Chapter 90
Kaiden
“You can’t go in “The servants protested, trying to pull me back as I pushed through the hall.
After they didn’t succeed in throwing me out as they planned, one of them blocked my path so I wouldn’t go in. I chuckled in amusement, clenching my list before throwing a punch to his face. The servant stumbled back from the impact before falling to the ground as he pressed a finger unto his bursted lips.
“The next person who dares to stop will be joining his descendants.” I threatened, turning back briefly to stare at the other servants who had looks of hesitation in their fraties.
I walked past the man on the floor, allowing myself into the main chamber of the hall. My eyes hardened on Magnus who didn’t spare me glance, however the disdainfully look on his face made it obvious he had noticed my presence.
“Why are you causing a ruckus here, Kaiden?” Jonathan question coldly, gripping on the chair.
“Where is Aurora!” I yelled, pausing at the center of the room.
“How are we supposed to know that?” Jonathan shot back, feigning ignorance with a knowing look on his face.
“You know better than anyone where my mate is.” I snarled, clenching my fists.
Magnus let out a hollow laughter, arching his head to me. “The last I checked you were asked to deliver your mate, weren’t
deceit. you?” He demanded, clearly pointing out my
“And you still have the guts to come here asking about your mate.” He stood up angrily, descending from the podium.
“We all know she’s here so stop with the lies. I spat out in fury.
I readied myself for an inevitable fight. I swung my fist to him, but he dodged it, digging his claws into my chest. I hissed in pain, stumbling backwards. He didn’t give me time to recover, before he digging into my flesh yet again and again continuously.
“You overestimate yourself, Kaiden.” He said cruelly, throwing my body against the wall and I fell to the ground with a thud I spat out blood from my mouth, as I struggled to standing upright amidst the pain in my body.
“I’ve had enough of your nuisance!” He declared, rushing towards me with a speed of light, I stared at him intently, wiping the blood from the side of my face.
His fist collided with my face, slamming me to the wall and allowed him believe he had the upper hand before I dragged my claws upward from his abdomen.
He hissed angrily, stumbling backwards as he placed a hand on the wound. He shot me a cold stare before staring down at
the wound
1 chuckled darkly, feeling a
ense of satisfaction. “Now who overestimated themselves?” I asked with a mock smile.
He nodded in amusement. “You’re the first who managed to leave a scratch on my body and probably the last.” He s his eyes sharpened in determination.
I shut my eyes and inhaled sharply, stretching my body as I waited for his attack. I opened my eyes when I heard his steps. coming closer to me. I took a step forward, but paused when a body blocked my path
“Stop.” Aurora screamed loudly with her arms spread in front of me in a protective manner, Magnus froze in his tracks staring at her in amusement

Chapter 901
“Aurora” I whispered with a smile on my face, feeling a heavy weight being lifted from my shoulders.
“Not now.” She hissed, arching her head towards me before turning back to Magnus.
1 had almost forgotten she was mad at me. The fact that she shielded me from his attack meant she still loves me
“Who let you out?” Jonathan growled angrily at the interruption. He had already been anticipating my death, as though it would be easy to kill me.
“Are you so eager to die?” Magnus question in a serious tone.
“You don’t want me died yet. Aurora responded snugly. I shook my head in disapproval. She didn’t know them well, she probably assumed they will be as “nice”
Magnus laughed darkly, “That’s where you are mistaken.” He drawled out, “I want to you both dead.” He announced with a hard gaze with a smile that didn’t reach his face. I pushed Aurora behind me when he lunged forward to attack.
“Don’t hurt him!” Aurora snapped angrily, and Magnus fell backwards without being touched.
Aurora did this. She keeps shocking me each day. I thought she could only wield death with her mind, but it seems she could do more than that.
I spun around to look at her confused face. She was equally surprised by what had just happened, but there was something else in her features. Fear? Was she scared of her capabilities?
Jonathan and Peter came rushing towards him in concern, helping him up to his feet.
“Are you okay?” They both asked in unison, glaring at Aurora angrily. Magnus hummed in response, waving his hand in dismissal before turning back to us.
“You really are the descendant of the Moon goddess” Magnus remarked, dusting invisible dirt from his body.
“No, she isn’t” I spat back, caressing Aurora’s face and she surprisingly didn’t flinch back.
“I was starting believe if we were wrong. Magnus said, ignoring my comment.
“This makes things much more easier.” He added before summoning the warriors to drag us out.
“What the fuck do you think you’re doing, Magnus?” I snapped angrily, as the inched closer to us.
Don’t fight them, we won’t win. Aurora said through our mind link. My eyes flickered to her, but her attention was elsewhere.
Did she even know she could kill everyone of us here? Yet she was scared of fighting them? I clenched my jaw in anger. suppressing the urge to fight back.
“You’ll find out soon.” Magnus responded curtly as his warriors dragged us out of the hall.
