Chapter 137
Genevieve
I felt a twitch in my chest walking into Elara and the werewolf–Kaiden’s intimate moment. Was it jealousy, or anger? I couldn’t tell what it was, but I hated the feeling.
“Are you going to just stand there?” He asked, crossing his arms with a bored expression on his face. He was standing.
I was bothered by his body’s perfection. It was difficult concentrating on the ‘perfectly planned speech‘ I laid out to deliver when he looked like that. I swallowed, strolling to the table where the neatly folded clothes lay.
I shoved it into his arms. “Dress. I can’t talk to a naked person.” I stated curtly.
He tossed the clothes in the bed, his lips twitching up to a smirk, “Why? Are you bothered by it?” He leaned in, pushing his face barely an inch close to mine.
I shut my eyes, kicking off the shrewd thoughts from my head. He may have the perfect body, but he was still a werewolf.
“Stay away from my sister.” I warned, blinking my eyes open with a fire in them.
He furrowed his eye brows, “Your sister threw herself at me.” He clarified, gritting his teeth.
“I don’t care. Just stay away from her or you will regret it.” I gnashed my teeth with a threat.
He clicked his tongue, taking a step back. He sat on the bed, his eyes piercing into my skin. “Are you jealous, Ginny?” He asked with a grimace, “Jealous that I’m directing all my attention to her?” His words were mocking.
“She’s not ‘Aurora‘, but my sister, Elara.” I gritted in response, averting his gaze.
Maybe I was jealous. I constantly thought of kissing him again ever since that day. I hate to admit, but he was a good kisser, and made me crave more of his lips. That kiss had stirred up a hunger in me that Michael couldn’t quench. It was becoming increasing hard to keep hating him.
“I never said she was.” He mumbled in response, stretching his arms and showing his perfect abs.
“She burnt to ashes, and you saw it yourself. I don’t want you pulling my sister into your mind tricks.” I defended cold, placing my hands in my waist.
He flickered his eyes up, locking eyes with me. Slowly, he stood up from the bed, stepping closer to me.
“How did you know Aurora burnt to death?” He questioned with seriousness, grabbing my hand and pulling me closer to
him.
“Let go.” I commanded, struggling to free my hand from his strong grip.
“Fucking answer me.” He lifted my chin, holding it roughly. I chewed on the inside of my cheek, pushing his hand off my face angrily.
“Do I need to remind you of what I could do to you?” I snapped, massaging my chin. I had the power to control things or people with my mind.
“Just answer the damn question, Ginny!” He roared in anger, tugging on his hair in frustration.
“I saw your memories.” I admitted throwing my hand in the air. He was persuasive. I remained here to warn him, not to indulge in meaningless conversations with him.
His hand hung on the air. He pressed his lips together, staring at me in wonder. “What did you see?” He demanded, taking a

step closer.
I shook my head, “I’m not here to answer questions.”
“You’re really Aurora.” He whispered in response, taking another step to me. I backed away on instinct, but he pulled me close by the waist.
“I’m not your lover!” I snarled, squirmed around to free my self from his hold.
“Those are your memories, Ginny.” He persisted, ignoring my words. They weren’t my memories, but I was bothered by them. I may be able see memories, but not just by locking lips. I had to performed a spell for it to happen.”
I sighed in frustration. Using my strengths, I pushed him away from me. Standing too close to him, and listening to his gibberish was making me doubt myself. If I hadn’t grown up in this forest for years, I could have accepted his unrealistic
conclusion.
“You’ve gotten my warning, and I hope you adhere to them.” I smiled cruelly, shooting him a glare before turning on my heels.
I barely took two steps when he grabbed me by the arm, spinning me around. My head blanked, as he leaned in slowly, pressing his lips to mine. I inhaled, my eyes bulging out of its socket as he moved his lips against mine.
I had to push him off, he was the enemy, but my hands seemed to lost its strength. I stuck to my position savoring the kiss. I‘ was losing it. He pulled me closer into his chest, holding my waist possessively. My hands shook as I moved them up, slowly resting them around his neck. I shut my eyes, my lips moving in sync to his.
I didn’t know what I was doing. But I knew I needed to kiss him back for this lust to end. I couldn’t keep thinking about a man who was an enemy to us witches. It was a crime punishable by death to get involve with a werewolf.
“I fucking missed you, love.” He muttered into my mouth with vulnerability.
For a moment, I wished to be his lover. The way he stared at me in affection each time he believed I was her. I always thought werewolves had no emotions until I met him. You could feel his love for her through his words.
“Ginny!” My eyes fluttered open in fear when I heard Michael’s voice, and my senses seemed to return back. I jumped away, pushing Kaiden away in a hurry.
“Ginny!” He yelled again, storming into the room. I spun around to the door with a smile. He couldn’t know what transpired here or he would flip.
He narrowed his eyes, staring between me and the werewolf in suspicion. I glanced back to him with a scowl.
Was I being bewitched by him? Why was I indulging him?
“You were taking long.” He stated, flickering his eyes back to me. I hummed, strolling towards him.
“Let’s go.” I intertwined our fingers, pulling him out of the door in a hurry.
