“S–Sofia.” Lily’s eyes widened in shock. “W–What are you-”

Sofia shrugged innocently. “Why wouldn’t I be here? And-” she drawled, spreading her arms out and pointing to both sides, smiling. “I’m not the only one.”
Before Lily could react, a cold, stern voice from outside sounded. “Lucy, Lily, both of you get out here!”
They exclaimed inwardly, ‘It’s Steven’s voice. He’s here, too?‘
Lily was shocked. Her mind went blank with a loud buzz. She swayed slightly, looking at Lucy in panic. “L–Lucy-”
“Shut up!” Lucy finally snapped out of it and yelled at her angrily.
Lily’s knees went weak, and her face turned pale. She was too scared to go out but also too afraid not to. Their feet felt as if they were weighed down with a thousand pounds, slowly shuffling toward the door step by step.
When Lily followed Lucy out of the restroom and saw what was happening outside, she suddenly froze. She abruptly understood why Lucy had stopped after opening the door.
In the hallway outside the bathroom, besides Steven and Sofia, at least 20 other girls were standing around, some in workout clothes and others in pajamas.
To the left of the doorway, Quiana leaned casually against the wall, wearing a long black nightgown. Her face was so pale it seemed to reflect light, and her delicate features carried an air of laziness.
In her long, tanned fingers, a black recording pen spun, as if it were alive. She looked cool and flamboyant, with an aura that couldn’t be ignored.
Next to her stood Ryan, whose features were strikingly handsome with fluffy short hair that looked golden under the light. Lily thought, ‘Q–Quiana, wasn’t she supposed to be asleep already? How could she possibly be here? And there’s Steven, Ryan, and all those other girls. Judging by their stance, they didn’t just arrive for a short moment!
“They’re all here. So many people. Did they overhear everything I said to Lucy in the bathroom just now? I’m screwed!”
With a buzz in her mind, Lily’s legs gave way, and she collapsed to the ground. Her face, drained of all color, was filled with panic.

In the training room, Lucy’s company loomed behind her, creating an embarrassing scene. Steven only allowed a few involved people to enter while the other girls waited outside. They exchanged glances, pressing their ears against the door and wall, trying to hear something.
Lily clutched her clothes tightly, her head lowered, as she trembled uncontrollably.
Lucy appeared calm, but her clenched fists revealed her nervousness.
Quiana showed no emotion on her face. She was leaning casually against the wall in her pajamas and flip–flops, looking
relaxed and laid–back.
The three of them looked entirely different.
Steven looked over them and switched off all the cameras in the room first. Then, with a heavy voice, he asked, “Lucy, do you have anything else to say?”

Lucy wasn’t sure how much they had overheard. Her fingers tightened, and her chest rose and fell as she took a few deep breaths. She spoke with a pale face. “I was just discussing the dance with Lily.”

Ryan raised an eyebrow and chuckled. “What kind of dance do you need to talk about in the bathroom in the middle of the night?”
“Well, Lily came to me and s–said her team was ostracizing her.” Lucy struggled to calm her racing heart and nerves, trying hard to stay composed. “She asked if I could teach her, and I said Quiana would definitely be mad at me, so we decided to meet in the bathroom.”
“Who do you think would fall for that?” Steven’s eyes darkened, and he felt very irritated. He had work scheduled for tomorrow and wasn’t supposed to be here tonight. However, before he could leave, Ryan stopped him and said something exciting was happening.
