He thought, ‘Ms. Levine isn’t that kind–hearted. Lucy probably has another plan up her sleeve now. She’s really in for some serious trouble now.”
Ryan blew the fringe from his forehead. “Why are you still here?”
Lucy let out a cold snort and stormed off.
L–Lucy–Lily called out.
Lucy uttered, “Get lost.”
Lily grabbed her, hoping Lucy would help, but she just pushed her away without any hesitation.
Lily collapsed to the ground, tears streaming down her face.
“You’re Lily, right?” Ryan circled her. “You probably don’t have the kind of support and connections as Lucy, do you?”
“Mr. Clark. Mr. Smith.” Lily shivered, her voice trembling as she cried. “I know I was wrong. Please don’t—”
Ryan said bluntly, “You now have only one option–leave the training camp voluntarily.” There was no room for negotiation. Moreover, the truth was already out. Lucy decided to just let things go. There were people supporting her, but no one stood up for Lily.
With a look of despair, Lily left in a daze. As she reached the door, a flash of resentment flickered in her tear–filled eyes. Everyone had left, leaving the training room quiet.
Steven plopped down into a chair by the wall, letting out a long sigh. “Don’t you think these young girls have a loose screw? Isn’t participating in dance competitions tiring enough without all this plotting?”
“In truth, it’s because they look down on Quiana for coming from the slum, even though she’s better than they are,” Ryan said, seeing they had strayed from the right path of competition and started resorting to scheming.
He patted Steven’s shoulder and reassured him, “Enough. Didn’t Quiana already say that with her around, we don’t have to worry?”
Steven remained silent.
The next day, the atmosphere in the training room was strange, especially in places where Quiana and Lucy were. Everyone stared at them oddly.
Someone asked, “So, what exactly happened last night? Did Lily sneakily teach Quiana’s dance to Lucy, and Lucy framed Quiana?”
“Yes, Last night, Cassie called me to be a witness. I saw Lily and Lucy in the bathroom,” another replied.
“However, Mr. Smith talked with them privately later, so nobody knows what they said.” Another spoke.
Viola wasn’t sure what happened last night. She had only heard bits and pieces this morning.

Listening to the low murmurs of the girls nearby, she stood up abruptly and sneered. “What are you gossiping about? Lucy always relies on herself. Do you think everyone needs to steal like Quiana? Be careful, you might get sued for defamation!”
Someone asked. “Why are you so worked up when we talk about Lucy?
One added. “It’s a big world. There are bootlickers everywhere.”
The girls weren’t intimidated at all and rolled their eyes at her, not taking her seriously.
“Mr. Smith is busy with work today, so I’m here to tell everyone,” Ryan announced to the girls gathered in the training room. wearing a bright yellow leather jacket and tapping the microphone.
He went on. “Lily has decided to leave the training camp after trying to sabotage Quiana and Lucy out of jealousy?
One exclaimed. “What?”
“Jealous of Lucy and Quiana?” another said.
Someone uttered, “Oh, she just-
“Quiet.” Ryan said. “The performance is in four days. Focus on your training. If you encounter any problems, come see me. I
“Excuse me, Mr. Clark.” A staff member knocked and came in, spotting Quiana among the girls. “Quiana, someone wants to see you.
