“You’re going to get hurt, honey. I don’t want you to live in despair. She said softly, trying to coerce me.
I let out a exasperated side, my gaze hardening on her. “I have lived in despair for seven years, Mom. I don’t mind living that way forever I announced.
“Alright, honey” She mumbled in defeat, “but that’s not why I’m here” She stated in a serious tone.
“You’re in danger.” She said with concern. I crinkled my face in confusion before it clicked–I was kidnapped again.
“Those men are not the regular werewolves and you
u can’t hurt them.” She added.
“What do I do, Mom?” Lasked eagerly, slight fear gripping my heart.
“Don’t do anything, honey. Play the weak little Aurora and they will let you go. She advised, holding my hand firmly. I nodded in agreement sensing the panic in her voice.
“It’s time for you to wake up.” She whispered, smiling at me. I already knew what to expect. She was leaving again and I still didn’t know how to summon her.
“How do I ask for your help, Mom?” I asked eagerly as she covered my eyes with her hand causing me to feel dizzy. When you think of me, I will be there.” That was all I heard before I fell unconscious. What does that even mean!
I gasped sharply, my eyes blinking open again. My eyes adjusted to the empty bright room. I was on a bed, not just any but a soft plush king size bed and surprisingly unchained
I slipped out of the bed gently, feeling a little strain on my neck. I walked towards the door hesitantly, surprised to find it
unlocked
Are they trying to test my
abilities to outrun them or maybe they are confident in catching me if I escape?

I pulled the door knob, stepping out of the room into a long hallway My feet carried me to the erbors of vores d know where I found the confidence after my Mom’s stern warning to act weak best erry ecrinity always seek the better go of me.
I stood in front of a large floor where the voices were coming from. I gripped on the handle, contemplating my de when I heard a command from inside.
“Come on in.” The unfamiliar yet authoritative voice ordered. I took a sharp breath, pushing the door open my eyes landing on three figures seated in a dinning table.
I stuck in a position unable to move especially with their predatory eyes planted on me. They locked intimode
“Sit.” One of them ordered, whom I assumed to be their head. It was impossible to ignore their command. I walked over to them, sitting on the chair far away from them and curling myself in the seat to look invisible
“I’m Peter.” The man by my right introduced with a smile that make me uneasy. It seemed genuine from the outside bett there was something about it that looked sinister.
I nodded slowly, biting my lips to stop me from speaking. The goal was to play weak to they would allow me go
I was drawn out from my trance when a servant placed a plate in front of me. I glanced up at him, before looking at them
“Please enjoy.” The servant smiled at me before spinning on his heels and leaving.
Enjoy? How was I supposed to enjoy a meal arranged by my kidnappers?
“Don’t worry, it’s not poisoned.” The man at the left assured noticing my hesitation.
I smiled with a nod of head, but I had no plans of taking a bite. I wanted freedom not food.
“My name is Magnus.” The man at the head of the table announced, raising his head from his plate.
“I’m the head of the North council and circle. You probably heard of me?” He arched a brow, dropping his cutlery down on the table which clacked with a sound.
So this was the ‘famous‘ North council head, Magnus?
“And I’m Jonathan. The man from earlier interjected. I nodded aware of their existence from the little information I got Kaiden about them.
“I’m sure you know why you are here?” Alpha Magnus asked with a hard look on his face. I shook my head, feigning ignorance.
“Alright then. I heard you are the Moon goddess descendant and you have special abilities?” It seemed like a question, but it was far from it.
“No. I don’t.” I lied, trying to figure my way out of this mess.
He chuckled in amusement. “I can sense lies faster than any werewolf, Aurora.” He said cruelly, “I will repeat the question again, are you the descendant of the Moon goddess?”
“No, I’m not.” I repeated more firmly, staring into his eyes to show him I wasn’t scared of him.
“That isn’t what I was told.” He murmured to himself, clearly not believing me.
I was more interested in how he found out I was the Moon goddess’s descendants. I hadn’t told anyone about it except Layla was Layla in on this? I remember hearing her voice before passing out or did I imagine it?
But why would she want me dead? What does she stand to gain?
Chapter 89
“I guess we’ll have to find out for ourselves if she really is the descendant of the Moon geddess or not Peter declared with a cruel smile etched in his face
My confidence slipped as I stared into his face. If they were really as untouchable as my Mom claimed, coming out of here unharmed was slimm.
