Chapter Twenty–four
We pulled up to the front door, and there was a crowd. An older woman and a younger woman were standing there to greet us. I take it that the older woman is his mom, but who is the other woman? Greg saw my curiosity and pointed out that it was his mom, Deidre, and his cousin, Sloane, Jack’s sister. Ok, that would make sense. There were also five other guys standing
behind them.
The SUV stopped and Greg opened the door, gave me his hand, and helped me out. His mom came running up to us, first hugged Greg, and then turned to look at me.
“She is stunning, son,” she said admirably. “I am Greg’s mom, Deidre, and I am so thrilled that my son finally found his mate! I have the suite ready for both of you and when you are ready, I will show you around and introduce you to the pack members.” She hugged me as she told me
all this.
“Hi, I am Sloane, Greg’s cousin, and Jack’s sister,” said the blonde woman as she hugged me. I am happy that my cousin finally found his mate and Luna! I was hoping my brother would find his mate, but he wasn’t lucky on this trip.” She was looking at her brother when she said that. “But now, I have someone to go shopping with now!” she giggled.
“I am Tovi and that is Angelica, my best friend, and Moneo’s mate,” I introduced us to Deidre
and Sloane. They both went up and hugged Angelica and welcomed her to the pack.
“These are my Deltas, Tovi,” Greg introduced them to me. “This is my head Delta, Mathew, and his brother Michael. Then there is Mason, Mark, and Micah. They are all brothers and the best damn fighters that I have. Their father, Franklin, was my dad’s Delta, so I felt it was fitting to
name all five of his sons as Deltas.”
“Welcome, Luna,” each of them said as they came up to me, bowing their heads and shaking my hand.
“Then this is Mrs. Cullens. She is our head Omega and a great cook!” Greg introduced me to
an older lady with salt–and–pepper hair and deep brown eyes, with his arm around her
shoulder. “She has been around since I was a pup. Whatever you want to eat, she will make it
for you.” She swatted him with her hand,
“Don’t pay any attention to him, dear,” she huffed. “He was the biggest troublemaker in the
pack by stealing my cookies whenever I made some.” I giggled and he hugged her.
“Well, to let you know, Mrs. Cullens, I love to cook, so please do not kick me out of the kitchen
when I want to help with the meals,” I hugged her. She smiled at me.

“That’s good, and you are welcome any time in the kitchen,” she said.
We finally went inside, and it was beautiful. The hallway had marble floors and walls, with a crystal and gold chandelier and a huge mirror. Some stairs were split in two with a small hallway that went under them. There were a couple of elevators on the other side of the stairs, which was good because I did not want to climb six stories of stairs. Deidre showed me where the dining room and kitchen were. They went past the elevators and to the left. To the right was the common area and down the hallway was the theater room. Down the hallway past the kitchen and dining room was the huge pantry with the coolers and freezers and the laundry room. There were patio doors to go outside in the common area, the end of the hallway, and the dining room. We loaded up in the elevator and went to the sixth floor. We
walked to the double doors, and Greg scanned his thumbprint to enter our end of the wing.
That was neat as hell.
“The high–ranking wings are like that, so that way no one tries to attack us in our suites,” he explained. “Plus, the doors are steel–reinforced so we can hide pack members in here if there
is an attack. Plus, there are two more bunkers down in the basement and several more
throughout the pack, so the women, pups, and the older wolves who are too old to fight have somewhere safe to go. We are safe in case, and the last attack we had was two years ago. But with the increase in rogue attacks, it will be a matter of time before they start showing up
here.”
We walked into the wing, and right into the living room, kitchen, and a small dining room where would ten people sit comfortably. There were floor–to–ceiling windows in the living room,
allowing natural light into the wing. The kitchen had black cabinets with white marble
countertops, with stainless steel appliances. There was an island in the middle of the kitchen.
There was a hallway between the kitchen and dining room that went to the bedrooms. There
were three rooms on each side of the hallway, and the suite was at the end of the hallway, with
double doors opening into a huge bedroom, with a king–sized bed in the middle of the room,
with a dusty blue comforter. There were floor–to–ceiling windows on both sides, with a balcony
on one side. A sitting area with a matching, dusty blue sofa and a loveseat with a TV was in
one corner. There were two doors next to the bed, one on each side. One opened a huge
walk–in closet, half full of his clothes. There was an island in the middle of the closet, with
drawers for underclothes, ties, and jewelry. There was a wall of shelves for shoes and clothes
at the end of the closet.
The other door opened onto a massive bathroom. Twin sinks with white marble countertops,
with a vanity in the middle. There was a huge jacuzzi tub in the back, in front of a huge picture
window that overlooked the woods. The shower was huge, with three showerheads on the top
and thinner heads on the sides. There was a bench in the middle of the wall and a glass wall

