At half past eleven, Lucy was still training in the training room.
Yoselin passed by, took a peek, and asked with a smile, “Lucy, you’re not sleeping yet?”
During the day, even though she didn’t explicitly choose sides, she did advise Quiana to apologize, which could be seen as supporting Lucy,
Lucy glanced at her, smiled slightly, and shook her head. “I want to practice a bit more.”
Yoselin’s eyes flickered, and without saying anything else, she turned and returned to her dorm.
It wasn’t until the early morning, when the training room was almost empty, that Lucy finally stopped. She grabbed a towel to wipe her sweat and headed to the shared bathroom.
“Lucy!” Lily, who had been waiting in the bathroom, saw her, and her eyes lit up.
Lucy checked to make sure no one else was around before entering. She closed the door and said lowly, “Let’s do this quickly!“.
Lily nodded, took a deep breath, and started dancing in the bathroom’s shared space. She demonstrated it once and then again. Lucy memorized while following along. They danced seven or eight times before stopping.
Lily panted. “Quiana added so many difficult moves. She’s such a perfectionist, saying this or that doesn’t work.”
She added, “I practiced all afternoon and evening, but I’m still a bit stiff. But Lucy, you’re so incredible. You’ll definitely learn it in no time.”
Lucy memorized each dance move from earlier, replaying it in her mind for a while. Suddenly, she realized these moves were the key to the entire choreography. She opened her eyes, a gleam of brilliance flashing in them.
Lily was still a bit nervous. “Lucy, it was already like that during the day, and if we get caught again-”
“So what if they find out?” Lucy raised her chin with a sneer. “Even if they know, those mentors wouldn’t dare do anything to me–they’re all just cowards.” She was full of confidence.
Lily relaxed a little, pressed her lips together, and cautiously asked, “So, Lucy, as we agreed before, I’ll help you, and you promised that no matter whether I make it into the group, you’ll take me with you.”
Lucy looked down at her, her posture as proud as a swan. “I mean what I say.”
If Star Entertainment decided to promote someone, even someone useless could become famous. The company backing Lily was small. She was practically an ordinary person before coming here, which was exactly why she resorted to doing this.
When Lily heard Lucy’s promise, her face lit up with joy. “Thank you, Lucy.”
“Okay.” Lucy stretched her tired muscles. It was already past one o’clock. With a dark expression, she instructed, “Wait for about half an hour before you go back.”
After speaking, she reached for the door but froze completely when she pulled it open. Seeing her suddenly stop, Lily was puzzled and whispered, “Lucy, why aren’t you leaving?”
Lucy remained still and silent, but her entire body was tense and stiff as she stood there.
She stood in front of the door, blocking the view outside. Curiously, Lily stepped forward. “Lucy, Quiana’s already starting to suspect that I was secretly coaching you and plotting with you to frame her.”

When she was almost at the door, she saw someone outside through the gap between Lucy’s arms, and her voice stopped abruptly.
When she stopped talking, that person lifted their head slightly, revealing a full face that met her eyes. Someone waved with a grin. “Hi. Are you surprised or shocked?”
