Chapter Nineteen
Greg’s POV
I could tell that this was overwhelming Tovi. When she shifted into her wolf and took off, her
mother told me that she would be ok. There is a hidden cave that Tovi and her two friends go to when they need to get away. She would sit there and keep her mind–link open in case Tovi needed help. I nodded my head, got up, and walked into the packhouse. I mind linked Jack and Jason, asking them to meet me in the conference room. They got there at the same time as I did. We walked in, shut the door, and both looked at me.
“What’s up, cousin?” Jack asked me. “And where is our Luna?”
“Well guys, she knows that we are the power couple that will help defeat the demons in the
upcoming war. Right now, she is overwhelmed with all the information that she just received
from her father,” I explained to them. Both nodded their heads, understanding that she was confused about herself. “We should head home in a couple of days. Zane wants to have a
Gamma ceremony for Bjorn, and I know that Tovi will want to be here for that. It is in two days.
“Ok, boss, but we have no suits with us. Everything is back home,” Jason pointed out.
“Perfect solution, we will take Tovi, Angelica, and Lillian shopping tomorrow to get dresses for
the ceremony, and we can get new suits,” I explained to Jason, knowing that he loves going
shopping, especially for sneakers. He has a wall of shelves full of sneakers. He is about as
bad as a she wolf when it comes to shoes. “And no more shoes, Jason. You have enough
shoes at home!” I warned him. He throws up his hands like he is surrendering about the
shoes.
We walked out of the conference room and went to the dining room. Zane and Richard were
sitting at their table with plates of food. I was getting worried about Tovi because she had not
returned yet. I found Angelica and saw if she could link her and make sure that she was ok.
“Alpha, I could not get through. It is like she has a block up. I will try again in a few minutes for
you,” she explained worriedly.

I wished that we were mated and marked, so I could link her myself. But if she had her block up, then I would not get through.
Alpha, if she is not back by the time you are done eating, I can send my cousin, Rocky, to the
cave. Only the three of us know where it is at,” Angelica offered. I nodded my head in
appreciation. It is better that Rocky went than Angelica just in case there is trouble out there.

Chapter Nineteen
I sat down with Zane and Richard, discussing Paul’s banishment and if there were any more rogue sightings around the border. With Paul gone, I have a feeling that there will be more attacks on the pack, in retaliation for his banishment. I told Zane that he should increase patrols for the next few months, and I would talk to the Alpha in the pack about a half hour away that has incredibly good fighters in the pack, to help Blood Stone if attacks increase. My warriors will be here the day after tomorrow, so he will have some extra protection.
Finally, after an hour, Tovi walked into the dining room. She looked stressed out from the talk we had with her father. I went up to her, and she ran into my arms. I held her while she calmed down. I kissed the top of her head and told her that she needed to eat. Tovi nodded her head in agreement.
“Go sit down and I will get you a plate,” I told her. “Then we will go up to your room and I will run you a bath to help you relax.”
“That does sound wonderful,” she said, smiling. Tovi kissed me on the lips and walked to the head table. Her parents just sat down to eat, and by the looks of it, looked like they were closer than they were before we met up earlier. I grabbed a plate for Tovi and filled it up with a bunch of food. She needs to gain strength and put some weight on so she can be strong. When we get back to the pack, I will have the doctor check her out and create a plan for her to get stronger and put some weight on.
I went back to the table, put the plate on the table, sat down, and pulled Tovi into my lap. She screeched and everyone laughed. “I am keeping you close to me now, since I have found you, I growled at her. She rolled her eyes at me.
“We will see about that. You may be my mate, but I will be damn that you tell me what to do,” she hissed at me. I smacked her ass and made her yelp. There was more laughter from
everyone.
“I have an announcement for everyone,” Lillian announced, looking at Tovi. “I rejected Paul, not
because of his banishment, but because he has been horrible to both Tovi and me, along to
the Omegas. I have been so scared to leave him over the years, not sure what he would do.
But today I got the courage and got rid of him finally. I may not be blessed to get another mate, but at least I am happy and live my life the way I want to.” Tovi jumped up to hug her
mother and Pete had a hopeful look on his face that he might get another chance with his first
fated mate. Maybe the Goddess will reinstate their bond so they can be together finally after
all these years.
“It is about time, mother,” Tovi said happily. “He is nothing but a scumbag and a horrible
Gamma for treating us and the Omegas like shit.”

Chapter Nineteen
She sat back down and finished eating. She cleared the whole plate that I made for her, She stood up, grabbed my hand, and helped me stand.
“Come one, mate,” she said, pulling me towards the stairs. “I want to go take that bath you promised.” Pete and Lillian’s eyes got big, and Zane, Jack, and Jason chuckled.
“I will wish you all a good night and see all of you in the morning” I told everyone. “And we are going shopping tomorrow for the ceremony. Tovi, Lillian, and Angelica, you all better be ready to do some damage to my bank account. I am going to spoil all of you tomorrow.”
Tovi stopped pulling me, looked at me with her jaw dropped, and went running to Angelica, squealing in excitement. Jack, Jason, and I cracked up laughing.
After she calmed down, she came back to me, grabbed my hand, and dragged me out of the dining room. When we got to the stairs, I picked her up, slung her over my shoulder, and smacked her on the ass.
“OUCH!” she yelled. “That hurts!”
“That is what you get for taking off without me or a couple of warriors with you,” I told her.
You are now a Luna, and you have to keep your safety in mind from now on.” I was running up
the stairs, two at a time. When we got to the fifth floor, I walked to her room, opened the door,
and dumped Tovi on the bed.
“You stay here while I run your bath. I will get you when I have it ready,” I told her. She lay there glaring at me, not liking being told what to do.
“Do not tell me what to do, Greg Salyers!” she yelled at me. “I am not your servant! I am your
MATE!” I love it when she is feisty.
I went into the bathroom and looked around for some bubble bath, Epsom salts, and a couple
of towels for her. I found everything, along with some candles. I filled up the bathtub, putting
the bubble bath and salts in for her. I set the candles around the edge of the bathtub, lit them,
and created a relaxing environment for her. A few minutes later, I walked into the bedroom, and she was not on the bed anymore. I found her in the closet, finding something to wear to
bed.
“What are you doing, my love?” I asked her, leaning against the door frame.
“Looking for the nightie that Luna bought for me a couple of weeks ago. I want to wear it to bed tonight,” she answered. I got hard instantly when she said that. Damn, this girl is daring and tormenting me at the same time. She found what she was looking for and went into the bathroom. She did not shut the door and was starting to undress in front of me. Seeing her beautiful naked body in front of me was making it hard for me to go up to her and just start
