matching chaise chairs. A big TV screen hung above the fireplace. In the kitchen, some cabinets matched with logs of the cabin, with tan tiles on the backsplash and granite countertops. There was a big island in the middle that could seat eight people. There
were stainless steel appliances throughout. There was a beautiful view of the reservoir from
the kitchen and dining room. There is a master bedroom off the kitchen, with a beautiful white marble bathroom, with a jacuzzi tub and a big shower.
The upstairs has four more bedrooms, with two bathrooms. There is a family room up there, too, with a huge sectional and a flat–screen TV. There is a foosball and pool table to the side.
Outside, there is a nice patio, with an outdoor kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with a fire pit, too. There is also a hot tub at the side of the patio. A walkway went from the patio to the dock, with a seating area and a small beach to the side. This is perfect.
I took the master bedroom, while everyone else took the bedrooms upstairs. Henry and a
warrior, Darren, put the groceries away that we brought with us. I figured that I would make steaks on the grill with a pasta salad and grilled veggies for dinner. All of us girls changed into our swimsuits, and we walked to the beach. It was peaceful and we enjoyed the sun and beach. It was around six before we went back to the cabin. I jumped into the shower, washing off the sand and sunscreen. I threw on sports shorts and a tank top and went to the kitchen to start dinner. I started the water for the pasta salad and started to cut the cheese, tomatoes, pepperoni, peppers, and olives for the salad. The girls came in and helped me get everything prepared. When the pasta was ready, I mixed it in with the stuff we prepped and placed the bowl in the fridge. Sloane had all the vegetables ready for me for the grill. I went out and started the grill, letting it warm up. Georgia and Siobhan went and set the patio table, with citronella candles to keep the bugs away, and lit Tiki torches around the patio. I placed the veggie packet on the grill and went in to prep the steaks. I made enough for all of us, including the warriors; ten steaks in total.
About fifteen minutes later, I placed the steaks on the grill, letting them cook while the veggies

were cooking. Sloane got a couple of bottles of wine for us over eighteen and got Siobhan
some sparkling apple juice to drink. Dinner was done, and I placed everything on the island in
the outdoor kitchen and everyone filled their plates up with food. Two of the warriors ate their
food quickly, then went to relieve the other two so they could eat. Henry and Darren ate and
went on their patrol. Henry kissed Georgia and walked into the night. Darren oversees
watching the house tonight, with the two going in to get some sleep so they can rotate later
with Henry and Brian at one.
After dinner, we all got the dishes washed up and the table cleaned. We went and sat around
the fire pit, enjoying each other’s company. It was around midnight before we went to bed. I
was tired and relaxed, but I was missing Greg something terrible. I decided to call him.
The phone rang, and he answered it on the first ring. “Hi baby,” he says. “What are you doing
up this late?”
“I decided that I wanted to go to the reservoir. So, I brought Angelica, Sloane, Siobhan, and
Henry’s mate, Georgia, with me. I had to get out of the house because I was miserable without
you at home,” I explained to him.
“Sounds like fun. Do you have a security team with you?” he asked.
“Yes, baby. Henry arranged it before we left the packhouse. It is him and five others that are here with us. I figured since Henry would be here with me, I told him to invite his mate. He has
been professional with her around when it is his time for patrol. She is not distracting him at all,” I explained. “I even gave him two hours off to spend time with Georgia, so I wouldn’t be hogging him the entire time while we are here.”
“That was nice of you to do. Georgia is a sweetheart, and you would love her. When I had to go out of town for business, I sometimes let Henry bring her along. I even gave him my card to take her out shopping and a wonderful place for dinner. I try my best not to interfere with the mate bond too much and allow one of my security detail to bring their mate,” he said. “I am going to get off here and go to bed. I have a meeting in the morning, and I was finishing some last–minute things. I love you and I will see you the day after tomorrow. I love you, baby.”
“I love you, too. Talk to you later,” I replied and hung up. I laid down and I was out.
