Chapter 213
In Larson Group, Xavier gripped the pen in his hand and frowned. “Are you sure there’s nothing?”

“Yes, I’m sure about that.” Tyshawn’s voice was feeble. He had pulled some strings and asked around on the black market, but no one had it. After a pause, he added, “Honestly, I’d suggest you to stop thinking about that pill.”
Xavier looked up at him in confusion.
Tyshawn stood up from the couch, walked over to the desk, and lowered his voice. “I recently heard something from my uncle, but I’m not sure if it’s true.”
Xavier said in a deep voice, “Speak.”
Tyshawn’s voice dropped even lower. “That pill is similar to an experimental drug recently developed by Nova Industries. It might have been stolen and sold on the market.” As for the details, his uncle did not know either.
Xavier’s frown deepened. He could not believe Nova Industries and the National Medical Bureau would let an experimental drug leak from the laboratory and thought Quiana had been bold for selling it.
Moreover, she had sold them for up to several million dollars. Even the vice president of East Aploth Airlines was her customer, so it was pretty clear how profitable it was.
Where did Quiana get the pill? Was it stolen? But she has joined Miracle Show. It’s a closed training. There’s no way I can find her. Wait. Did she join the talent show to hide from me? This brat!‘ Xavier thought.
In a private room of an upscale restaurant in Janivielle, Keith tapped his fingers on the table and stared at the person across from him coldly. “Your medicine almost killed my grandpa!”
Winona trembled. She bit her lips and said with reddened eyes, “Keith, I did it for Mr. Hawley. How come everyone else was fine after taking it but not him?”
The pill had already spread in the underground market. Even healthy people wanted to buy some to see if they could prolong their lives. Winona’s side had done their research. Consuming the pill would alleviate any disease, so things shouldn’t have gone wrong with Edward.
Winona suddenly remembered something and grabbed Keith’s arm with misty eyes. “My brother bought the medicine from Quiana for me. She must have tampered with it since she’s unhappy with her marriage arrangement with Julius. If Mr. Hawley dies, she won’t have to marry Julius.”
Seeing Keith did not respond and his expression was still gloomy, Winona tugged at his sleeve and pleaded, “Keith, I was doing it for you and Mr. Hawley.”
Keith snapped out of his thoughts and shoved her arms away. He stood up and warned, “I know you’meant well for me and Grandpa. But if something happens to him because of this medicine, I’ll surely hold you accountable for it!”
Winona’s hand froze mid–air. Her heart sank, and tears rolled down her cheeks. “I’m sorry, Keith. I was just trying to help you.” She choked with sobs, looking frail in her pink and white bubble dress.
Keith looked at her indifferently. “Don’t cause me unnecessary trouble again.”
He left after saying that, leaving Winona alone.
Once the door was closed, the pitiful look on Winona’s face turned vicious as she dug her nails into the cushion angrily. “Quiana, you bitch!”
