1 twirled the dagger in my hands, trying to wrapped my head around every detail of Aurora’s dream. I was glad the was finally discovering more about herself and her lineage, however I was worried. Aurora claimed her mother could speak to her through dreams, and had the ability to see the future.
What it her mother tells her everything? That I was the beast responsible for her death.
It was a secret I planned to take to my grave. There was no telling what Aurora would do if she ever learned the truth. I doubt I could stop her from leaving like I did when she found out my identity. She was strong now, and could walk out on her own without me being able to do anything about it.
The knock on my office door drew me out of my trance. My eyes flicked to the door in irritation, choosing to ignore the distraction, but whoever was behind those doors was persistent
“Alpha Derek called, walking into the office. I sighed, shooting him a sharp glare.
“What’s your problem now?” I snapped in annoyance, placing the blade down on my desk
“Dr Hall is here. He announced hastily
I arched a brow in surprise, “Who’s here?” I questioned in a stern tone.
“Dr Hall” He said again, more firmly this time. “Should I let him in?” He added.
I hummed in response, watching him slowly leave the room after a slight bow. What would Dr Hall possibly want with me! The last I heard of him was after I killed his wife and he left town.
The door flew open again and I didn’t need to look up to know who it was. Only a person that wasn’t part of my pack who barge into my office without knocking.
“Alpha Kaiden” Dr Hall said with a mock smile, pulling the chair in front of my desk.
“It’s nice to see you again.” He added, with a glint in his eyes.
“We both know there’s nothing nice about this sudden visit.” I spat coldly, studying his expression,
He seemed happy and relaxed as though he knew something that I didn’t. Whatever it is, was definitely of disadvantage to me and I planned on finding out what it was
“Considering how you helped me get rid of my cheating wife and Owen, I think I’m pleased with you.” He countered with a sarcastic smile.
“Are you sure you’re okay with killing your wife and her lover?” I mocked with a smirk.

“Of course, I always wondered why Owen was more concerned about Grace than he was about me.” He started, his jaw tightening in anger, “I wanted to brush it off, but I couldn’t. I decide to dig deeper only to find out how they’ve both been playing me for a fool all this.” He chuckled bitterly
“I don’t care about your love story.” I said coldly in dismissal, “Why are you really here, Dr Hall?” I growled in a serious tone.
“The North council requests your presence.” He announced with a smug look
“The North council?” I asked back in

Chapter 82
The North council were group of werewolves, one of the oldest werewolves who were responsible for the affairs of the North circle. The North circle were the association of werewolves packs around the north and there were a total of ten packs under it including the Redville pack.
However the North council never questioned how things were handled in our individual packs. They were almost invincible and only interfered when they felt threatened which rarely happens.
“Why are the North council demanding my presence?” I shot back, narrowing my eyes
The last time I was summoned by them was five years ago, after I killed my parents and few other people who were present. They had wanted to help me control my wolf, but their tactics didn’t work so I was set free
“You will know when you get there.” He shrugged off. He was fucking lucky I had my temper under control now. De Hall was a messenger to the North council
“Out of my office.” I growled and he flinched back slightly, taken aback by my outburst.
“Aren’t you coming with me?” He asked, clearing his throat, and reluctantly scrambling to his feet.
“Are you forcing me. Dr Hall?” I challenged, with a sardonic smile creeping on my lips.
He clenched his fist in anger, gritting his teeth before spinning on his heels and storming out of the office.
The North council careless about our battles after all, most inter pack fights were as a result of the rules formed by them They set a rule that whoever was the strongest Alpha in the North circle could fight for the position of the head of North council which was what that old crook Alpha desired.
If anyone wanted to be at the top of the hierarchy in the North circle, then they would have to fight for it and killing each other was no crime as long as it was for the greater good.
Silver mist pack were the highest rank in the North circle and second were the Torrence pack which was why they were so eager to defeat our pack.
Rhea’s father didn’t just wish to become the head of the North council, but to become the Alpha king who was in charge of every pack in all regions.
I was never interested in becoming the ultimate ruler, one pack was burdensome, what more about hundreds around the globe?
I rose my feet, pulling the suit coat over my body as I walked out of the office.
“I’m going out.” I informed Derek who was standing by the bar counter. I didn’t wait for his response and simply saw myself
out.
This meeting better not be a total waste of my time.
