Chapter Thirty–One
Pete’s POV
I am the happiest wolf in the world right now! I got my fated mate back after eighteen years,
because of my father. He will be pissed when I bring her back, but he will have to get over it. I
am starting to miss home and my two sons, Blade and Colton, and daughter, Chloe, whom I
had with my chosen mate, Erica. She died a year ago from a rogue attack and my wolf, Ronin,
has been hurting since then. When we found Lillian and found out that she rejected her
second chance mate because of the way he treated Tovi and some of the Omegas in the pack,
Ronin was thrilled. He wanted his mate back, as did I.
We were going to wait a week before we went back to Ocean Bay, but Bjorn’s ceremony got
pushed back a month to give him some time to get training with Mountain Moon’s Gamma,
Jason. So, we, along with Siobhan, headed home to Ocean Bay.
Siobhan has been quiet since she received her punishment. She was more mature than
Chelsea about it and took it very well. Lillian and Bjorn had noticed a change in her, too. With
her father gone, she had done a complete one–eighty and started to treat people with more respect. I might give her Gamma title back when she turns eighteen if she behaves.
After the rogue attack, a few days ago, my warriors and trackers arrived. With Mountain Moon and Ocean Bay’s warriors, the pack doubled in size. Zane was thrilled with the extra help and was ready for another attack. My lead Delta, and lead warrior, Kaiden, came to help train and set up schedules for patrols and extra security, with the help of Bjorn and Gamma Jason. My trackers have found a couple of good leads on where the rogues could be. Greg said to call him as soon as we find a definite location, and he would send more warriors to help kill them.
The day finally came for us to go to Ocean Bay. My Beta, Damien, has been taking care of the pack in my absence and is ready to hand it back to me. We loaded up my rented SUV with the girls‘ stuff, and they were saying goodbye to everyone. Siobhan went through her stuff and got rid of a lot of it, giving it to the girls her age that could use it better. I will take them both shopping when they get settled in the pack.
I contacted my mother and told her about Lillian. She was thrilled that we were back together. Mother loved Lillian when she lived there at the pack and was even more thrilled that she had a granddaughter who would become a Luna at Mountain Moon. Mother has started to plan Lillian’s Luna ceremony, but we are having it after Tovi’s, so it could be a special day for my daughter. Lillian wants to go to Mountain Moon as soon as we get home, to see her daughter and help plan the Luna ceremony. I told her she was allowed to go there anytime she wanted,

so that made her happy.
“Are you ladies ready?” I asked them both, as I shut the back door to the SUV.
“Yes, dear, I am. I am ready to go home and see my mother after all these years,” my mate
said excitedly. “Siobhan, you will love it there. There are beaches, shopping is an hour away in
San Francisco, and maybe your mate will be there when you turn eighteen.”
“I know I f****d up, mother and Pete, and I am ready for a fresh start. I will do my best to
change from being a little spoiled b***h to someone that you both will be proud of,” she said
humbly. I know this is rough on her, losing her father and her home within a few days.
“You will love it there. Ocean Bay is beautiful, and we have lots of things for you to do. But
since you will be fifteen in a couple of months, you will start training when you do. It is our law,
“I explained to her.
“That is fine. Those damn rogues killed my best friend, and I want to learn to fight to protect
the pack, my family, and the pack,” she said, hugging Caitlin and placing her travel bag into
the SUV.
I said goodbye to Zane, Morgan, and everyone else and got into the SUV. My three warriors
piled into the SUV, and we headed to the airport. When we got there, Siobhan’s eyes bulged out
when she saw the private jet.
“This is yours?” she asked, in awe. “It is beautiful! Do you take it everywhere?”
“Yes, I do. No security checks, no rude passengers, and I get to relax and have some peace and quiet.”
“Cool.” The warriors loaded up our luggage into the cargo bay and we boarded the plane. I
introduced Lillian and Siobhan to the captain and the flight attendant, Charles, and Gracie.
They said hello and shook hands. I took my normal seat, in the middle of the plane with four
bucket seats and a table. Lillian sat next to me and Siobhan sat on the couch, curling up into
a ball.
“Alpha, would you like something to drink? Miss Lillian? Miss Siobhan?” Gracie asked us as
we were waiting to take off.
“I will take my usual whiskey,” I answered.
“Coffee please, with sugar and cream.”
“Could I please have an apple juice?” Siobhan asked, placing her earplugs to listen to music.
“I’ll bring them out once we are in the air,” Gracie answered and walked away. She asked my

warriors the same thing, and all three said water.
We were in the air a half hour later, and Siobhan was getting sleepy.
“There is a bedroom in the back. There are two of them. You can go and lay down for an hour
until we are getting ready to land,” I pointed out to Siobhan. “That way you are comfortable
and have some space to stretch out.”
“I am good, but thank you for the offer. Next time,” she said, watching a movie on her phone.
I shrugged my shoulders and looked over some work for our company. Lillian curled up next to
me and fell asleep. I loved being back next to her, being able to take in her scent of raspberries
and chocolate. I missed that scent. Erica thought that raspberries and chocolate were my
favorite dessert, so she had it made for me all the time. Every time she did, it would remind
me of Lillian.
Forty–five minutes later, Charles announced that we would be landing shortly and to buckle
our seat belts. When we landed and went to our hangar, Blade was standing there next to the
SUVs, waiting to greet us.
“Dad, it’s good to see you and that we were not hurt in the rogue attack,” he said, hugging me. Blade looked almost identical to Tovi, but taller and more muscular. “How was the trip and
where is my big sister?” He was looking behind me, hoping to meet Tovi.
“She is in Mountain Moon. She was mated to Alpha Greg, so we will be Luna of the pack. We are going over there next week for her Luna ceremony. You can meet her then.” I could see the disappointment in his eyes, as he and Colton were both excited to find out that they had an older sister at Blood Stone. Blade will be eighteen in six months and Colton will be seventeen
in a year.
We got the SUVS loaded, and we headed to Ocean Bay. I am anxious to see how things are going, and I hope that Siobhan can get along with her stepsiblings, Blade, and Colton, and my daughter, Chloe. The drive was pleasant, with Blade engaging in a conversation with Siobhan, getting to know her, and saying that he would include her in his group of friends. I looked at Lillian and we both smiled at each other. This could do well for our new family.
We finally pulled up to the gates and the guards let us through. Ocean Bay sits right on the ocean, in a little bay that protects the pack from the waves and storms that we get in the winter. The kids love to go to the beach and surf, so I am hoping that Siobhan will be able to pick up surfing pretty quickly.
“Siobhan, have you ever surfed before?” Blade asked her.

“No, I never have. Is it hard?” she replied, with curiosity in her eyes.
“The worst part about learning is standing up and keeping your balance,” Lillian told her. “Just
don’t get discouraged. It will take some time. It has been a while since I surfed.” Siobhan
looked at her mother with a shock on her face.
“You used to surf, mother?”
“Yes, I did, when I used to live here. Then I moved to Colorado, had Tovi, and met and married your father. We would never vacation on the ocean because your dad hated the ocean. He would never give me a reason why, so we would never go,” Lillian answered.
We pulled up to the packhouse and there was a big crowd. I saw my Beta, Gamma, Colton, Chloe, Mary, Lillian’s mother, and several other people. This was a welcome home that Lillian needed.
