Chapter 66
It’s been going pretty fine after I accepted Kaiden back into thy life. Yes we wed button rm so deepened far greater than before. It was like I was getting to know him all over again for a degree
“So you were the one healing me each time I had a heiser Inked currenty day he had sold or few things about he strength. My back was pressed against his chest and his head red on the head while in a wrapped in my
“Yes, I did though we don’t have such powers. We aren’t healers He stared pursing his lips as though he was trying to process something
“If you aren’t a healer, then how did you I trailed off, lifting an eyebrow I was yet to understand everything about his world
“I don’t know, I pressed my lips against your wound and suddenly vanished” He explained.
“Isn’t that one of your strengths?” I was equally as clueless as he looked.
“No, love. Werewolves don’t heal except of course, they are part witch” He responded, and I nodded in understanding
“I don’t know what it is, love, but I don’t think you are completely human.” He announced, and I tilted my head staring at him in annoyance,
not human doesn’t mean you can say something like that about me.” I Ispat angrily
“Just because you’re not
“There’s nothing special about being a human.” He responded, unfazed my anger.
“There’s everything special about being human, Kaiden but you wouldn’t possibly understand since you’re not one.” I snarled, but I immediately regretted my words once it was out.
“Kaiden, I’m sorry,” I whispered in a low tone, my head hanging low in guilt.
“What exactly are you sorry for?” He snapped, shooting me a cold stare.
“I shouldn’t-
“But you’re right, Aurora. I’m not human, neither do I wish to ever be. Humans are weak.” He cut me off sharply, his words laced in disgust but I knew he was trying to get back at me
“Can we please not do this now?” I sighed in exhaustion, rubbing a hand on my forehead.
“You started this, Aurora” He gave me a pointed look and I nodded, accepting my fault
“And I said I’m sorry.” I repeated, but he chuckled darkly.
“You shouldn’t be sorry when you’re simply stating a fact.” He responded with a smile that didn’t reach his face.
“But what you shouldn’t do is to get angry about my idea” He added in a calm tone but I could tell he was far from it
“I’m human” I said firmly, trying to suppress my anger.
“What human can heal that fast?” He demanded angrily.
“I didn’t do anything. It was all you!” My voice raised in anger as I scooted away from him.

“I told you I don’t fucking heal a person” He shot back
“Same here” I said quietly, my face deepening into a scowl
He sighed in frustration, tugging his hair. “Let’s assume it’s me then” He said, nodding his head before continuing, “What human endures such scars on your body without dying??
1 opened my mouth to speak but nothing came out of it. I couldn’t denying the slight truth in his words. I’ve always thought about it during that time, but I believed I was just lucky
“Can’t defend yourself because you think I’m right as well” He said mor kingly with a hint of menare.
“There’s nothing strange about me. I’m like every other human on earth” Largued, shaking my head in denial,
“So do I, yet I’m not human.” He countereil, trying to prove his point which was valid.
“Not every non–humans are werewolves, Aurora. Some are witches, who have no distinctive features from humans except for their hair or other minor appearance and their powers of course that differentiate them from you” He explained, staring at my hair.
“I’m human!” I insisted with defiance in my heart.
If I hadn’t discovered about stronger creatures existing among us, then I would have still thought I was lucky. But when he put it like that, I don’t know what to think anymore.
He shook his head in annoyance, clenching his list as he slipped out of the bed. Without another word, he walked out of the doors. I sat quietly, stewing in regrets as I heard the entrance down click shut.
I wasn’t intentionally trying to piss him, but I just couldn’t imagine being anything other than a human. Maybe I was a little scared of turning out to be a werewolf too.
I turned my head quickly to the creaking of the door that I heard a bone crack.
“I just saw Mr Thane on my way in Layla said, stepping into my room. I sighed in disappointment seeing her instead of Kaiden
“He looked pissed. Did you two get into another fight?” She questioned, her face scrunching in confusion. She sat on the chair in my room.
“Yes we did.” I confirmed, falling back to the bed.
“Why are you always on each others neck? Is that the way of displaying love?” She wiggled her brows teasingly.
I chuckled in response, shaking my head. “You can say that.” I said in uncertainty.
We did always disagree about a lot of things and yes I hated it but maybe it was our way of love as she said.
“You love weird couples but you shouldn’t always fight. Can’t you both be like me and Derek?” She grinned at me.
