Chapter Twenty–two
Tovi’s POV
I woke up in the morning with Greg’s arms around me and him snoring lightly. He looked so
peaceful sleeping that I did not want to move. I felt sore down there, but last night was
incredible. I never thought something like that would be so magical and felt so good. I can’t
wait until after the ceremony tonight so we can do that again.
“When is it going to be my turn?” Winter asked. “I would like to have some fun with Deacon,
too. And you told me to behave last night when you couldn’t heed your warning. Geez, not fair!
“She was pouting.
“I’m sorry,” I said, “but we needed to mate and mark each other so we could have a better
connection, that you and Deacon have a better connection. We will let you two out when we
get to Mountain Moon, but not tonight.” I explained to her.
“OK, you better, or I will go on a rampage!” she said and went to lie down in the back of my
head.
I giggled but remembered that I needed to get up and pack everything. We are leaving
tomorrow to go to his pack, and I will become a member and a Luna there. I am sad that I am
leaving my home but excited about the new adventure I am about to embark on with my mate.
I tried to get up, but Greg was not letting me go.
“Babe, I need to get up. I have too much to do today with packing and getting ready for the
ceremony tonight,” I said, nudging him. He growled, tightening his arms around me.
“Mine!” he said passively, making me laugh.
“Yes, I am yours, just like you are mine,” I explained. “But I need to use the bathroom.” He
finally let go of me, so I could use the bathroom. Angelica’s mind linked me, wanting to come
up and help me pack. I told her to wait a bit because I just got up and neither one of us is
presentable for visitors right now.
“Did you two mate and mark each other last night?” she asked.
“Yes, we did,” I answered, and I heard her scream through the link.
“That is so awesome! About time, you two did that!” she screeched. I laughed and cut the link.
“What is so funny?” Greg asked me as he walked into the bathroom.
“Angelica figured out that we mated last night,” I replied. “She wanted to come up and help pack, but I told her that we were not presentable right now.” He laughed and started the

shower. We had round two in the shower, and it was even better. This man will be the death of
me with all this s*x. Afterward, I looked at his mark on my neck. It was neat. It was a black
wolf with a white wolf behind it, with the crescent moon behind both. I knew it was Deacon
and Winter. Greg’s was the exact opposite, with Winter up front and Deacon in the back with a
full moon. The moons are when we were conceived by our parents.
We headed to the dining room to have breakfast. Zane, Richard, Bjorn, Luna, and Margo were already there. Angelica was working in the dining room today, so she brought our plates to us immediately. Gotta love my bestie! We all got to talking about the ceremony tonight, what time to be there, and whatnot. Luna had some last–minute things to check on with the
ceremony and told me to meet her at the front door in two hours to get our hair done at the
shopping center and have lunch with her one last time.
“I don’t want you to go alone,” Greg told me. “You are taking Moneo and Henry with you. You are the Luna of my pack and will be a target for my enemies. I will not take no for an answer. Either you take them with you, or you stay here.”
“Ok, I will take them with me,” I said, kissing him on the lips. “Besides, we have Zane’s warriors
with us and the pack does an excellent job of protecting the Luna when she is out in the shopping center. I don’t think that you have anything to worry about.”
Angelica and I headed up to my room to pack. Greg bought me three suitcases to pack everything, even though I didn’t have much. It took us an hour to pack everything, except my gown, pajamas for tonight, and clothes for tomorrow. It was time for me to go with Luna to get
our hair done. Angelica and Caitlin are going, too. Mother is going to meet us there. We get to the door to meet up with Greg’s warriors, suddenly I hear “MINE!” and Angelica is pinned up against the wall. One of Greg’s warriors is Angelica’s mate! I placed my hand on his arm, Moneo, I see that my best friend is your mate, and I am happy for you. But, may I have her back for a couple of hours, and then you can have her back. She will be going with us,” I explained to him.
”
He nodded his head, “Sorry, Luna, I don’t know what got over me, “he said apologetically. “My wolf took over, and he wanted to mark her right now. I will get better control of him.”
“What is his name, Moneo?” I asked him.
“Apollo, Luna,” he answered.
“Apollo, you can have your mate in a couple of hours,” I explained. “Right now, it is your job to
protect me and Angelica until we come back. Do you understand?”
“Yes, Luna, I am sorry. I just got excited that I had finally found her after a couple of days of smelling her scent,” Apollo said. I nodded my head, walked up to Greg, and kissed him.

