Chapter 240
Chapter 240
After acupuncture, Edward coughed up a lot of clotted blood that had previously accumulated and wasn’t expelled.
Quiana said calmly, “Take your medicine on time, and living another five years shouldn’t be a problem.”
When they went out, Paul was waiting outside. His intense gaze seemed to be glued to Quiana.
Quiana frowned. “Dr. Spence, if you have something to say, just say it.”

“Then, I’ll get straight to it,” Paul said while observing the changes in her expression. “Where did you learn this from, Ms.
Levine?”
After yesterday’s acupuncture, Paul examined Edward and found significant improvement in the latter’s condition, with at normalized heartbeat and improved circulation. It was astounding to achieve this with acupuncture.
“Me?” Quiana paused, casually mentioning a place. “Aerovista.”
“Aerovista?” Paul was taken aback and thought, ‘Aerovista was the center of Clusia, home to prestigious families over a century old. Noah Industries was located there.
‘Yet, I’ve never heard of such a remarkable traditional medicine practitioner there. Besides, didn’t Quiana grow up in the slum? How could she learn things from Aerovista?‘
“Ms. Levine-” He wanted to ask something else, but Quiana was already gone. He frowned and asked Shane, who just walked out, “Found anything?”
Shane shook his head. “We’ve visited all the renowned doctors except for The Seraphic, and there’s no way there are any we wouldn’t know about.”
“The Seraphic… Could it be…” Paul glanced in the direction where Quiana disappeared, bold ideas forming in his mind. “Quiana learned from The Seraphic…”
Paul exclaimed inwardly, ‘For her to be so skilled at such a young age, her mentor must be even more incredible! It could only be The Seraphic!”
Shane’s expression changed slightly. “I’m going to find Julius.”
Outside the gate, Leo’s car was already parked, but today, Julius was also in the vehicle.
Quiana got into the passenger seat. “Magnolia Palace.”
Outside Magnolia Palace, a man smoked while leaning against the security booth.
The car had already drove into the residential area, but Quiana frowned. “Stop.”
Confused, Leo hit the brakes.
Quiana got out and walked to the gate. “When did you get here?”
“Watched you leave this morning,” Bryson said, raising an eyebrow and smiling. He tossed his cigarette butt in the trash and walked over, hands in his pockets. “I thought I’d turned invisible.”
Quiana glanced at Bryson and tossed him the access card.
In the car, Leo’s expression changed, “Mr. Hawley?”
Julius recognized Bryson and narrowed his eyes, murmuring, “Genesis No. 6 Research Institute’s main person–in–charge,

Genesis No. 6 Research Institute was affiliated with Noah Industries but not under the latter’s control.

Julius thought, ‘Bryson came all the way here to deliver medicine with one phone call from Quiana. Are those two really just friends? How did she know him?‘
Julius finally realized there were so many questions surrounding Quiana.
Once at the rooftop, Quiana led Bryson back to her room and closed the door, shutting out all outside views.
Julius sat in the hallway, shadows in his eyes. “Found anything?”
“No.” Leo shook his head. “Divine Alliance rejected our order.”
“What about Nightwolf?” Julius asked.
“Nightwolf won’t take it either,” Leo answered.
Divine Alliance was the most powerful hacker organization around, and Nightwolf was their star hacker.
Julius was about to speak when his phone suddenly rang. He frowned and answered it.
