Lily tightened her grip on her clothes and pressed her lips together. “Sofia and Wendy are close with Quiana. The dance was something the three of them created together.”
“They have connections, power, and status. I have none of that. Why would I lie? I’m being honest because I just want to reach the finals,” she said,
“Listen to that. Even your teammate can’t stand you!” someone commented,
Another said, “You stole from Lucy and then tried to silence everyone. Why are you so shameless?”
“Exactly! Do you think you’re amazing just because you can speak a foreign language? Do you really know Uprian?” one scolded.
They continued, “Did you steal Lucy’s choreography sheet because you’re worried your choreography will lose to her and your unjustified first–place title would be taken away from you?”
“It’s no wonder you’re so sure of yourself. Stealing someone else’s finished work–isn’t that something?” a spectator stated.
People from other training rooms heard the commotion and rushed over to find out what was going on. After learning the story, they also began berating Quiana.
Sofia’s expression turned grim. “Lily, it’s understandable that others tried to bring us down, but did you forget which group you’re in?”
“I have to say something because we are on the same team!” Lily bit her lip. “Otherwise, things would turn out bad for Quiana.”
“Damn!” Sofia almost lost it, her eyes blazing with anger. “Lily, what did Lucy offer you?”
Jessica sneered, “She’s being honest, so why are you accusing Lucy of buying her over? You’re protective of Quiana. What perks did she offer you?”
“Oh, right. I forgot you guys stole the choreography sheet together,” she mocked.
“Quiana, this situation could go either way. If it blows up, you’ll be kicked out of the training camp, which would be so embarrassing,” Yoselin explained. “Maybe you should just swallow your pride, apologize to Lucy, and give her the choreography sheet back…” she urged.
“She stole other people’s items. Why should she feel wronged?” someone said.
Just as Yoselin started speaking, she was interrupted.
“It’s bad enough you’re acting shamelessly, but you’re also dragging your whole group down with you…” one shouted. Another demanded, “Thieves should be expelled from the training camp!”
“I don’t want to be partnered with a thief. I’m going to ask the teacher to change groups.” Lily spoke.
“Which group are you planning to switch to?” someone asked.
“Who’s going to switch with you?” another added.
Lily went silent.
Only three days were left until the second public performance, with possibly half of the people being eliminated. Dance rehearsals had started, so if there was a reshuffle, they might have to start over.

Nobody wanted that sort of trouble.
Lily’s comment caused a huge stir among the girls standing outside.

“What’s going on?” Steven was summoned. He frowned when he noticed the chaos.
“Mr. Smith, Quiana stole Lucy’s choreography sheet and copied it…” someone said.
Another added, “And she’s not even admitting it..”
The whole crowd immediately started chattering and complaining loudly.
With the voting issue still unresolved, and now this drama, it took a while for Steven to understand the situation. He frowned, looking back and forth between Lucy and Quiana.
Then, he asked Lucy first, “Are you sure Quiana took your choreography sheet?”
Lucy lifted her chin and sneered, “Do you think I’m causing a fuss for no reason?”
Steven frowned. After some time in the training camp, he had gotten to know Quiana’s personality and did not believe she would steal. He chose his words carefully. “Did you take anything from Lucy…”
Quiana replied, “No.”
From the moment Lucy accused her of stealing the choreography sheet and the group began berating her, this was only the second sentence Quiana had spoken.
“Who would admit to stealing something?” Viola scoffed from the back, and others quickly echoed her sentiment.
“We had no clue Lucy picked the same song as us. She and Yoselin swapped their song to match ours–if anyone’s stealing, wouldn’t it be her stealing from us?” Sofia stated.
“Lucy speaks eight languages and trained in dance and the arts–would she actually need to steal Quiana’s routine?” someone voiced.
Sofia replied, “That statement applies to you all much better!”
“Shut up!” Steven shouted when he noticed an argument was about to erupt in the group again.