Chapter Twenty–two
“I will be back, my love,” I said lovingly. I felt something in my hand. It was his card.
“Take this and use it,” he said. “When we get back to the pack, you will have one waiting for you there. I already had it ordered yesterday.” I nodded my head and got into the SUV.
We went to the shopping center, which is a five–minute drive away. We walked into the salon, Marcos, the owner, walked up to us and welcomed us. Moneo growled at him when he touched Angelica. I laughed at him. “Moneo, you behave,” I giggled. “Marcos is gay, and his
mate is standing right there at the chair. You have nothing to worry about.” Marcos’s mate,
Anton, bowed his head at Luna and me, ready to do our hair. Mother walked in after us with
father and she hugged me. She has a new mark.
“Did you and father mate and mark last night?” I asked her excitedly. She shook her head, and
I squealed in excitement. My parents are back together like they are supposed to.
“That means that you are going to Ocean Bay to live?” I asked her.
“Yes, but I am sad to leave because I won’t get to see Bjorn succeed at being a Gamma here,”
mother sadly said.
“You know that he will do a great job, and he will have a great support system,” I said. “And
besides, Jason is staying to help train him,” I told her what Greg told me. So, my little brother
will be set up to be an excellent Gamma under Jason and Alpha’s guidance.
We sat down, and the hairdressers started on our hair. We were all laughing and having a
wonderful time when, suddenly, we all got a mind link that we were under attack from the
rogues. Luckily, the salon has a bunker downstairs where we can go and be safe until the
threat is gone. Greg’s warriors got here yesterday, so we have the much–needed backup from
the attacks.
“We are under attack!” Greg yelled through the mind link. “Get somewhere safe, NOW!”
“Marcos has a bunker in the basement,” I explained to him. “We are going now. Moneo, Koty,
Joey, my father’s warriors, and Anton are guarding the salon right now.‘
“You stay there until I say it is safe,” he ordered. “I love you and I will see you shortly.” I am
worried that Greg will get hurt, but he is extraordinarily strong and a damn good fighter. We
heard a crash upstairs and growling. I looked at Angelica worriedly, hoping that the guys could keep the rogues at bay. Luna and Caitlin were in the corner, scared, hoping that the Alpha
would be safe through this. I was feeling some pain through the mate bond, knowing that the
rogues were hurting Greg.
“We need to be out there, helping protect the pack!” Winter growled.
“We are not strong enough yet, nor are we good enough fighter,” I explained to her. “We have

had only a couple of weeks of training. That is not good enough to keep them at bay!”
“In human form, yes,” Winter growled. “But in wolf form, yes you are! I am a fighter and that is why the Moon Goddess paired me with you! You are strong and resilient, and you can do this!”
“Not this time,” I said. She growled and went to the back of my mind.
About an hour later, we all got the mind link that it was safe, and we could come out of the bunker. Angelica ran upstairs to check on Moneo, which he, and all the other warriors, had
several scratches and cuts. The salon was a mess, and a dead rogue was lying in the middle
of the floor. Marcos got upset because his salon was destroyed.
Luna looked at me and said,” We are going to delay the ceremony. Too many wolves hurt and
too much destruction. Mrs. Smith linked me and said that the downstairs was a mess and
everything for the ceremony was destroyed.” I felt bad for Bjorn because this was supposed to
be his night, and he would become a Gamma. Now, it is delayed.
Greg finally linked me, “Baby, are you and all the women ok at the salon?” he asked.
“Yes, we are ok. The salon is destroyed, and the warriors here have minor injuries. Moneo and
Koty will need stitches,” I told him. “Are you ok? I could feel your pain through the bond.” I
asked him.
“Yes, I am ok, just some bites and scratches. I will be healed up by the end of the day,” he said,
and I let out a breath that I didn’t know that I was holding.
