It was easy to guess what was happening, which explained the strange and shocked looks from those when Quiana came back.
Quiana just smiled faintly. “Maybe Zendaya wants to get closer to me.”
That was clearly just a wild story. But she wasn’t willing to say more, so the others decided to let it go.
Wendy quickly changed the subject. “Tomorrow night is our second performance. Have you practiced your choreography these last few days? Our group only has four members now, so let’s make the most of today and rehearse.
Thalia, who wasn’t particularly close with Quiana, felt too nervous to ask any questions.
With less than twenty–four hours until the second performance, everyone was focused on their final rehearsals, putting aside their worries about Lucy and Quiana.
Only Lucy, looking upset, sought out Zendaya. “Why is Quiana still at the training camp?”
Zendaya, already feeling stressed, barely held back her anger when she saw Lucy. “Lucy, do you really think that just because Star Entertainment is backing you, you’re untouchable?”
Lucy frowned. “What do you mean, Zendaya?”
Zendaya replied coldly, “This is a show designed to select members through a fair competition, but Star Entertainment is guaranteeing you a spot in the group. You’ve got experience yet you still come across as insecure. Are you really that afraid of losing?
“Why can’t you just try your best and compete fairly? Just because Quiana has won a few top spots, you can’t help but plan. against her? Do you think this is some kind of game?
“Do you really think that showing off your support from Star Entertainment gives you the right to act recklessly?”
Zendaya left Lucy looking completely embarrassed. Not long ago, Zendaya had been trying to win her over, but now, it felt like everything had flipped.
“I’ll tell you this, Lucy: if you want to go after Quiana, do it on your own and don’t involve us. Get out.” Zendaya pushed Lucy out the door with a firm shove, slamming it shut behind her.
Lucy stood there for a moment, completely bewildered. A girl passing by glanced at Zendaya’s office. “Lucy? What are you doing here?”
Even though she had almost guaranteed her place, Lucy still needed to pretend to work hard. She couldn’t afford to be the topic of gossip. Suppressing her frustration, she smiled and replied, “Mr. Smith asked me to get the performance schedule.”
The girl murmured an “oh“.
When Lucy returned to the rehearsal space and looked at her teammates, she pushed aside the incident with Zendaya. Taking a deep breath, she firmly declared, “We must win this time.”
Viola pumped her fist in encouragement, grinning. “Lucy, your choreography is truly impressive; we are destined to win.” Anyone could tell that the dance was created by Quiana, and Lucy was determined to do anything to claim victory. Hearing Viola’s words, the others exchanged glances. Even though they were a team now, once on stage, they would be judged individually. They were all rivals.
Whose choreography it was didn’t matter. As long as Lucy could take the blame, that was enough for them. All they wanted

Viola is such a fool. Lucy silently scoffed, feeling a surge of disdain. If it weren’t for the fact that she could use Viola as a stepping stone, she wouldn’t let someone so clueless be her teammate,
Keeping a cold face, Lucy firmly stated, “I expect to see each of you here after tonight.”
The other members all nodded in agreement, showing their determination.
Later, in the break room, Ryan leaned against the wall, wearing a bright red leather jacket, his golden hair shining, giving off a charming vibe.
Looking at Quiana, who was sipping water, he furrowed his brow and quietly asked, “Ms. Levine, what did Zendaya say to you this morning?”
Quiana shot him a quick glance. “Do you really want to know?”
Ryan treaded carefully. “If you’re willing to share.”
