Chapter 9 9
I packed up my few belongings, leaving behind everything Theo had given me.
My sister arrived faster than I had expected. Following her was my brother… Seeing them gave me a sense of relief.
Years ago, Mom and Declan amicably ended their loveless marriage.
Declan married the woman he loved.
Mom married her first love, who is my father.
Perhaps many children from blended families are unhappy.
But I am the exact opposite.
Declan always treated Mom like a sister. Back then, they were set up, and out of helplessness, they had my sister and got
married.
They supported each other in managing their respective companies, and once they had absolute say, they divorced.
Mom remarried two years later and had me. Declan treated me as his own daughter.
So, in reality, I have two moms, two dads who love me, a half–sister, and a brother adopted by my dad.
My sister is energetic and fiery, decisive and straightforward, never one to drag things out, like a force of nature.
As for me, my personality is completely different from hers.
So when she found out I pretended to be disabled to get close to Theo, she was so angry she wanted to break my legs.
But she still quietly helped me find the best doctors for Theo, cleared many obstacles for him, and even extended a
business olive branch to him for my sake.
In truth, my sister didn’t need the Lewis Group’s involvement to succeed.
But she couldn’t resist my pleas.
The only request my sister and brother had was for me to continue hiding my identity. They always believed Theo wasn’t the right person.
I also wanted to use these three months to see if Theo would still stay loyal to me after his legs recovered.
“Thea.”
She looked at me with a complex expression, with a hint of pain… anger….
“Sis… you and Jasper were right. It turns out… he…”
“It’s okay. He’s just a jerk. If you want, I can arrange a bunch of young, handsome guys for you.”
“Sis… can’t I just have one guy?”

Chapter 99
“You! Still in the mood to joke. It’s fine. When we get home, I’ll show you the world. As my sister, you can have as many as you want. Why should a woman put all her eggs in one basket?”
I blinked. I had disappointed my sister so much by being with Theo and always avoiding them, fearing Theo would notice.
“Cough…” Jasper sighed helplessly.
My sister glared at him. “What are you coughing for? None of you men are any good.”
Jasper rubbed his nose helplessly, but his eyes still showed deep concern for me.
My sister pulled me along.
I muttered, “I haven’t taken my luggage.”
“Bang!”
She kicked the suitcase I had packed.
“Why bring this junk home?”
I weakly said, “It’s all clothes you bought for me.”
She quietly picked it up again.

She nonchalantly pointed to one of the bodyguards and then to the apartment Theo and I had lived in. “Tear this place
apart.”
I instinctively grabbed my sister’s hand.
“What’s wrong? Still reluctant?”
I then let go. Tearing it apart was a good idea.
