My jaw tightened as I sat on my shone in the hall. It was quiet in the park, has been for days now, like they were all hiding something. They acted guilty which made it harder to fish out the mole I suspected took Ariel. There was something off about Ariel’s disappearance. She wasn’t of importance to me, so why would anyone take her? This was certainly done by a werewolt. I mean no one was that bold. I suspected the Moon blood or Torrence pack, but what do they stand to gain?
I wouldn’t have cared less about her whereabouts if not for Ryker who seemed to be losing his mind. Tired of analyzing everything. I stood up from my throne, and made my way towards the door.
“Are you leaving already, alpha?” Silas asked curiously, standing in my way. He showed interest in taking over Ryker’s role. He was good in lighting, and would make a good heta, however that position was reserved for Hyker.
“You want something?” I shot back with an intense gaze.
“I already got what I wanted, what more could I possibly want?” He said with a sly smile, his eyes shone with something dark.
“And what’s this you got?” I questioned with piqued interest.
“Good night, Alpha” He ignored my question, bowing his head with a mock smile.
I stared at him for a moment, trying to read through him. He was acting suspicious, and suddenly bene more concerned about the affairs of the pack..Was he the mole!
I hissed at the thought, pushing him on wall angrily with my arms wrapped around his neck. “You fucking traitor.” I snarled furiously.
He chuckled in satisfaction. “Took you long enough” He didn’t bother denying it.
“Where did you take Ariel?” I demanded, digging my claws into his flesh.
His face twisted in pain as I kept digging deeper. “Ariel?” He asked in pretense.
“What do you plan to her?” I asked again, gnashing my teeth.
“I wouldn’t care less about her.” He scoffed, groaning in pain as I stabbed my dagger into his chest.
“I won’t ask again, where is she?” I sneered as his face showed clear signs of pain
He stared with pitiful eyes before bursting into laughter. “I wouldn’t be worrying about her if I were you” He stated.
As though on cue, The pack members all stormed into the hall with weapons, surrounding us both
“Let him go.” They ordered, pointing their weapons at me.
A smile crept his way to my face as I stared at them in amusement, “Am I being betrayed right now?” I asked with an edge in
my tone
“If you want to leave here alive, let me go.” Silas threatened with a proud smile. I gritted my teeth, weighing my options before slowly withdrawing my hand from his neck and taking a step back. I hated threats, but couldn’t kill them all without getting wounded
“Always so aggressive. Silas remarked sarcastically, rubbing his neck
“I would run home right now if I were you.” He suggested with a grin, stepping closer to me. “You might never know when your mate disappears.” He shrugged off, winking at me.

“Fuck, Aurora” L cursed in panic as realization hit me. I rushed out of the building, driving to the apartment with speed.
“Please, please” 1 chanted several times, silently begging for Aurora’s safety.
I bolted out of the car with lightening speed when I got to the building “Aurora” I yelled walking through the doors, and looking around the living room.
“Where are you Aurora?” I walked into her room, but was met with silence. I shut the doors angrily as I stepped out. She wasn’t home, Aurora’s had been taken.
“I will fucking kill you, Silas!” I roared into the air, pulling my hair in anger. Everything seemed to be in place. There was no sign of sinuggle around the house which meant she left on her own feet. I stomped to my room, scanning through the sunveillance camera for clues
“Ryker?” I muttered in confusion as he appeared in the video. My jaw ticked as I continued watching the footage till the point where they had both left the apartment together.
I rubbed my forehead, staring at the footage in deep thoughts. Ryker wouldn’t have fuck! My phone rang, snapping me away from my thoughts. I stared at Ryker’s name flashing on the screen with an unreadable expression. The video proved nothing, it may just be a mere coincidence. He couldn’t possibly have kidnapped Aurora.
After allowing it ring again, I picked the call. Bringing the phone to my ear, I growled, “Where the fuck are you?”
The line went silent for a minute before I heard an icy voice. “How do you like my surprise. Alpha?”
He was responsible for it after all. “Where is Aurora?” I sneered, clenching the phone w
chr jaw.
He laughed coldly, “You didn’t think I would tell you that easily, right?” He asked mocking.
“Tell me where you are right now!” I barked through gritted teeth but I didn’t get a response. All I heard was the whooshing sound of air before the line went dead.
I shouted in anger, throwing the phone on my bed. “I’ll find you, love.” My eyes sharpened in determination as I stared into
space
