Chapter 226
In the training room, Lucy finally let out a sigh of relief.
Some of the five members were so upset that they cursed Quiana. Someone curious, who mustered courage, asked, “Lucy, did you choreograph this dance?”
Another mumbled quietly, “I remember it wasn’t like this at first.”
Lucy’s expression changed, but she maintained a friendly smile. “I choreographed two versions earlier. The first was easy, and the second was more complicated. I wanted to perfect it to surprise you all.”
“Lucy is so amazing. She wouldn’t use someone else’s work!” Viola came over with a flattering smile. “Especially not Quiana’s idea. Lucy thinks it’s too dirty even to want it!”
Lucy tightened her grip on the paper slightly, and her smile froze momentarily. However, she stayed quiet, her gaze darkening. She exclaimed inwardly, ‘So what, you have evidence? Quiana, you’ll never defeat me!‘

Jocelyn and Alex found out about this when they arrived. The former frowned. “So, who actually choreographed the dance?”
Ryan scoffed. “Do you really need to ask?”
She uttered, “So Lucy-”
She thought, “That’s so bold of her! Moreover, Lucy couldn’t do anything about Quiana despite the big fuss with Quiana going over the dance moves backward and checking paper marks. In the end, she just handed over the dance score.
Even the mentors, who were used to the entertainment industry’s antics, didn’t know what to say.
What was supposed to be a simple talent show now felt like a palace drama. They even needed the production team to edit those scenes.
Steven slumped over the table, exhausted, lamenting repeatedly, “This season is just too difficult to handle!”
Ryan leaned back in his chair, arms crossed, staring intently at the girls in the training rooms on the screen. His gaze darkened as he exclaimed inwardly, ‘Taking something from Ms. Levine is never easy!‘

It seemed like the storm had passed, and no one mentioned it again. There were only four or five days left until the performance.
In the afternoon, Quiana reworked the dance choreography, adding two new sets of moves, and taught them to her teammates, including Lily, who was the most diligent.
In the evening, Sofia poked at her plate at the cafeteria, gritting her teeth. “That Lily really has some nerve. Even after all that, she still sticks around to learn. You’re even teaching her? It’s so frustrating!”
Wendy pursed her lips and whispered, “Can’t you see? Even the mentors don’t dare to do anything about Lucy.”
Lucy was the top trainee in this batch, no matter how. Backing her was Star Entertainment, and behind them was Keith, who had complicated connections and was one of the big bosses in the entertainment industry. Offending him would mean one’s career was over unless they didn’t intend to stay.
Wendy sighed. “We can only suck it up.”

Sofia nearly snapped her fork as she shouted, “Bitch!”
Thalia set down her tray and sat down. “Do we really have to do the same dance as them?”
The same song and dance would be bound to cause chaos on stage.
“Why shouldn’t we dance?” Sofia gritted her teeth. “We put a lot of effort into this, and Quiana put plenty of thought into it. Why should she get it for nothing?”
Wendy glanced at Quiana, pressing her lips together. “What we need to do now is practice hard. We can’t afford to lose on stage.”
“Quiana!” Sofia clenched her fists. “You must do your best, and don’t let her win.”
Quiana rested her chin on her hand, watching her friend’s indignant expression with a smile. “How about I teach you so you can beat her yourself?”
Sofia immediately deflated, hanging her head in defeat. “Even if I train for another ten years, I can’t beat her.”
“Don’t underestimate yourself.” Wendy laughed along. “Where’s your ambition?”
Someone snapped, “She still has the nerve to laugh.”
“I guess she’s a shameless optimist,” said another.
One added, “Let’s see if they can still laugh after the big performance!”
A few girls walked by and mocked them.
Sofia’s anger surged again. “My ambition lies with Quiana.” She turned and tugged at Quiana’s sleeve, whining, “Quiana, help me vent my anger! Quiana? Quiana? Qui-
“Okay.” Quiana sighed, her slightly narrowed eyes flickering with coldness.
That night, Quiana went over every detail with everyone again. After practicing until eight o’clock, she returned to her dorm, showered, and went to bed.
