Chapter 139
Kaiden
“Ginny!” I barked, as she walked past me. This was the first time I was leaving the room since the day I was summoned by the witches.
“What?” She spun around, staring at me with annoyance. Last time I saw her was the morning I kissed her, and she’s been avoiding me since then, obviously cause of that bastard.
She stood with the little witch who gave me a half smile. The little witch was quite useful in giving me information about Ginny. I still hated her guts, but for Aurora’s sake I was willing to tolerate her nuisance. I learnt Ginny was always in the human world–Narthom by day. It explained why Aurora sent me to Narthom, never gave me any instruction. It wasn’t no coincidence.
“Where are you going?” I questioned, ignoring the hostility.
It was difficult speaking to her when she was cold towards me, however I was trying to be patient. She didn’t remember her past life, and saw me as an enemy. If Shadow wasn’t locked away somewhere, then it would have been a lot easier to sense her.
“And since when do I answer to you?” She sneered, raising her eyebrows in question. She was infuriating, and trying too hard to convince herself that she hated me, but I could see it. There was this curiosity, and small affection behind all the fire in her eyes.
She may have been avoiding me, but made it a routine to check my room each night.
I chuckled darkly, staring at her in amusement. “You weren’t that aggressive when you were kissing me.” I responded sarcastically, clicking her tongue.
Her eyes widened in shock and her cheeks flushed in embarrassment as she stared back at the little witch before looking at
- me.
“You kissed him?” Little witch paled in shock, turning to stare at Ginny with a judgmental look.
“No, I didn’t!” She shrieked in defense, shooting me a warning glare.
“You’re lying!” Little witch countered with flushed face. Why was she acting pissed?
“Go ahead first, Elara. I’ll meet you there.” She digressed, glancing at me before turning back to her sister.
“Why? So you can go and fuck him?” Little witch spat in venom with a burning gaze. She stomped her foot on the floor like a child, huffing before walking off with anger.
I stared at her disappearing figure with indifference. I had my reservations about her ‘kindness‘ and thought she had an ulterior motive, but it was clear now.
She likes me? Why a fucking witch? She disgusted my existence, and she had the guts to harbor disgusting feelings for me.
“How dare you?” Ginny snarled, taking a step closer in fury. I chuckled in response, taking a step back, and trust her to follow me cluelessly.
I took another step back, entering the room with her following on instinct. My lips curled in a smirk. I slammed the door behind her, pressing her on the wooden door.
“What-” She gasped in shock. I pressed my index on her lips, shushing her up.
“You’ve been avoiding me.” I whispered, twirling her hair in my finger.

Chapter 139
She gaped, swallowing the words down her throat. My eyes trailed down her body, and my pants tightened in want. She was on a small top that barely covered her upper body, and a mid length shirt. I clicked my tongue, snaking my hand around her waist. She groaned in pleasure, shutting her eyes as I played with the soft skin around her stomach.
“Is this because of that bastard?” I growled in anger, raising my hand into her top. She held my arm tightly, leaning into my
chest.
“Or because am a werewolf?” I continued, stopping on the cups of her bra. Her breath hitched in her throat as she slowly opened her eyes. I could see the lust in them. She wanted me.
“I can make you feel loved, Ginny,” I coerced, rubbing my hard on on her thigh. She gasped in shock, slowly looking down at my pants. Her eyes darkened in pleasure as she caught sight of my hardened dick.
“That’s what you do to me, Aurora.” I mumbled, raising her chin up to meet my eyes. My words broke the spell. She snorted, pressing her hands hard on my chest and pushing me away.
“I’m not Aurora!” She screamed in anger, her voice raw with anger. The disgust returned. She wiped off the parts my hands touched aggressively as though to remove my finger tips.
I stared at her silently, clenching my fist. Why doesn’t she understand that she’s Aurora? She was given a second chance to live, and she expected to live without me in it?
She snapped her eyes back up to me. I may have been wrong to think she felt something beneath all that masked anger.
“Don’t dare touch me again.” She warned with seriousness in her voice.
She spun on her heels, pulling the door knob. “Elara.” She muttered in shock, freezing in her steps.
My jaw tightened on hearing the little witch’s name. Her eyes shone in jealousy as they locked to mine. She knew what happened. Good.
“I waited, but you didn’t come.” She explained curtly, her eyes fixed on mine.
“Let’s go.” Ginny announced, pulling her arm, but she yanked it off slowly, breaking eye contact.
“I have something to tell Kaiden.” She announced, brushing past her without waiting for her response.
I crossed my arms, staring at her in disdain. “What do you want?” I growled, watching Ginny storm off in annoyance. “The curse will be broken tomorrow.” She announced with a straight face. Her eyes was devoid of emotions in them. “Ginny will perform the ritual by dawn. Prepare yourself.” She added coldly, spinning on her heels without another words. My eyes hardened on the door as her steps receded from the room. Was she trying to guilt trap me?
