I had a wet dream, that Kaiden pleasured me in a bathtubs Though it was a dream but it felt so real, like it really happeneit and his cologne which lingered on my bed had me tineasy.

So I decided to forget him and he just chose to haunt me in my dreams instead? How rude.

I stared down at my body, inhaling sharply when I noticed the night dress I had on was exactly the same with that from my dream. Was it really a dream or did it happen? But he had no reason to touch me anymore.

My head felt blank from the events of last night so Trouldn’t tell. Only Kaiden had the answers to my question and I definitely had no intention of asking. I mean what was I supposed to say? Did you make me cum in the bathtub last night with a shower head? I’m sure he would think I’m desperate for him again.

I threw the covers off my body, getting out of bed. I was slightly thankful when I didn’t meet Kaiden in the living room when I came out. I didn’t have the mental capacity to argue with him over nothing with a headache and empty stomach

I walked to the kitchen, proceeding to prepare oatmeal I scrolled through my phone seeing the text from Layla which read Good morning sleepyhead. I’m sure you have a hangover by now. Anyways thinking of dropping by.

I smiled at her text, responding with an ‘okay. I shoved my phone aside when the microwave dinged. I took out the bowl from the microwave and setting it on the dinning table.

I let it cool off a bit before shoving some into my mouth, savoring the taste. I scrolled through my phone with the other hand, staring at the multiple unread messages from Owen with guilty. I had been so wrapped up in my web of love with Kaiden that I forgot his existence. I managed to send a ‘hi though it felt wrong, I finished up my meal, and washed the dishes.

I walked to the door with a smile, when I heard the beeping of the door. I swung the door open, my smile instantly fading when I saw Layla standing with Owen.

“What are you doing here?” I blurted out, coming off rudely

He chuckled, his eyes curving from the smile, “You don’t wish to see me?” He asked with a glint of amusement

“At least let us in, Rory.” Layla commented with a pout. I stepped aside so they could come in. Closing the door, I stalked behind them.

“What should offer you?” I asked awkwardly fumbling with my hands, standing by the side as I avoided eye contact with Owen. I already felt guilty for ghosting him.

The last time he was here, Kaiden was pissed and he warned me to stay clear off him. Not because of my feelings for Kaiden but I was scared how he would react if he comes back to find him here.

“Ohh nothing. My stomach is filled.” Layla responded rubbing on her belly, I nodded, pairing my eyes to Owen, waiting for a

response.

“Just sit, Aurora” He commanded, his eyes staring into my soul. I nodded nervously, sitting close to him as I wrecked my head with the possible explanation for ghosting him.

“I wasn’t expecting you.” I blurted out with a smile.

“Well I might him on my way here and I urged him to come with me to your place. Hope you don’t mind?” Layla asked with a wicked smile. I glared at her, of course it was her idea.

“Ohh I don’t mind. We’re all friends, right?” I asked, staring at Owen as though challenging him to disagree with my words. “And yet you ignored your friend’s messages. Not very friendly‘ right, Rory?” He retorted, irritated by me referring to him as friend. I knew I was hateful right now by friend zoning him when he showed clear interest in me.

“I think I’ll let you both settle your differences” Layla chimed, escaping to my room.

“Did I do something wrong to you? Is that why you ignored me?” He pressed with a neutral voice that was hard to tell if he was mad or n901

“No, you didn’t. I’m sorry, Okay?” I sighed, my shoulders slumping in defeat. “I was just so preoccupied with a lot of things”

“Is it because of Kaiden? His the reason you’ve been ignoring me right?” He asked coldly with a smile that didn’t reach his

eyes.

How did he know? Did Kaiden also warn him to stay away from me?

He chuckled darkly inching closer to me. He brushed my hair with his hand, “Good. I have a lot of plans for you.” He whispered in a low tone. I resisted the urge to slap his hand away and only offered him a tight smile.

“What sort of plans?” I asked with a fake smile.

“You’ll find out soon.” He said dismissively, his eyes glinting with..lust?

I pushed his hand off my hair instantly, feeling repulsed by his touch. Was I overthinking things as always?

“You shouldn’t have ignored me, Aurora.” He spat out angrily, grabbing my face.

“What are you doing?” I asked in panic as I felt his hands on my thigh. He laughed mockingly, pressing his lips against mine.

I struggled to push him away but he was way stronger than I was, instead 1 bite his lips hard and he pulled away from me with a sinister smile.

“You’re quite feisty. I’ll definitely enjoy taming you.” He said in delight,

Fear gripped my heart, but I refused to show it to him, “Get out of my house now!” 1 barked angrily, rising from the couch. I should have listened to Kaiden and stay away from him.

Layla soon appeared probably alarmed by my scream. “I asked you guys to settle your differences, not to fight.” She scolded. unaware of the danger lurking around.

Owen laughed ignoring her statement, “Kaiden should have thought you properly on how to sense danger.” He said with a mock smile, walking towards me as I flinched away from him in fear. “Blame your mate for my cruelty” He spat out angrily. pressing a hand on my neck tightly.

“What the hell are you doing?” Layla asked gripping his arms.

“I’m not here for you, so don’t interfere.” He said loosening his grip on my neck and pushing her away. I stared in panic as

she laid unconscious on the floor.

“Layla!” I screamed, rushing over to her still body. I shook her a few things but she didn’t react, causing my heart to pound

in fear for her life.

“Don’t worry, she’s not dead.” He informed, the words a relieve to my rising heart. “Worry about your self instead.” He muttered knocking me unconscious.

“Pray Kaiden finds us fast. Those were the last words I heard as I succumbed to the darkness.