that divided the shower from the rest of the bathroom. All the fixtures were gold–plated, and the rest of the bathroom had white marble floors, and the shower was done in dark gray tiling. I was in a daze about all the beauty of the suite. I cannot believe that this is ours to use.
I walked back out to the living room, where Greg and Deidre were. A couple of warriors and a couple of Omegas came in with our luggage, taking them back to our room. The warriors walked back out, bowing their heads. The Omegas stayed to put our stuff away. I walked back
to our room, to the closet.
“You don’t have to do that,” I told the Omegas. “I can do that myself.” They bowed their heads,
“We’re sorry, Luna,” one said shyly. “We are just doing our job. We will be quick and get out of
your way.” They quickly put everything away efficiently and neatly and left the suite.
“I will let you two freshen up,” Deidre said. “Please be downstairs in an hour and a half for the
party and get you and Angelica to become members of our pack so we can be connected
through the mind link.” I thanked her and hugged her before she left.
“This place is massive!” I exclaimed to Greg. “I think I would get lost in here!” He chuckled at
me, wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing me.
“That will not happen,” he smiled. “It is self–explanatory. Come, let me show you the other side.
”
He led me out the doors, across the hallway, and through another set of doors. There were a
couple more bedrooms to the left and two smaller offices to the right.
“We use the bedrooms for visiting Alphas and those offices are what we use when we are up
here to finish some work, or we want some privacy,” he explained. “Down here is the library,
stocked full of books. There are a couple of shelves for you that fill up with whatever books
you would like and can’t find in the library.” I walked around the library, taking in the
floor–to–ceiling shelves, with a balcony that wrapped around the shelves on the outer walls.
Windows throughout to make it homey and inviting. There was a set of spiral staircase that
went up to look like a crow’s nest. I looked at Greg and ran up the staircase to see what it was
like up there.
The view from there was breathtaking. We could see the entire pack, woods, and the Sierra
Mountains. I can see myself enjoying my mornings here, watching the sunrise, and if I have time, watching the sunset. There was a curved, mahogany–colored leather couch and matching armchairs sitting there. A coffee table sat in the middle of the room and a table with a lamp was between the armchairs.
“Beautiful, isn’t it,” Greg said as he came up the stairs. “I love coming up here quite a bit when
things are calm with the pack and the businesses. This can become your spot, too, if you
want. We can even have a coffee machine brought up so you can sit and have coffee in the

mornings.”
He is the best! “I would love that!” I said excitedly. “Just need a few throw blankets and
pillows, and it will be perfect.”
He smiled at me. “Good, but let’s get you and Angelica down to the security room and get your
thumbprints scanned so you can enter the suite and your office. Angelica will have exclusive
access to both since she is your best friend, and I figured I would make her your assistant to
help you manage the pack.” I got excited. I will be collaborating with Angelica; she is highly
organized and can get projects together smoothly. She has helped with numerous events at
Blood Stone and got them to go off without a hitch.
We took the elevator to the basement, where security is. Since I am the Luna, I will have exclusive access to everything in the pack. Simon, the warrior who oversees security, scanned both my thumbprint and my eye retina for access.

I’m jealous of the packhouse, especially the library!
