Bryson chuckled and pulled a small white box from his pocket. “Medicine.”
Quiana examined the medicine coldly. “Speak up.”
“Can’t I come by without a reason?” Bryson asked.
She retorted, “With dozens of research projects at the institute, did you really travel all this way just to deliver some medicine?”
“Tsk.” Bryson rummaged through the refrigerator. He pulled out a cold burger and took a bite. “The pill’s underground circulation has reached headquarters. They’re asking questions.”
“Blame it on me as usual.” Quiana glanced at him. “What else?”
Bryson was silent for a moment. “Are you really not planning to go
back?”
“To where? Noah Industries or Aerovista?” Quiana lowered her eyes mockingly. “Go back to being a traitor?”
“You…” Bryson was at a loss for words and sighed. “As long as you’re happy.”
“I’m pretty happy now.” Quiana took a sip of her beer.
Quiana performed her final acupuncture session the next day. She tossed the medicine box to Julius. “One pill per week.”
The pills were white. The box had no description, just the letter “M” on it.
Julius paused. “What medicine is this?”
“Life–saving medicine,” Quiana said coolly. “Let me know if you need anything else.”
She was going back to the training camp on Liberty Island.
Julius asked Leo to arrange a plane. “I’ll send you back.”

At the Larson residence, when Keith mentioned that Quiana was seen at the Hawley manor, Xavier and Winona reacted differently.
Winona couldn’t believe it. She’d spent three months at the training camp last year without leaving once, yet Quiana had left multiple times in just one month and even treated Edward’s illness.
Winona exclaimed inwardly, ‘Does she deserve to do that? Bitch! If Julius weren’t disabled, she wouldn’t even stand a chance to get close to him. Also, Julius treats her so well… Of course, a bitch matches a cripple!‘
While Winona ranted, Yulia called with updates about Lucy at the training camp. “The recording is with Quiana.”

Quiana replied calmly: [Why is he looking for me?]
Hector texted: [No idea. He didn’t say, so I didn’t ask.]
“I’ll get someone to suppress the news of you treating my father’s illness,” Julius said gently, following her.
Quiana was too young. Her previous work as a forensic pathologist had already caused a stir. If this got out again, she’d undoubtedly become the focus of attention.
