Lily’s mind was in chaos. She was trembling and overwhelmed that she couldn’t hear anything they were saying,
“Lucy, you-” Steven said, his gaze full of confusion, unsure of how to handle the situation
Everything was just as Quiana had expected.
Lucy stepped back and looked at them with a twisted smile. “Quiana, so what if I falsely accused you and took your dance routine? Even if you call Mr. Smith and have recordings and evidence, what can you do?”
Her beautiful eyes were filled with pride. “I’ve got Star Entertainment backing me! Do you really think the production team dared to make this public and kick me out?”
The company might have many artists, but she was under the same agent as Winona, who she was really close with. Besides, the latter had a strong connection with Keith–the real boss behind Star Entertainment.
Star Entertainment sent Lucy to help her re–debut and become a rising star. That was why they would definitely support her, and the production team of Miracle Show wouldn’t dare to offend them. Star Entertainment was her backing.
How could Quiana compete with her? What could she probably use to fight back?
Star Entertainment was indeed a problem but not an unsolvable one. Ryan’s eyes landed on Quiana as he waited for her decision.
Quiana’s face showed little emotion as her gaze landed on Steven. Her lips curled slightly and coldly. She said nothing, but her mere presence was enough to unsettle him.
He thought the incident during the day was already bad enough. It turned out there was an even more difficult situation. He wanted to escape, but there was no way out.
His thoughts spun quickly as he walked over, pressing his lips together. He extended his hand to Quiana. “Give me the recorder. I’ll go talk to Mr. Harper.”
“No need.” Quiana put the recorder away. “I said this earlier–tonight, it’s just about giving everyone a show.”
“Quiana?” Steven frowned, unable to figure out what she was planning to do.
“Mr. Smith.” Quiana patted his shoulder with a smile. “Do whatever you want. I’m here, so don’t worry.”
Steven was speechless and wondered, ‘Is she outrageous or just plain crazy?‘
Quiana yawned as she left the training room. “I’m so tired. I’m heading to bed.”
Not only Steven but Lucy also furrowed her brows, confused about what Quiana was trying to do.
Under normal circumstances, Quiana should’ve handed over the recording as evidence and waited for the director’s team to handle the matter, but she didn’t.
Lucy didn’t think Quiana would let her off the hook so easily and wondered, ‘What exactly does she want to do?‘
As soon as Quiana stepped out, the girls eavesdropping outside the training room quickly moved aside. No one dared to approach and ask her.
Wendy and Sofia caught up to Quiana, confused. “Quiana, you’re not seriously going to let Lucy off the hook, are you?” It was a golden opportunity.

“Of course. The plan is to get rid of Lucy” Sofia’s words got caught in her throat halfway through.
This season’s biggest sponsor was Star Entertainment. If the director’s team got involved, Quiana would probably get kicked out instead of Lucy. That was what power and money could do. Just when they thought they could put her in her place, this happened instead.
Sofia took a deep breath, holding back her frustration. “Are we just going to let her get away with it?”
Wendy was also dissatisfied. “That’s way too easy on her.”
Fidgeting with the recorder with a wicked smile, Quiana said, “I’ve got the recording, and so many people have seen her true colors. Do you think she’ll sleep well tonight?”
“Huh?” Sofia was puzzled.
Wendy suddenly realized something. “If we give the recording to the director’s team, they might just destroy it to protect her. But Quiana made a big scene to expose her true colors without actually dealing with her. If it were you, how would you feel?”
“I’d be anxious, thinking about what Quiana plans to do. Oh, I see!” Sofia suddenly understood. “This is simply mental torture for her.”
Quiana smirked and put away the recorder, a touch of menace in her eyes. She thought, ‘Mental torture? There’s no way I’m letting Lucy off that easy.
