Chapter 18 18
Rosalie’s lips curled into a smile as she gently patted my head. “Thea, you did great.”
Cecilia, already blinded by rage, shouted, “Thea, you pretended to be disabled and fooled everyone, including Theo. Are you
happy now? Stop acting like a victim. If you truly loved Theo, how could you deceive him like this? Without the Miller
Group and the Clark Group, you are nothing.”
I frowned, about to speak.
Rosalie immediately pulled me close and shot Cecilia a disdainful glance. “Who do you think you are? Do you really believe
no one knows about the shameful acts you’ve done?”
Rosalie raised her hand and waved her fingers lightly, whispering in my ear, “Watch what big sister has prepared for you.”
The electronic screen, which had been displaying a serene landscape, suddenly switched to a series of photos.
“Three years ago, you only went abroad because Theo broke his leg, and you were afraid of being labeled heartless. You claimed it was for treatment, but you were enjoying a carefree life abroad. Truly exemplifying what it means to be
unfaithful!”
The screen showed Cecilia in bed with various men. Although her hair was brightly colored and different from her current sleek black look, her face was unmistakable, and even her expressions were crystal clear.
The final image froze on a shot of Cecilia with Theo, taken from the video call I had recorded that night.
She dared to provoke me with a video call, so she had to face the consequences.
I hadn’t expected Rosalie to have evidence of Cecilia’s escapades abroad. Compared to that, what I had seemed insignificant.
Cecilia’s expression turned frantic as she waved her hands, desperately trying to block everyone’s view. But with such a large screen, what could she possibly block?
“It’s all fake! It’s all doctored!”
Rosalie delivered another blow. “Wow, just scandalous! Little Theo, you should get yourself checked!”
Inwardly, she was satisfied, knowing the effort she had put into sending people abroad to gather evidence had paid off.
Rosalie sneered and waved her hand, signaling for the Lewis family to be escorted out.
Including the devastated Theo.
I watched Rosalie, who carried herself with confidence. It wasn’t so bad, after all.
The banquet proceeded smoothly. Rosalie and Jasper flanked me, introducing me to everyone.
The guests, all shrewd individuals, naturally refrained from mentioning the earlier incident.
According to Rosalie and Jasper’s plan, we would return to Evrord in a few days.
I felt little attachment to the place I had lived for three years. During those years, I had revolved around Theo, gradually

losing myself.
To prevent my situation with Theo from affecting Mabel, I arranged for her to work at a hospital under the Sunrise Group.
As for Theo, I no longer concerned myself with his affairs.
But I could imagine his situation wasn’t going to improve.
Rosalie announced at the banquet that we would never cooperate with the Lewis Group again, which would undoubtedly
deal a heavy blow to them and attract many who would try to take a piece of the Lewis Group.
Theo himself tried various ways to contact me afterward, sending numerous messages, all full of regret, recalling our past,
and promising to love me better in the future.
He wanted to start over with me.
But was that even possible?
