Chapter Twenty
Tovi’s POV
I can sense that Greg is going to be a good mate. He had been there for me when my father told me about my identity, helping me calm myself with all the latest information that I had received lately.
When I came back from the cave, he came up to me, allowing me to take in his scent and holding me while I could calm myself. He made sure that I got something to eat, which I was starving when I walked into the dining room.
When we got to my room, he ran a bath for me. When he was done, I walked into the bathroom, gasping at the candles he lit and the bathtub full of bubbles. I left the door open, so he could watch me as I got undressed. I could see that he was squirming, wanting to touch me all over. I slipped my T–shirt off over my head and then slid my shorts off. I was standing there in my bra and panties. I took both off, looking at him in the eyes. He licked his lips,
pleasure radiating from his eyes. I got into the bathtub, leaning back to relax. The water was
nice and hot.
Greg came into the bathroom, went to the shower, and grabbed my shampoo, conditioner, and
body wash, bringing them over.
“Lean forward a bit,” he ordered. I did as he asked. He grabbed the handheld shower sitting on
top of the faucet, turned the water on, and started to get my hair wet. He went and washed my
hair, massaging my head gently. I moaned a bit, as it was feeling too good. He gently rinsed
my hair, trying to keep the suds out of my face. Then he gently worked the conditioner into my
hair, starting from the ends, and working it in up to my scalp. Rinsing the conditioner out of
my hair, he went to wash my body. Greg was gentle as he ran the washcloth over my body,
making sure that every part of me was clean.
When he was done, he whispered in my ear, “Relax, my love. I will be back to help you out.”
After placing a towel behind my head so I was more comfortable, he walked out. I relaxed in
the bathtub for a half hour, feeling tired from the run I had in my wolf form and having a belly
full of food. Just as I was going to get myself out, Greg walked back in, grabbed a towel,
helped me stand up, and wrapped the towel around me. As soon as I stepped out, he started to dry me. Then he grabbed another towel, wrapping it around my hair. I slipped on a robe and
went to brush my teeth.
I went to take my hair out of the towel, so I could dry it and get ready for bed. He came up behind me, asking where my dryer and brush were. I pointed to the drawer on the right side of

the sink. He got them out, pointing to the stool at my vanity for me to sit. I sat down, and he started to dry my hair, brushing it slowly so it would not get tangled. It took several minutes to do because my hair was down to the middle of my back.
He helped me get my nightie on and then picked me up, carrying me to bed. He had already turned the bed down when I was in the bathtub. Gently, he laid me down, covered me up, and told me that he would be back. He walked back to the bathroom; I assume to get ready for bed. I heard the shower turned on, so I rolled over, got comfortable, and fell asleep.
Greg’s POV
It took everything in me not to take her after I laid her down in bed. Tovi looked exhausted, and
with the pampering I gave her, she was ready for bed. I went to the bathroom to take a quick shower and clean the bathtub up a bit.
I walked back into the bedroom, hearing the gentle sounds of snoring. I walked up to the bed and saw that she was fast asleep. I chuckled a little, went to put some shorts on, turned off the light, and crawled into bed carefully so I wouldn’t wake her up. I snuggled up to her, placing my arm around her. She rolled over and snuggled up to my chest. I took a deep breath to
inhale her scent, and I was fast asleep.
I woke up the next morning, and I was alone in bed. I got out of bed and headed to the
bathroom. She was not in there. I began to worry, wondering where she could be at. Before I
could throw a T–shirt on, the bedroom door opened, and she walked in, pushing a cart full of
food. I breathed relief, went to her, wrapped my arms around her, and placed my head on her
neck. She giggled as I did that.
“What is it, mate?” she asked me. “Did you think that I ran away or got kidnapped?” I shook
my head yes. “I went down to get some breakfast this morning. I didn’t want to bother Mrs.
Smith or the other Omegas. Besides, I missed cooking and wanted to make you something.”
She lifted the covers, and Belgium waffles, sausage, bacon, and eggs were under them. My
stomach growled as soon as I saw the food. We both chuckled and sat down on the sofa,
enjoying the food. She brought coffee and juice for us to drink.
“Are you ready to go shopping for tomorrow night?” I asked her.
“I already have something in my closet. I fell in love with it when I tried it on a couple of weeks
ago. Luna insisted that I get it, saying that I may need it soon. I’m glad that I got it,” she
explained to me. “But I do need shoes and accessories to go with the dress.”
“That is fine. Like I said last night, you are allowed to do as much damage to my bank account as you want,” I smiled, and she blushed. We ate our breakfast and got ready. She had linked
her mother and Angelica, telling them that we were leaving in an hour to go shopping.

“Forewarn you, Angelica is on her way to my room now, all excited, Tovi managed to say before Angelica came running into the room, telling us to hurry up. Damn, that girl is impatient. I pointed towards the door and told her to go. Tovi laughed and walked out with Angelica, leaving me standing there shaking my head at them. Today is going to be interesting and fun.
We got to the SUV; Jack, Jason, and Lillian were waiting for us. Caitlin walked out the door, asking if there was room for one more. Tovi looked at me with pleading eyes and I nodded. Oh boy, three teenagers going shopping. This will be interesting.
Zane walked out and smacked me on the shoulder, with a smile on his face.
“Alpha, I hope you will enjoy today. Caitlin has my card, and my warriors will follow in another car. That way you have the security you need for three young, beautiful women. Have fun and see you this evening,” he gleefully said.
The girls, Jack, Jason, and I piled in one SUV, and Lillian and mine and Zane’s warriors piled into the other SUV. We drove an hour to the mall; the girls were excited about having a
shopping spree.
I took Tovi to the jewelry store first, to get her something to go with her dress. She was in awe of all the diverse types of jewelry. She stopped in her tracks, staring at a necklace. It was simple, a bean design that was made from green jade.
“This one is perfect for my dress,” she said in awe. We also found matching earrings for her, too. I also bought her a circle pendant diamond necklace in platinum and yellow gold, with matching earrings. She protested about the cost, and I told her that the cost did not matter to me if she loved it. We left the store and went to the other stores. Angelica was having fun, getting new clothes and shoes. We got to the lingerie store, I handed Tovi my card and told her to have fun there. I was not going to go there. An hour later, all four of them walked out with
three bags apiece. I am going to pay for this later on. Time to get a big contract in business.
It was late afternoon by the time we were done and heading back to Blood Stone. Tovi was
curled up next to me in the SUV, falling asleep. Caitlin and Angelica also fell asleep in the third seat. Shopping is very exhausting,
“Have you learned your lesson, Greg?” Jason chuckled. He walked out of the mall with five
new pairs of the latest sneakers, as if he didn’t need any more. We got our suits for Bjorn’s ceremony, along with dress shoes too.
“I know that I am ready to go home,” Jack whined. He gets homesick after a while and is
usually ready to go home.
“We will be going home the day after tomorrow,” I told him. I need to make sure that everything

is running smoothly.
We arrived at the packhouse. The warriors help unload everything and take the bags inside. I
picked Tovi up and carried her to her room. I laid her down and she didn’t stir. Angelica came in and helped me put everything away, so Tovi doesn’t have to worry about it when she wakes
- up.
